It’s been too long since I posted anything by our dear friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy Swanson. In The Sweet By and By is a special treat because they sing it, too.
I’d try a music video, only I can’t sing and play the harmonica at the same time.
This was the first hymn I ever taught myself to play on the harmonica. We have Joshua and Jeremy playing it for us on their guitars–O, Worship the King.
Still trying to figure out a way to get these two to sing…
Things get so confusing around here! Joshua’s birthday almost came and went–good thing we had someone up in the crows’ next.
Can we get Joshua to sing for his birthday?
Nope, can’t do it. So we have an instrumental with brother Jeremy, To God Be the Glory
Well, Joshua is 21 years old today, and we thank him and Jeremy for all the wonderful hymns they play for us throughout the year. Happy birthday, Joshua!
We don’t like to miss any videos by our friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy. If we cheer them on enough, maybe they’ll sing the hymns they play.
To God Be the Glory–and d’you know what I think? I think God really likes it when two or three of us, without any fanfare, get together and praise Him with a hymn. Just as a part of daily life! I think He really loves that.
Our dear friend and sister, Erlene, isn’t feeling well this morning, so please join in prayer for her. Meanwhile, she thought she’d like to hear this hymn, When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder. Our own friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy, have a hymn for us–At the Cross (Alas, and Did My Savior Bleed). Maybe if we cheered them on a little more, they’d sing these for us.

This is another hymn my mother and my aunts used to sing as they went about their housework. Here we have it by our dear friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy–Just As I Am (Without One Plea).
This hymn has been in my mind all morning, and I take that as a sign I ought to post it.
