Requested by Phoebe: In the Name of Jesus We Have the Victory. It’s done bluegrass-style, by an assortment of performers captured on vintage video. Something very cozy about those old films, don’t you think?
We continue our own small contribution to the Revival with a hymn request from Phoebe: In the Name of Jesus We Have the Victory. I don’t know who performs this bluegrass version, but I’m sure the bad guys do not like it.
Requested by Phoebe, In the Name of Jesus We Have the Victory. I don’t know who this singer is, but I kept replaying the hymn in my head all night long. This’ll stay with you for a while.
The Far Left satraps in California have practically banned Thanksgiving, heaping restrictions on it till you can barely see it; and you know, you absolutely know, their hearts are set on banning Christmas.
Again–this is a time for Christians to sing louder. All of us together! In and out of church!
In the Name of Jesus We have the Victory (requested by Phoebe; sung at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden): it makes the devil’s flesh crawl. They don’t want us singing to the Lord, they super-don’t want us singing together (“Divide and rule” has always been their thing), and they certainly don’t want Him to hear us.
Our sins have landed us in this predicament–lorded over by sinners even worse than ourselves. Turning away from our sins and turning to the Lord will get us out of it.
Sing louder! Moses said, “Who is on the Lord’s side? Let him come to me.” Hear him.
I’ve gotten a lot done today, so why not post another hymn? This is the one Phoebe asked for: In the Name of Jesus We Have the Victory. I don’t know who this is, singing the hymn and giving a bit of personal testimony afterward, but I like the way he does it and I hope you do, too.
