It turns out humans are good for one thing, at least–getting cats, dogs, birds, and ferrets out of ridiculous situations they’ve gotten themselves into.
I’ve always wondered how cats that squeeze themselves into little jars and bottles get out. I hope they appreciate us when we get them out.
Honestly, I thought the cat was going to eat the chipmunk, but it turns out the two of them were playing, probably the same game the squirrel and the dog were playing. I wonder what it’s called, and what the rules are.
I’ve never had a guinea pig; but gee, look how cute they are. I wonder if my cats would be kind to a guinea pig, like the cat in this video. Amazing, the number of creatures God has created for us to love.
WARNING: If you have an upstairs bedroom, and a water bed, it’s an exceedingly bad idea to let your pet guinea pig have the run of the room. I have seen the results of this, and they are highly disconcerting.
My favorite here is Lester the chipmunk, but there’s something here for everybody–dogs, cats, alpaca, chicken, cockatiel. No mud puppies, though.
That’s the thing about animals, all animals–you never can tell what they’ll do.
My iguana used to try to eat pictures of tomatoes and strawberries (he loved red food) if they happened to be decorating his dinner plate. I wonder what he would’ve done with an iPad.
You’ll want to stand up and cheer when you see what happens to the jidrool who tantalizes a frog with make-believe ants.
And please ignore the naughty chihuahua. I’m sure that wasn’t in the script.
Short but superb! Watch the light-grey hamster who keeps hopping into the big dish. And then see what he does next. He is obviously doing it on purpose. I think he likes it.
Do these little guys have a sense of fun, or what?
There’s something in here for everybody! My favorite is the sheep trying to herd the dogs. We’ve also got cats and dogs, birds and hamsters, a goat, and a tortoise who has, well, designs… on a flip-flop.
BTW, if you listen carefully, you will hear the turtle vocalizing. They said it couldn’t be done, but they were wrong.
Backyard trampolines aren’t really designed for anything quite this big–but try telling that to this bison. I wonder what he thought it was. Do you want to ask him, or shall I?
Daffy dogs, prancing ponies, bouncing birds, high-spirited horses, and one mad piglet–watch ’em unwind! Do animals know how to have fun, or what?
I wonder if frogs can do it, too. Maybe they just don’t show it.
Think of all the joy God made sure to include in His creation. It’s all God’s stuff, and it’s good for us.
You don’t think of sloths swimming, attempting to operate heavy machinery, or giving people gifts, but that’s what some of them are doing in this video. For critters who spend most of their lives hanging upside-down from tree branches, they have a lot going for them.
My wife has always loved baby sloths, but they aren’t really a practical choice as pets for an apartment in New Jersey.
