The Good Guys Win One!

Is it a college or a POW camp? Only “educators” know for sure.

Here’s what the board president at Bakersfield Community College, California (where else?), had to say about conservative members of the teaching staff:

“That’s why we put a rope on them and take them to the slaughterhouse.”

A conservative professor who was sacked and smeared for opinions falsely attributed to him by the leftids on the board has won a $2.4 million lawsuit against the college (https://www.campusreform.org/article/conservative-prof-wins-24-million-settlement-free-speech-lawsuit/26038). He had to agree not to keep his job, but after all this, why would he have wanted to? He’s now a millionaire.

The college settled because a bigger and more expensive lawsuit was in the works. It took five years to sort out this one.

What the heck, they only hate you and fantasize about killing you. They call it higher education.

 

GOP Mulls Defunding Universities

So… is enough enough already?

Republicans in Congress, led by Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) are talking up a plan to defund colleges and universities for allowing and encouraging antisemitic speech and rioting, the whole ball of wax (https://www.cnbc.com/2023/12/18/ivy-league-crackdown-house-republicans-plan-to-defund-top-universities.html).

It’s about time! In 2021 Harvard received $625 million in federal funds–in other words, taxpayer money. And what are we getting for this? It only hurts when I laugh.

Banks has a three-stage plan: defunding assorted elite colleges would be the climax. The public is getting a bit tired of anti-Israel “encampments” rallied by non-students and Far Left professors. Harvard, Penn State, and MIT are already under investigation: that’s Stage One. Stage Two is more subpoenas.

Of course, this has little chance of going forward with Democrats in charge of the Senate and an almost 50-50 House. But that could change, big-time, if President Donald Trump is returned to the White House by the voters.

We are getting fed up, though: that’s a fact.

It appalls me, how easily one little germ of howling stupidity–for instance, a buzzword like “pregnant people”–with blinding speed infects our whole culture and now you see and here the stupid **** everywhere you turn.

All this–with the costliest and most intrusive “education” system in world history!
