The Homeowners’ Association–Boo! Hiss!

Ooh, ooh! Bottles of cold water! Somebody call the cops!

I was a reporter, years ago. I covered the suburbs, the developments, the local news that people cared about.

I cannot say that I have ever heard one favorable word about homeowners’ associations.

Why is that? Well, take a look at this story here.

They want to fine this guy for giving people free bottles of cold water. This is in Arizona, so you know people will be roasting from the heat. The man says he won’t pay the fines–so what comes next? Prison? A firing squad?

My parents lived in one of those gated communities. What a pain in the tuchas! The HOA was nothing but bullies and busybodies who loved to interfere in other people’s lives.

Get this. The homeowners voted 190-20 (!) to remove, depose, kick out, reject, and dump their homeowners’ association, adding all new members. But the current HOA dreamed up a laundry list of “reasons” why the vote didn’t count and they can just stay in power forever.

Folks, be unified, be strong! If you stand together, you can beat these jerks.

Here’s your choice–obey or die!

So far Our All-Wise, All-Glorious Rulers have told us they mean to take away our gas stoves, then our dishwashers, then our cars–remember, this is the gang that likes to call itself “pro-choice”–and whatever else they can think of. They don’t want us plebs living too high on the hog.

Big Brother’s Going to ‘Help’ Us

The end game, I think, is to take away even the very notion that we might ever have a choice about anything. They prey on us. Push it a little farther and they’d be eating us.

When are they coming for our air conditioners and our refrigerators?

All to Save The Planet, of course. Save it from normal people.

Colorado Mayor Bans Pledge of Allegiance

Silverton, Colorado, population 550, has made the national nooze this week! Surely for the first time in its history.

The mayor of the small town decided, all on his own with no input from the town council (they call them “trustees”), to “suspend”–meaning “ban”–the saying of the Pledge of Allegiance at public meetings (https://nypost.com/2021/06/22/pledge-of-allegiance-canceled-in-colorado-town-by-mayor-citing-threats/).

Where does he think he is? And who does he think he is?

A group of citizens, including one of the trustees, stood up and recited the pledge regardless. The mayor said he’d have them kicked out of the meeting if they did it again. ‘Cause they have a “one-strike policy.” Sounds like a substitute for thinking.

Why did the mayor ban the pledge?

Well, he said it was “divisive,” and cited various unnamed and undescribed “threats” inspired by the recitation of the pledge. That sounds like tommyrot to me. Does that sound like tommyrot to you?

Why should America be the host of parasites that hate her and want to bring her down? And say so! What other country does that? Some of these leftids ought to shuffle off to Pakistan and try their tricks out there.

Hating America should automatically bar you from governing as much as a square inch of America.
