Oh, those precious “symbols”!

I have a blog post from May 28 of last year which starkly contrasts with this year’s current push for bigger and better mask mandates–especially for kids in school.

In “So What’s the Mask For, Again?”, we have Democrat bigwigs like Andrew “resigned in disgrace” Cuomo, Fauci, and Biden touting the mask not as having any value medically, but as a “symbol of strength,” “compassion,” and national togetherness.

So What’s the Mask for, Again?

And now they want us masking up again! Which is it, cowboy? We’re getting confused!

Have we forgotten what they were telling us–so authoritatively!–just a little over a year ago? How many 180s are we going to let them do on us?

Do we need a Constitutional amendment forbidding any kind of “mandate” under any circumstances?

Yesterday was supposedly the end of our Mask Mandate here in New Jersey. Free, free, free at last!

So we went to the grocery store. There were a lot of people shopping, and I was the only one not wearing a mask. My wife, waiting in the parking lot, said she must’ve seen at least 50 people go into the store and not one of them (except me) wasn’t wearing a mask.

Got the sheeple trained real good, don’t they?

I mean, could we back off a couple steps and just take a look at this? First the experts call the face masks useless, then we’ve got a mandate and they’d like us to wear two at once. First the whole idea that King COVID escaped from the Chicoms’ mad scientist lab in Wuhan was only a krazy konspiracy theory. Now it’s something that has to be “investigated.” By a “president” whose whole family is in the Chicoms’ pocket! Can you say “towering gigantic conflict of interest”?

They’ve been playing games with us from Day One of this COVID mess, changing definitions of their terms from week to week, telling lies and tall tales, scaring us…

So now when they open the cage they’ve built for us, no one flies out.

They’ve really done a number on us.

Beating the Censors

Our friend “Re-Farmer” sent us this video in a comment yesterday, and I’m posting it here today so everyone can see it.

When I have a post that I think will probably be suppressed by Facebook–experience is my guide–I often head it up with a picture of happy puppies. This always gets it past FB’s robot censors.

Well, watch how this guy totally defeats the YouTube censors. You may, at first, fall for his trick and think he’s just repeating the same-old same-old–but stay with it, you’ll soon be applauding his resourcefulness.

Yes, we can beat Far Left Crazy. It’ll take hard work and ingenuity, but we can do it!

Why We Need Mandates

Sheeple… who need sheeple…

I was talking with a neighbor yesterday who kinda likes the mandatory face masks and all the other mandates. She is a liberal.

Mandates handed down from the top are much better than laws enacted by our chosen representatives after public debate, she explained, because “laws just take too long.” And we wouldn’t need mandates, she said, “if people would just do the right thing,” so we have the mandates “to make them behave.”

Dude! Where’s my adulthood? Did I suddenly become six years old again? All we all just toddlers with drivers’ licenses?

This sorry business with the face masks and the mandatory shunning each other has got to stop and never be allowed to happen again. The politicians responsible for it must be voted out of office, never to return. Too bad we can’t vote the nooze media out.
