So the dogs are blithely playing ball and the baby human starts to cry. Check out the expression on the black dog’s face. Check out his body language. He is very upset that the baby is crying! So are the other dogs. They’d like to do something about it–but what? There’s some gavone with a camera in the way…
The dog’s mouth is too small to pop the balloon, but he keeps on trying and the baby is digging it. I wish we’d had a dog or a cat when I was a baby. Honestly, how can this not be wonderful for the child’s development? Who’s too young for merriment and mirth?
For that matter… who’s too old for it?
Do babies learn from dogs, or dogs from babies? Here we see dogs imitating babies, and babies imitating dogs. Well, dogs are way better role models than some of the ones we pick up later in life: maybe babies are born with good sense. It would be so cool if they could talk to us! So many things I’d love to ask a baby… or a dog.
Look how good and how careful these dogs are with these babies. Kind of makes you think maybe Romulus and Remus really could’ve been adopted by a mother wolf. Only nobody had video cameras in those days, so who can tell?
This has just gotta be so good for a baby! Well, my doctor says it leads to a stronger immune system, and he should know. But it must be wonderful for a baby, spiritually and emotionally, to love and be loved by some big, warm, cuddly critter.
Be honest, now–if it had been you instead of God creating the world, would you have thought of this?
This little fellow wants to be a good baby-sitter, but he just can’t stay awake! How can he watch over the baby, if he’s going to fall asleep?
Well, you’ll see.
Isn’t it something, the way these dogs have bonded with babies? They sleep with babies, protect them, even offer the baby a nice biscuit–what more could you ask?
Don’t you wish you could know what’s going on inside a baby’s mind? Something about dogs really tickles these babies–and check out the tiny tot who has figured out, by watching the dog, that you can have endless fun with that springy thing that goes boing when you hit it.
I know there are people out there who would freak out if a dog ever licked their baby’s face: but they’re missing out on something good.
Germs, schmerms–a happy baby is a healthy baby.
If any of you think I’m going overboard with these cat and dog and baby videos, think about all the bilge I have to write about all day; and then think about some of the bilge I haven’t written about.

Babies and Dobermans–really? Well, seeing is believing–otherwise I wouldn’t’ve believed it. My wife insists Dobermans are really nice dogs, but I had them as being something more in the nature of Velociraptors.
Anyhow, here’s more proof that dogs and cats are very, very good for babies.
Just like they’re good for us adults.
