A Third Term for Trump?

Not since Hercules power-washed all the filth out of King Augeus’ stables have we seen anything like the way Donald Trump has launched himself into his second term as president. So much so, that the Internet is already buzzing with schemes to win him a third term.

That, it would seem, would require an amendment to the Constitution. But aside from that, I’d rather see us buckle down to choosing a strong MAGA candidate as his successor. Trump will, after all, be 82 years old by then.

America owes him a debt of gratitude. But let’s be fair: just how much can one man do? How much can we ask of him?

Maybe by 2028 Vice President J.D. Vance will be ready to run and serve as president. Or someone whom we haven’t thought of yet. We have to keep it going. When it comes to getting our country back on course, that’ll take more than another four years. Trump has already done much of the hard work; but let’s be real: Far Left Crazy is not willing to go gently into that good night. They’ll have to be driven out of their high places.

We are in a crucial juncture of our country’s history… and we’d better not blow it.

Our Next (Gulp!)… ‘President’?

Elsa Kurt has an uncanny ability to imitate Kamala Harris.

[Thanks to Susan for the nooze tip.]

So the special counsel describes SloJo as an old man with a bad memory–he was being fantastically charitable–and now assorted Democrats are flirting with the idea of giving Joe the push at their party’s national convention.

Of course, then they’d have to replace him. With whom? Our country is endowed with a whole crowd of terrifyingly inadequate “leaders.” But it would be hard to find anyone more inadequate than SloJo’s vice president–Kamala Harris, the Queen of Word Salad.

As if to drive home the point that she is no more self-aware than a man who insists he’s Queen Victoria, Kamala has been gushing about how “ready” she is to succeed Dodderin’ Joe as president.

Elsa Kurt’s imitation is uncomfortably close to the real thing.

P.S.–Yes, mockery is a legitimate tool of political discourse. And we never needed it more than we need it now.
