New York governor signs new law banning 'gendered language' for professions

NY Gov. Kathy Hochul–she wants to control your language.

In their tireless battle against truth and sanity, New York Democrats have passed a new “law” banning “gendered language” (https://thepostmillennial.com/new-york-governor-signs-new-law-banning-gendered-language-for-professions).

Now we can’t even talk without the government shutting us down if they don’t like our language. Can’t say “councilman” or “councilwoman” anymore–nothing is too trivial for them to “regulate.” And you can’t say “prison inmate” anymore: you have to say “a justice-involved individual.”

In addition to being tyrannical, it’s bloody stupid.

There is nothing we can say or do without liberals trying to control it.

What? Are they going to throw us in jail for saying “man” or “woman” instead of “they”? How about “organisms that identify as bipeds”?

But as sociologist Theodore Dalrymple has observed, the whole point of this is to force us to say things we don’t believe, so as to undermine our self-respect and make us easier to control. The Soviet Union did it for 70 years.

It wasn’t their fault they went extinct; but what’s our excuse?

“In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate, and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality, the better.”

That quote by British sociologist Theodore Dalrymple pretty much sums up the whole “transgender” movement. Compare it to this official Tweet from the American Civil Liberties Union:

“Men who get their periods are men. Men who get pregnant and give birth are men.” It was issued just the other day, to celebrate “International Men’s Day” by wiping out any sane definition of “man” (http://www.gopusa.com/aclu-says-men-who-get-their-periods-are-men-men-who-get-pregnant-and-give-birth-are-men/).

They humiliate us, and strip us of our self-respect, by forcing us, for fear of being trashed and vilified as “haters,” to say things we know are simply not true.

The ACLU, under the guise of defending our civil liberties and our right to free speech, has been in the forefront of the massive Far Left jihad to remake our society into God knows what. The few good things they’ve done are nothing, compared to all the harm they do.

If we have any self-respect at all, we must preserve it by defying this lunatic campaign. Defying it until it stops. Refusing to say ridiculous things that we know to be false.

And refusing to vote for any fool who says them.

That point made by Theodore Dalrymple–that the purpose of communist “teaching” is humiliation of the one who receives it, and then must parrot shameful inanities which he knows to be untrue–is golden. People who’ve been humiliated find it hard to stand up to tyranny.

The only thing is, what if students come out of college really and truly believing this crapola? Then they won’t have been humiliated. They’ll have been turned into idiots with a touch of fanaticism.

Whether they are useful or completely useless idiots, only time will tell.

I’m betting on the latter.
