Cardinal Burke vs. the Red Pope

Cardinal Raymond Burke says his recovery slow after COVID-19 ...

Cardinal Burke

Francis I, the “go-along to get along” pope, has reportedly “punished” Cardinal Raymond Burke [am I supposed to say Raymond Cardinal Burke? I’d like to show respect] for being “a source of disunity in the Church” (https://www.8newsnow.com/news/international/ap-pope-punishes-leading-critic-cardinal-burke-in-second-action-against-conservative-american-prelates/).

Anonymous leaks from a Nov. 30 meeting said the pope took away the cardinal’s Vatican apartment and his salary.

Well, he spends most of his time in America anyway; and you can be sure he isn’t in it for the money. And millions of Christians, in a heartbeat, would freely contribute to the cardinal’s expenses if he needed it.

Burke’s offense? He does not go along to get along. Unlike this pope, he does not trawl the depths for political allies among liberals and communists. Cardinal Burke does not subscribe to this pope’s addiction to playing footsie with the Far Left Crazy.

Pray for Cardinal Burke: O Lord our God, stand by your faithful servant Raymond Burke, whose defense of the Scriptures and the truth is a shield of faith for all Christians regardless of denomination. Please, Father–uphold him and confound his enemies. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Cardinal Burke Has Serious Doubts

Raymond Leo Burke - Wikipedia

Cardinal Burke

Back in August Raymond Cardinal Burke and several others sent a message to Pope Francis asking for answers to certain “dubia”–doubts–that they have concerning some of his theology. The full communication, Notification to Christ’s Faithful, is available online (https://www.cardinalburke.com/presentations/notification-to-christs-faithful).

No. 1 on their list of “dubia” is this: Should the church “reinterpret Divine Revelation according to the cultural and anthropological changes in vogue”? I’m guessing these cardinals don’t want to do that but they’re afraid this pope does.

They’re also asking if this pope is suggesting that “the theology of the Church has changed.” For instance: Does every sin get forgiven, whether or not the sinner repents? I think that’s a very slippery slope. So do the cardinals. They think the Church could be led into “confusion and error.”

No answer has been received from the Vatican. The doubts continue unresolved.

The Church that belongs to Jesus Christ Our Lord transcends denominations. We should all be praying for “the ten just men” within the Roman Catholic Church. And stand together with them.

Christian Colleges ‘Make Peace with Abortion’

Clergy for Choice” – Lee Duigon

They’re gonna need a bigger Hell.

Just a few days ago in the U.S. Senate, Sen. Joe Machin (D-WV) cast the one vote that stopped a bill to allow abortion up until the moment of birth: all Democrats but Manchin voted for it. All Republicans voted against it. A narrow escape.

Meanwhile, here’s a story that we missed when it came out last year.

A study by Students for Life of America found that among a sample of 783 Christian colleges (Catholic, Protestant, etc.), one in eight had “ties to the abortion industry” (https://www.christianpost.com/news/sfla-lists-christian-colleges-with-ties-to-planned-parenthood.html). Several listed Planned Parenthood as “a trusted resource” (!). Some others gave course credit for internships with the abortion giant.

“Christian” schools? What kind of Christianity is that? Why do Catholic bishops allow Catholic colleges to go all-out against church teaching? Honk if you can tell the difference between Georgetown and Rutgers.

And you’ve got “devout Catholic” politicians like Biden and Pelosi pushing abortion (and sodomy, and transgender, too, for that matter) like their lives depended on it.

I wish Cardinal Burke were pope. He’d stop this funny business so fast, their heads’d spin.

We Protestants don’t have a central authority. We just have a lot of denominations, some of which call themselves Christian churches. No truth in advertising here.

For a country that was founded by Christians as a Christian country, America has found many ways to displease God.

And I think you’ll agree He’s found some to displease us. But really, He hasn’t started yet.

Cardinal Burke Slams Globalists’ ‘Evil Agenda’

Cardinal Raymond Burke is no fan of “the new normal” and “the Great Re-Set.” Listen to this 17-minute homily he delivered a few days ago at the shrine of Our Lady of Gaudalupe in LaCrosse,. Wisconsin. This is a warrior for the universal Church, which embraces all Christians: hear him.

The Cardinal denounces the use of the Wuhan Virus to advance an “evil agenda… an ideology totally opposed to the Christian foundation… We are now the subjects of a ‘Great Re-Set” based on “manipulation by ignorance and fear.”

He translates it into Spanish, having delivered his message in English.

I happened to notice only one person in the pews wearing a face mask. Go ahead, fascists, I dare ya–go in there and try to silence Cardinal Burke. This is the guy who wouldn’t let abortion-loving politicians take communion in the churches under his jurisdiction: wouldn’t let them through the door.

We need more like him, and we need them now.
