What’s wrong with this picture?

You, uh, “teach” algebra by giving each student in your junior high school class a little workbook. They’re supposed to work out the problems in their notebooks and hand in the answers.

Each workbook has a plastic slide on the right-hand half of the page, concealing the answers to the questions. This is where it gets rather silly.

All we had to do was slide the plastic sheet and copy the correct answers into our notebooks. Voila! We all got A’s! Ain’t we smart!

I racked up A’s because I wasn’t strong or mature enough to resist the temptation. This landed me in Advanced Math in high school, where I paid for my sins. End result: I didn’t learn any higher math at all.

Look to the top of this page. That’s a basic algebra problem. I can do them now; but I couldn’t do them in high school, I was hopeless. I learned NOTHING by cheating.

But the “educators” should have foreseen this problem, and planned accordingly. They shouldn’t have made it so easy to cheat.

Dennis Prager: Leave the Public Schools

I’ve been saying this for years, and R.J. Rushdoony and the Chalcedon Foundation said it for decades: get your children out of public school.

It’s beginning to sound like Americans are waking to their peril. Yesterday big-name commentator Dennis Prager came aboard.

“The single best thing Americans can do to counter the left-wing attack on America–against its freedoms, its schools, its families, its children, its governmental institutions, its sports, its news and entertainment media, its medical establishment, its CIA, its FBI, the State Department, and the military–is to take their children out of America’s schools.”

Or, as I have put it, kill public education, and Far Left Crazy dies.

At last people all over the country are standing up against their so-called schools–mostly because the schools have tried to impose Critical Race Theory on human beings. It’s too bad it took such a gaudy abomination as CRT to wake us up, but better late than never.

Our “education” system is killing us. That is not a figure of speech. The system is run by Far Left lunatics who won’t rest until they’ve destroyed our republic. That’s not a figure of speech either: take it literally.

Welcome aboard, Mr. Prager! What took you so long?

All Sorts of ‘Wish Spells’!

If you go to YouTube and search for “wishing spell,” you’ll find a virtually inexhaustible mine of superstitious twaddle. The one above is only one of many.

This in the middle of a worldwide technology splurge.

This in the context of “education” that takes up the first fifteen to twenty years of your life, costs more than anything, and advertises itself as indispensable–although it looks like a lot of people have already dispensed with it.

We need to be smarter than this if we want to keep our country.

What happens when a nation forsakes God and turns to the worship of sticks and stones–and wishing dust?

Nothing good. Oh, no, nothing good.
