They Still Want You to Eat Bugs

Jiminy Cricket: if globalists get their way, he’ll soon be behind the 8-ball, not on top of it.

Why are globalists and other ninnies always trying to talk regular people into eating bugs?

The Associated Press has a piece exhorting us to eat crickets and thus realize a “huge environmental impact” ( http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_FOOD_AND_FARM_EDIBLE_CRICKETS?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2017-01-13-01-22-13 ). To make it sound more credible, the promoters of this scheme cite a 2013 paper by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization which urges people to… eat bugs.

Yeah, I’d love to see that at one of those $10,000-a-plate fundraising dinners the whoopee crowd loves to hold–a gaggle of liberal politicians and Hollywood celebrities chowing down on crickets. John Kerry with a mouthful of nice, tasty spiders: that just might shut him up for once.

Hey, you deplorables out there! Why aren’t you eating insects like the experts tell you to? Huh?

Um… in Bram Stoker’s novel, Dracula had an insane worshiper named Renfield who used to eat all kinds of bugs so he could be more like his “master.” And the Devil sometimes uses the moniker Baal-z’vuv, “Lord of the Flies.” Anybody seeing a pattern here?

Bear in mind this simple rule: Never, never do anything recommended by the UN or any of its so-called “experts.” They are not your friends.

And let’s see that private jet-and-limo Davos mob all get together for a cricket fry.

Warning! Disgusting Content

Warning: the following is truly disgusting, especially if you click to the news story for the details. I’m posting it to show just how far in the wrong direction pure secularism can take you.

World-saver wannabes are always advising us ordrinary dum peple to eat stuff that would normally disgust us.

Well, the latest example of this is “a team of chefs”–chefs? you gotta be kidding–“and scientists”–there’s always a scientist involved–belonging to an outfit called the Nordic Food Lab, in Denmark: and, to Save The Planet–somehow they always have it Saving The Planet–they recommend we eat… “insects, blood, and feces” (http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/food-and-drink/the-nordic-food-lab-wants-you-to-eat-blood-insects-and-brains-to-save-the-world-a7446876.html ). This they call “a holistic approach to eating.” What would you call it?

It brings to mind persons whom Paul called “enemies of the cross of Christ, whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame” (Philippians 3:19). I think he hit that nail right on the head.

Well, we’re waiting for the Davos crowd to sit down to a fancy dinner of insects and blood and assorted kinds of poo. Let’s see them lead by example.

Al Gore, John Kerry–Bon appetite!

Here Comes the Pushback

I make no pretense of interpreting Bible prophecy in terms of today’s current events. I don’t pore over Revelation and try to draw up a prophetic timetable. God will do what He does, when He does it: and most prophecy is only understood after it’s come to pass.

But I think a lifelong study of the art has given me some ability to interpret history, even the ongoing history that we are living through.

I read a provocative column by Michael Barone the other day ( http://townhall.com/columnists/michaelbarone/2016/10/21/despite-trump-demotic-protest-politics-doesnt-always-fail-n2235217 ) in which he discussed sort of the same thing that has happened in two very different countries, Britain and Colombia. In both cases:

*There was a public policy at issue, strongly favored by the nation’s rulers and by voters in the capitol cities;

*Opposition to the issue came from the people in “flyover country” who are always ignored by the bigwigs;

*In both cases, polls predicted that the issue would win, hands-down;

*And in both cases, it lost. Hands-down.

We have something similar going on right here in America. We have policies eagerly pushed by our bosses–open borders, sweetheart trade deals with not  altogether honest trading partners, and whatever can lead to bigger and bigger, more and more powerful government–seconded by the whoopee crowd in Washington and Hollywood… and hated and opposed by the regular people. And the Donald Trump candidacy, like the TEA Party movement before it, is strong evidence that the American people are getting good and fed up with their leadership. And may be just about ready to do something about it.

Throughout the whole world it becomes increasingly obvious that the interests of the leaders and the interests of the people aren’t even in the same area code, and that the leaders, the Davos crowd, have their own agenda which is no way, no how, our agenda.

When the Soviet Union collapsed, the infection of communism spread all throughout the West.

By now, maybe, God has provided us with antibodies.

Let us put our heads down, do our duty, and occupy until He comes. Whenever that may be.
