Get Your Kids Out While You Can

How to handle an anti-vaccine protest against schools - Los Angeles Times

Oh yes they are! Ask any “educator.”

The Chico school district, in California, came up with a “transgender” policy that’s radically different from those of other school districts.Chico requires teachers to notify parents (gasp!) of children who show an interest in “changing their gender.”

So naturally the State of California is suing them (https://nypost.com/2023/08/29/california-sues-schools-over-policy-outing-trans-students/) for “outing” these students…to their parents. “Privacy issues,” don’tcha know.

Well, this has been cooking all year and it’s finally come out of the oven as a lawsuit. They want to force Chico schools to conceal children’s sexual confusion from their parents–as if the parents weren’t parents at all, but merely low-ranking stand-ins for unionized “teachers.” As if the parents had no rights, no rights at all, in their own children.

Question: why do we tolerate this? Were we always so worthy of contempt and disrespect?

They’re going to keep on doing these things to us for as long as we keep our children in the public schools.

Steal our freedom? Steal our families first–and everything else will follow.

An empty classroom–the only thing that’ll stop the teachers’ unions

[Thanks to Susan for the nooze tip]

Boy, can Americans take abuse from their public employees! If only there were a constructive use for it…

When a 5th-grader’s mother objected to a gay-grooming Disney film that was shown in her child’s classroom, the, um, “teacher” was moved to remind her that “parental rights are gone” once your kiddie’s in a public school (https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2023/05/16/florida-5th-grade-teacher-parental-rights-are-gone-when-your-child-is-in-the-public-school-system/). As to the parent’s objections, the teacher dismissed them: “She’s ignorant.” Just shut up and pay your school tax, plebs! We’ll groom your children for sex and you’d better learn to like it.

This incident occurred in Florida, where the legislature is actually trying to protect families from the ravages of the teachers’ unions. Imagine what it must be like in Blue states.

How about it, parents? Do you agree your rights are gone, the moment your child enters public school?

The only meaningful response to this, the only action that can have any effect, is to withdraw millions of Christian children from the public schools. Pull ’em all out! And see how long the teachers’ unions can get by with empty classrooms.

‘Law Prof “Debunks” Parental Rights’ (2017)

I’m running this again because I’m putting together an argument for Newswithviews: to wit, that our ruling class is so estranged, so alienated from the American people that they might as well be space aliens.

This guy, for instance.

Law Prof ‘Debunks’ Parental Rights

Let’s see… They’re telling us that some people shouldn’t be parents… Therefore in each and every case, the state should have supreme authority over each and every individual… because somehow, in this poobah’s mind, government existed before anybody ever had a baby. So you have no natural right to your own children. You have only what the state is willing to grant you.

And who is the state?

A bunch of aliens like him!

Humanism–the worship of monsters

I keep telling you there’s no one as anti-human as a humanist. Here’s yet another example of it.

One James Dwyer, a law professor at William & Mary College and a big wheel in the family court business, in a recent interview with Michelle Malkin, said there is “no inherent right” to parent one’s own children (http://medicalkidnap.com/2017/09/12/law-professor-attacks-homeschoolers-believes-state-should-choose-parents-for-babies/). Indeed, he went further than that. In this quote, he seems to deny the biological reality of parenthood:

“The reason that parent-child relationship exists is because the state confers legal parenthood on people through its paternity and maternity laws.”

Gee, getting born to someone has nothing to do with it. I didn’t know that! Did you?

In 1994 this blot on the cultural landscape wrote “Debunking the Doctrine of Parents’ Rights,” published by the California Law Review. So you see, he’s not just some kook on a leftid blog. He is a respected member of the legal profession with rather more clout than most.

Oh, and he really hates homeschooling, too. Being educated by your parents, who love you, rather than by strangers and ideologues employed by the state, who are in it for the pension, violates your rights as a child. I don’t quite see that, but then I’m not a prestigious member of the law community.

Again, these people may seem funny, their positions laughable, their self-importance comical. But if they ever acquired the power to do the things they want to us, that wouldn’t be funny at all.

Laugh them off the stage while they’re still funny.
