Bishop to School: Move It Or Lose It

School's Catholic Title in Peril Over Pride and Black Lives Matter Flags - The New York Times

We have often wondered why Catholic bishops allow Catholic schools and colleges to proliferate anti-Catholic teachings.

But in Worcester, Massachusetts, Bishop Robert McManus has said “Enough!”

The Nativity School of Worcester has been flying “Black Lives Matter” and “LGBTQ” flags (to “show solidarity with minorities,” “school officials” say). The bishop said the flags have to come down–because they express positions contrary to Catholic faith and doctrine. “School officials” defied the bishop; so the bishop said fine, be that way–you’re not a Catholic school anymore (https://thehill.com/changing-america/respect/equality/3527790-bishop-says-school-flying-blm-lgbtq-flags-can-no-longer-call-itself-catholic/).

The school has been cut off from mass, any and all sacraments, and fund-raising fellowship with other Catholic schools.

Stand up and salute Bishop McManus! He has done a thing that’s needed doing for quite a lot time. I mean, is it so much to ask that Catholic schools adhere to Catholic teaching?

And now, of course, the bishop is being called “racist,” a word that no longer has any meaning, because he won’t fly the “queer and trans-affirming” BLM flag.

Once upon a time a bishop would have torn it down with his own hands.

It’s time the churches started remembering how to be churches.

Good News: School ‘Equity’ Policy Nixed by Federal Judge

The Camden Enrollment System has a Thumb on the Scale | Stephen Danley | Rutgers University

Not that anybody really, truly needed a judge to tell us so, but as of last week, it’s official: the Fairfax County (Virginia) school board’s “equity policy” is, a federal court judge declared, “flatly illegal” (https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/4046322/posts).

What do schoolies mean by “equity”?

Well, in this case, “equity” means that wherever school officials find any group of whoever “under-represented” or “over-represented” in any aspect of school life, it’s probably the result of [trumpet fanfare] Systemic Racism–and it requires “positive” racial discrimination to correct it. For instance, if Asian kids make up, say, 15% of your student population, but 45% of your Advanced Placement science students–well hell’s bells, we can’t have that!!! Gotta weed some o’ them Asians out of AP! And replace them with kids who aren’t anywhere near as qualified… so then you’ve got to lower the standards and here we go again…

The judge issued a summary judgment against the schools’ “equity” baloney.

That means they have to stop.

Remember–it’s only “racism” when we do it! When they do it, it’s “equity.”

Down with public education. Make it go away.

Firefox is Nagging Me

Nagging - Just My Little Way of Saying "I Love You" - Real ...

All I wanted to do was post a picture. But I had to pass through the Firefox search page on the way; and they had this little message waiting for me.

“Educating ourselves is how we can begin dismantling systemic racism.”

This is supposed to make me feel guilty. I don’t know about you, but getting nagged, yelled at, called names, and blamed for things I didn’t do does not make me feel guilty. It only makes me mad.

They can take their “systemic racism” and stick it where the sun don’t shine.
