This is one of my favorite hymns, going all the way back to Sunday school: O Worship the King, sung here by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band.
(Break in the rain; I think I can sit outside for a bit.)

We know God through the work of His hands, the beauties of nature–all of His creation, all under His care.
A Sunday school favorite: This Is My Father’s World, sung by Fernando Ortega. Background sets by God the Father.
It’s been a long time since I last posted this hymn: Faith of Our Fathers, a Sunday school staple. Good Lord, we even sang it in high school, in assembly! Try getting that done now…
Sung here by students at Fountainview Academy.
It’s been ages and ages since I’ve heard this hymn, Living for Jesus. But this morning I had a craving for it–and imagine how surprised I was, that I remembered the words. Definitely a real Sunday school favorite!
Ai-ya! Another week of nooze stretches out in front of me. Harvest-time seems far away.
Tennessee Ernie Ford sings Bringing in the Sheaves, an old Sunday school favorite. I knew the hymn by heart before I know what “sheaves” were.
This is one of Patty’s favorite hymns, she asked me to post it, so here it is–Beautiful Savior (also called Fairest Lord Jesus), sung by the Oasis Chorale. It’s a Sunday school favorite in many churches.
This was the first hymn that came into my head today–I Sing the Mighty Power of God, by Isaac Watts in 1715 and still going strong today. I’ll always remember it as a Sunday school favorite. Sung here by the Mountain Anthems.
Requested by Thewhiterabbit, sung by Rosemary Siemens: Yes, Jesus Loves Me.
This was the first hymn I ever learned to sing, going all the way back to Sunday school with toys and a sandbox. All those years ago…
No hymn requests today, not yet (and we are freezing our Climbit Chainge butts off), so let’s go with this: This Is My Father’s World, sung by students at Fountainview Academy.
This is my Father’s world: O let me ne’er forget
That tho’ the wrong seem oft so strong,
God is the ruler yet.
I loved this hymn in Sunday school: one of the first hymns I learned to play on my harmonica: O Worship the King, performed here by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band.
