She’s been in their crosshairs for many months.

Keep your eye on Europe. They’re doing what U.S. Democrats would do if they could.

The French government has jailed Marine Le Pen–a conservative who was, at the moment, the leading candidate in France’s current electoral season (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/03/here-we-go-again-frances-globalist-macron-regime/).

She has been banned from public office, banned for five years from seeking public office–all on what sounds very much like a trumped-up charge of embezzlement.

In December Rumania jailed its leading presidential candidate.

In Brazil former president Jair Bolsonaro has been imprisoned.

By their fruits you know them. Globalist politicians have no intention of allowing personal liberty to survive. Free speech is on its way out.

Meanwhile here in America, Democrats tried to jail President Donald Trump, and used repeated impeachments in an effort to bring him down.

If they ever get back in power, watch out.

“Emergency, emergency! Somebody said something I don’t like!”

President Donald Trump has his work cut out for him.

Eight states, 12 “jurisdictions” (cities, counties), now have “Bias Response Hotlines” which you can call and rat out anyone who has said anything that you find offensive (https://freebeacon.com/policy/inside-state-run-bias-response-hotlines-where-fellow-citizens-can-report-your-offensive-joke/). We would be astounded to discover that these, er, “protections” are to be extended to Christians or Republicans. Somehow it never, ever turns out that way.

“Offensive jokes” are on the menu–Oregon will pay for therapy for POCs and other frail characters who are offended–and state action is “based solely on the feelings of this offended.”

They avoid First Amendment violations by making out that remarks that are “offensive” may also be “non-criminal” and anyway they just wanna be sure nobody’s telling offensive jokes and getting away with it. They’re not going to through you in jail for telling a joke: but they will bother you. Gotta get your mind right, y’know.

It is estimated 100 million Americans live under such a regime–the Grand Crusade Against Hate.

God knows how many years it’ll take to get rid of it.

Let’s see… gas stoves, gas-powered cars, ceiling fans, beer and wine… What else does The Regime intend to take from us?

Really, how far do they mean to go? Children aren’t allowed to drive, or purchase alcoholic beverages, and probably they ought to be kept from operating stoves or ceiling fans. Those are adult things. Are we, as adults, to be forced back into childhood?

Meanwhile, the global government crowd wants to take our meat and make us eat bugs, and live in “15-minute cities” where you can’t drive anything but an electric car that you can’t afford.

And it’s all for our own good, right? Government knows best! We love Big Brother!

Massive, overwhelming, uncompromising civil disobedience–is that where we have to go, if we want to keep our liberty? Our very adulthood?

Early in the 18th century, about the only place in the world where individual liberty survived was on board a pirate vessel. By the end of that century, and by dint of fearless sacrifice, that changed. The United States was born, the Declaration of Independence enshrined, the Constitution ratified.

Let’s not give up on freedom now. It won’t be easy to get it back.

First the Coutts Bank, in the UK, shut down Nigel Farage’s accounts, to punish him for voicing skepticism of government COVID policy. The immediate backlash forced the Coutts CEO to resign… for “mishandling” the situation.

Now, here in America, and for the same reason, Dr. Joseph Mercola has been “de-banked” by JP Morgan Chase (https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2023/07/27/chase-shuts-down-bank-accounts-at-mercola.aspx). Not only him, but quite a few of his employees… and members of their families.

“This is what the new social credit system looks like,” Dr. Mercola said. China uses a “social credit system” to stifle its skeptics. Say the wrong thing, and you can’t buy food anymore.

Chase Bank has given no specific reason for its action… beyond “unusual activities,” undefined, and unspecified “legal reasons.”

Dr. Mercola has been a prominent questioner of government COVID-19 policies, for which he has been attacked by the New York Times as “the most influential spreader of Coronavirus.” 

Isn’t there some kind of law that says we have a right to question public policy without fear of getting crushed by government and its private-sector henchmen? Oh, yeah–it’s called the First Amendment. Apparently it doesn’t apply to Dr. Mercola, his employees, and their families. I wonder if their neighbors are safe? How about kids who went to school with Dr. Mercola when he was a boy? Really–where does this stop?

America’s most dangerous enemies are all home-grown.

I trust we understand this temptation: “Hey! Wouldn’t it be absolutely great if the common schlubs had only the rights we say they have from day to day? Wouldn’t it be great if we could just tread them down whenever we felt like it?”

The governments of the world succumbed to this temptation. It was The Great COVID Pandemic, and it made them drunk, roaring drunk, on a taste of unchecked power.

This is a dynamic of history: Someone is always trying to wipe out everybody else’s freedom. Usually it’s the people’s own government. It can be a foreign enemy, bent on conquest. Examples of both abound–now as much as ever. No sooner was the Internet invented than wannabe tyrants devised ways to use it against us.

New Democrat Buzzword! ‘Stochastic Terrorism’

This concept can best be illustrated by a fictional example.

Senator LaFong gives a speech criticizing our country’s trade with China. Somewhere in downtown Topeka, Kansas, Lenny Jidrool hears about the speech and decides to go out and shoot up a Chinese restaurant… which he does.

And presto! Sen. LaFong is guilty of “stochastic terrorism.”

“Stochastic,” a term borrowed from mathematics (because hardly anyone ever uses the word and has no idea what it means), has to do with events that are in very general terms predictable, but in specific terms, anything but. Thus you can be guilty of Stochastic Terrorism without ever having had any interaction with any terrorist anywhere. Heck, you can commit the crime without even knowing you were doing so.

A few points to be born in mind:

*Only Republicans can ever be guilty of Stochastic Terrorism. No Democrat will ever be prosecuted or even accused of it. You can say “George Bush blew up the World Trade Center!” till you’re blue in the face, and nothing will ever come of it.

*No member of any Cherished Minority Group can ever be guilty of Stochastic Terrorism.

*Virtually anything a conservative, a Christian, or a Republican says can be linked to some violent criminal action somewhere.

*Absolutely no proof of any kind is needed, ever, to accuse anyone of Stochastic Terrorism. Just make sure you remember that when Democrats or Cherished Minorities do the same things, it’s “restorative justice.”

Once you’ve got everybody thinking they can be shipped off to the gulag at a moment’s notice without understanding any reason for it, the Party will have an easy time keeping the plebs in line.

Canada Libs Want to ‘Regulate Private Communications’

Is it me, or is there something wrong with this sentence: Allowing private political communications to go unregulated by the government “erodes the foundations of democracy”? (https://spencerfernando.com/2022/07/06/liberal-government-now-looking-at-regulating-private-communications/)

Several characters in Canada’s wacko Liberal government have been calling for “regulation” of “private communications.” Well, gee, champ! Then they wouldn’t be private anymore, would they? So what you guys are really after is a way to stifle discussions of politics or anything else you want to stifle.

Yeahbut, yeahbut! What about all that misleading political communication? Huh? Huh? What about that?

These people are worse than contemptible. “Vile and silly” would be a big step up for them.

Meanwhile, they haven’t told us how they propose to regulate our private communications. Steam open our letters? Have some algorithm spy on every e-mail we send or receive? Hire ninjas to hide in people’s houses and report any “misinformation” they might hear you say over the supper table? Wow. If the ninjas are already lurking in your clothes hamper or under your bed, they can kill you as soon as the government orders it. Really, Canada has done without competent ninja service for way too long.

Will you need a permit to hold a private conversation?

Has freedom itself ever been at greater risk, in this fallen world, than it is today?

I remember being scared of Cardinal Richelieu in Three Musketeers movies. He had all this power and he only moved in the shadows, pulling strings from a distance, condemning persons to death who never heard of him and had no idea what they’d done wrong.

Sort of an early avatar of our own Deep State.

Sometimes in a fallen world the state, authorized by God to protect its people from those who would harm them, has to resort to secrecy to carry out its mission. I don’t know how this moral distinction puzzles them: It’s okay to spy on the Chicoms. It’s not okay to spy on Americans at school board meetings.

Do we need a state to protect us from the state?
