So You Still Believe in Public Education?

I dunno, maybe Americans want their kids to be educated by clowns.

Well, for anyone who might actually be swayed by evidence, here is Exhibit 906 million in the Case Against Public Education: “School Forces 5-Year-Old Girl To Sign ‘Suicide Contract’ After An Incident With A Crayon” ( http://2ndamendmentinsider.com/youll-be-disgusted-when-you-discover-the-reason-a-school-forced-a-5-year-old-to-sign-a-suicide-contract/ ).

Yup. A little girl, feeling playful, pointed a crayon at another kid and said something like “poo-poo.” So of course the idiots running the school dragged her off and first “made her take a questionnaire to evaluate her for suicidal thought”–what???–and then had her sign a “safety contract” promising to contact an adult if she was thinking of suicide or homicide. “This all happened while her mom waited in the lobby to pick her up, the upset parent told WPMI,” a radio station in Alabama.

Alabama? But that’s a red state!

The same teacher unions control the public schools in all 50 states. Your child might as well be going to school in Massachusetts.

The child’s mother said “school officials recommended the 5-year-old see a psychiatrist,” WPMI reported.

These are the people you want educating your children? Really? You know, don’t you, that now this child has been marked up as “a suicide risk,” which is going to stay on her record until Doomsday?

More than any other single factor, more so even than what we shamelessly call our politics, public education is responsible for the shambles that America is turning into.

There is no acceptable excuse, morally, for sending one’s child to the public schools.

And Furthermore…

This business with the Sayreville High School football team raises two more questions in my mind.

How in the world did this happen more than once?

And how was it kept a secret from the student body?

Just askin’.

High School Football Scandal: Just What You’d Expect

Today’s public school outrage: Sayreville High School, in New Jersey, has canceled its football season this week, in response to allegations that upperclassmen on the football team sexually abused freshmen players.

This is a Christian blog site, so if you want the gory details, you’ll have to read the newspaper article ( http://www.dailyrecord.com/story/news/local/2014/10/08/sayreville-football-scandal/16915427/ ).

After you read it, you may wonder, “Gee, where do kids get the idea to do such degrading and potentially dangerous things?”

From their public schools, that’s where.

Here is an article I wrote four years ago about a New Jersey Sex Education Conference attended by hundreds of sex ed teachers ( http://chalcedon.edu/research/articles/when-sex-education-turns-into-pornography/ ). The featured attraction at the conference was “Healthy Endings: A Workshop in Anal Health and Sexual Safety.” There were a lot of booths selling “sex toys.” And it was all about educating children.

What the Sayreville football players allegedly did to younger players in the locker room is only what you would expect them to do after being “educated” by “teachers” who attended that conference.

Parents need to re-think their kids being in the public schools.

Folks, it’s every bit as bad as we’re saying it is. You can easily check the information and confirm that it’s true.

Meanwhile, I’ll bet dollars to doughnuts that, even if Sayreville High School’s football program bites the dust, “sex education” there will survive and flourish.

They’re Killing Childrens’ Souls

So you still want your children in the public schools?

At the Lincoln Public Schools, in Nebraska, teachers have been ordered to stop using “gendered expressions”–like, for instance, calling boys and girls “boys and girls”–and instead using “gender inclusive” gibberish–like calling them “purple penguins” ( http://m.nationalreview.com/article/389862/school-told-call-kids-purple-penguins-because-boys-and-girls-not-inclusive ).

The Lincoln schools are following “12 steps on the way to gender inclusiveness,” a program of induced insanity and wickedness developed by the wackos at Gender Spectrum.

A few years ago, this cropped up in schools in British Columbia. Certain of my esteemed colleagues insisted it would never happen here. Well, now it’s here.

Please do not feel secure if you live in a Red State like Nebraska, or a county governed by conservative Republicans. The same teachers’ unions run the schools in all 50 states.

And now they want to teach your children that it’s wrong to think in terms of “man and woman” (Male and female created He them, Genesis 1:27), and to train them to “Point out and inquire when you hear others referencing gender in a binary manner… Ask things like…’What makes you say that?’…Provide counter-narratives that challenge students to think more expansively about their notions of gender.”

This is for the benefit of poor warped souls who have bits of their anatomy lopped off, and have themselves shot up with hormones, so they can say they are of another sex than the one into which they were born. For the sake of this microscopically small constituency, we are expected to turn our whole culture upside-down, and our own minds inside-out, and abandon our religion.

If you don’t have this in your own public school district yet, be assured: it’s coming, and sooner than you think.

All Christians who continue to send their children to public schools are, whether they know it or not, accomplices of the teacher unions, and complicit in their crimes.

By the time these people get done “educating” a child, will he or she still have a soul?

Your Tuition Dollars at Work: University Pries into Students’ Sex Lives

As part of some kind of administrative shell game, one of our great universities–Clemson U., in the not-as-red-as-you-thought state of South Carolina–has brought forth a survey demanding details of its respondents’ sex lives. Completion of the survey was mandatory for all students, faculty, and staff ( http://www.campusreform.org/?ID=5923 ).

Update attached: Having been found out, Clemson has suspended this requirement.

Well, what was it worth? What kind of schmo tells nosy bureaucrats the truth about his sex life?

One question, for instance, asked, “How many times have you had sex (including oral) in the last 3 months?”

Here are some possible answers, none of which can be proved either true or false.

“Oh, gee–I wasn’t counting!”

“Roughly 20 times a day. That’s the price I pay for being a chick magnet.”

“More times than you, dude.”

Individuals committed to sexual purity might choose to lie, reckoning that if you tried to tell these humanists that you have not had sex outside of marriage, they will think there’s something subversive about you and maybe kick you out of college.

The answer you were not allowed to give was “None of your @#$%$ business, you perverted creep.”

There being absolutely no way to verify the information received, of what possible use was such a survey?

The modern university–where minds and morals go to die.

DC School Assigns Kids to Compare Bush to Hitler

What more can we say of public education? Never in the field of human endeavor has so much money been spent for so little.

Today’s public schooling scandal comes to us from Washington, D.C., where 6th-graders at McKinley Middle School were assigned to write an essay comparing President George W. Bush–whom most Americans voted for–to Adolf Hitler ( http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/09/11/sixth-grade-school-assignment-ask-students-to-compare-bush-to-hitler/?icid=maing-grid7%7Clegacy%7Cdl24%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D527957 ).

Gee, I wonder what people would think if I were a public school teacher and I asked my 6th-graders to write an essay comparing the current occupant of the White House to a hollowed-out pumpkin going rotten. But I digress.

The head honcho of the DC public schools, Chancellor Kaya Henderson, dealt with the controversy by posting this gem on Twitter. On Twitter, mind you:

“No DPCS curriculum says 2 make these comparisons in any way. Teacher used poor judgment & will apologize.”

It’s almost worth having the problem, to get a chance to read such deathless prose.

Anyhow, the old “Bush = Hitler” formula, so dear to the hearts of liberal amoebas, is not exactly hard to find among public “educators.” It’s certainly easier to find than something like “Speed = Distance/Time,” or “Area = Length X Width.” Unionized teachers can’t be bothered with that old stuff. They are (trumpet fanfare, please) change agents, out to fundamentally transform America into a workers’ paradise by turning whole generations of children into idiots.

Will the teacher who cooked up this assignment be fired?

Now that really is a stupid question!

Coming Soon to Your School: Meatless Monday

It’s less than two weeks into the new public school year, and we’ve already got a nice controversy: “Meatless Monday” ( http://www.kvue.com/story/news/local/community/2014/09/08/elementary-schools-join-meatless-monday-movement/15299237/ ).

It’s another one of those soft-core Maoist impositions so dear to the hearts of so-called educators.

First they claim kids and parents are breaking down the cafeteria doors, demanding more vegetarian school lunches. Why they expect anyone to believe that, go figure. Then they tell us that going without meat will “improve the health of the planet.” What the dickens is that supposed to mean? The continents are going to start slip-sliding all over because kids are eating meat? The atmosphere’s gonna fly off into space? Like if “the planet” was really, truly “sick,” a bunch of dopy vegetarians could heal it? But it’s all just gibberish.

The next step is to describe “Meatless Monday” as a “movement.” If you can swallow that without choking, they will tell you that all they mean to do is to “encourage” people to skip meat once a week.

Here’s where the Stalinist part comes in. How do these meddling, schoolmarmy lefties propose to “encourage” kids to abstain from meat?

By withholding it from them! Yowsah, yowsah–you can’t eat meat if you just can’t get any! Sort of like the way the Soviet Union used to “encourage” farmers to form collectives. “See, comrade–the children have all chosen not to eat any meat today.” Because there ain’t any!

Finally, they reassure you that “it’s only for one day a week.” Uh-huh. And if you don’t like it in the collective, you can always go back to your own farm.

Look, you want these public school Mugabe wannabes to educate, feed, recreate, and be mother and father to your children, so you can be free to do whatever–well, they’re going to want something in return, aren’t they?

The price we pay for “free” public education is the children’s souls.

Your Public Education Dollars at Work

Here’s what’s left of one of them…

I keep running into these people who say the human race was sort of custom-crafted by wise beings, Annunaki, who came from Orion.

Given that the USA spends more on public education in a year than the entire Gross Domestic Product of many a fair-sized country, you’d kind of expect results that are somewhat better than ridiculous.

The Annunaki crowd is all over the Internet. Believe it or not, there’s one character who thinks centaurs may have been real, after all–the result of a bio-engineering project by the Annunaki, seeking to hybridize humans and horses to create a race of super-warriors…

How much public money was spent on this person’s so-called “education”?

No one dares give us a figure for the annual cost of public education in America. Back in Ronald Reagan’s time, they were guessing that it was well over half a trillion bucks a year, at least. That was way before there were any $100.000+-a-year schoolteachers retiring at 55 with lifetime pensions.

And still they crank out people who can’t understand that there’s no such place as “Orion”! It’s a constellation! It doesn’t really exist! The pattern of those stars isn’t even really a pattern at all–it only looks that way to us because we happen to be viewing it from Earth. Those three stars in Orion’s belt aren’t really all lined up in space. They are inconceivably far apart. They only look like they’re lined up in a row!

If there is no such place as Orion, then it is not possible that any superhuman Space Brothers could have come from there.

“Huh? You mean the Annunaki didn’t create the centaurs? Like, the centaurs were just there like the other animals?”

So you’re living at home with Mom, can’t find a job, and you’ve got a degree in Women’s Studies and $100,000 in student debt (heckuva kick-start, that, don’tcha think?)… and for all that education, you still can’t recognize sheer twaddle when you see it?

They reproduce. They vote. Eeeeyaaaah!

Teen Suspended from School for Saying ‘Bless You’

Some of you have already sent your children back to school–public school, that is. You really do need to ask yourselves, “What have I done?”

Here is the latest of thousands of isolated incidents from all over the country: a high school girl in Dyer County, Alabama, was suspended because she said “Bless you” when a classmate sneezed ( http://www.momdot.com/in-school-suspension-for-saying-bless-you-after-a-sneeze-for-real/ ).

Saying “Bless you” after a sneeze is hardly the Sermon on the Mount. But to the wacko from the teachers’ union who was in charge of that class, “Bless you” is forbidden. “We will not have Godly speaking in my class!” said this tormented soul.

You don’t have to live in a blue state for your kids to get a blue state education. The teachers’ unions control public education in all 50 states.

What is it with schoolteachers anymore? Last school year, one of them called police because a kid was playing hangman. Now we’ve got one flying off the handle because a kid said “Bless you.” Who can guess what the reaction would have been to “Gesundheit”?

How do they come up with such a steady supply of kooks to put in front of classrooms? Do you have to prove you’re abnormal, before they’ll give you a teaching certificate?

But the bigger question is to Christian parents who insist on sending their children to these schools: What do you think you’re doing?

Meanwhile, I wish I had a nickle for every time I heard some polyp on the Left snarling about “you Christians trying to impose your beliefs on everyone!” That’s projection. These are facts:

Atheists get to impose their beliefs on everybody else (and so do militant homosexuals).

Christians don’t. Not ever.

And it all starts in the public schools–done on purpose, by the teachers’ unions.

How the President’s Wife Meddles with Your Child’s Lunch

It’s a sin to waste food. It shows unthankfulness to God, and un-sympathy for those of the human family who suffer from want of food.

Now, thanks to the Worst Lady and other meddlers, this sin is to be cultivated among children in our public schools, in addition to the sins which those schools already encourage, like lust and envy. When they aren’t being taught to experiment with assorted kinds of fornication, or to hate persons who are more successful than left-wing politicians and academics think they ought to be, the kiddies will learn to waste perfectly good vittles rather than have them crammed down their throats by food fascists in Washington.

Yea, verily, it has been decreed by our glorious president’s wife that, from now on, ye shall eat only what she and the holy government priesthood decide what’s good for you. Selah.

It’s the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act. Who could possibly be against anything like that?

The kids who are told they have to eat this stuff.

I’ve taught in public schools. I’ve seen how kids in the cafeteria scarf down cake, cookies, candy and soda instead of real food. I admit it’s a problem–but not a problem that can be solved by high-and-mighty nabobs trying to force kids to eat healthy, low-calory, not very filling foods.

The kids rebel, refuse to eat the government health-food, and it winds up in the garbage can.

Mass institutionalization of children has never been a good idea, and this new tofu-and-lettuce jihad is only the latest example of how it doesn’t work. Short of tying the kids down and force-feeding them, it’ll never work.

So don’t sell all that junk in school! Get rid of the vending machines. And don’t confront the kids with a lot of la-dee-dah prepackaged lunches that they don’t want to eat. You could even be really revolutionary and leave it up to parents to send their kids to school with lunches made at home.

Everything this administration touches turns to trash. And if God is pleased by this massive waste and disrespect of food, you can knock me over with a feather.
