Here’s another hymn I never heard before–I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say, performed here by Joshua and Jeremy. Haunting melody, isn’t it? I wonder how it would sound with Johnny Cash singing it. I wonder how it’d sound with Joshua and Jeremy singing it.
It’s always a pleasure to post a hymn by our dear friends and colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy. Maybe someday we can get them to sing. Anyway, here they have one for us today: There Shall Be Showers of Blessings.
A Welsh hymn, performed in Japan, with an American audience–that’s the kind of thing that makes Christianity glorious.
Guide Us, O Thou Great Jehovah, performed by our friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy… very nice work, guys.
I came looking for a hymn to post this morning, and this was the first one to meet my eye–Day by Day, performed by our own dear friends and colleagues,. Joshua and Jeremy. (There should be lyrics here for you, but don’t blame me if there aren’t: that aspect of the business consistently baffles me.)
Our dear friends the Swanson Brothers have grown up right before our eyes–it didn’t seem to take any time at all!
Today they have for us This World Is Not My Home, with lyrics so you can sing along.
I couldn’t pass this up: Joshua and Jeremy, and When the Saints Go Marching In–with lyrics, so you can sing along.
Don’t be in the wrong parade when the saints go marching in.
No carol contest entries, no hymn requests, to start the day. But we do have a brand-new video from our friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy–Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence.
And Patty has gotten my stats page to work again, so let’s build up some stats!
Before my head explodes, courtesy of flaming computers, here’s a carol which I hope will calm me down–It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, performed by our dear friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy.
I love this hymn. One of my earliest memories: I’m sitting on Uncle Bernie’s lap, and this carol is playing somewhere in the house.
I remember we used to sing this hymn in Sunday school, come Thanksgiving-time. “We Gather Together to ask the Lord’s blessing…” We have our friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy, to play it for us today. Oh, this goes so far back for me!
