‘Juneteenth’ on the Ropes

It was supposed to be a celebration of the end of slavery in America, in 1865; and they called it “Juneteenth.”

Now it seems to be fading away–supposedly due to lack of funding. They say the funding’s drving up (https://www.huffpost.com/entry/juneteenth-sponsorships_n_6850089be4b07f75743aa8de).

At the same time, donations seem to be drying up for Homosexual “Pride” Month (what they’re “proud” of continues to elude me).

Is America coming back to her senses? Finally, at last, thank the Lord–sweeping out all that “diversity” crapola? Are we finally coming out of it?

I pray so. The 21st Century is a dangerous time… and certainly no time for indulging idiotic fancies.

Hey! How about a $93,000 a year per pupil cost? Go to the nearest public school and learn diddly squad (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/06/declining-enrollment-leaves-150-chicago-school-buildings-half/).

That’s Chicago, pilgrims. Chicago’s schools are half empty (we mean it literally), the costs are going into the stratosphere, and no one’s doing anything to dial it back.

They’re blaming it on “lower birth rates.” Later on I have a bridge to sell you. Or you can buy it from the American Federation of Teachers, the big bad union on the block. Somehow none of this seems to have upset the teachers’ unions. Like, they’re gonna get their money and their pensions anyhow, come what may–right?

So 150 school buildings in Chicago are now half-empty…and the cost of keeping them in business goes up and up and up.

Teacher Union Chief Randi Weingarten Resigns From DNC Position and People Have Questions

Here’s something I’ll betcha didn’t know! For 23 years, the head capo of America’s most powerful teachers’ union (the American Federation of Teachers) also sat on the Democrat National Committee. She has only resigned this week, citing “disagreement” with the new union president.

During those 23 years, the union NEVER failed to deliver to the Democrat Party less than 98% of its campaign contributions.

(Hey, what’s that smell? Something smells funny here…)

So what was the teachers’ union president doing on the DNC in the first place?

Isn’t it obvious? M-O-N-E-Y. Union dues flowed into the Democrat campaign chest; legislation favorable to the union flowed out.

Why does it seem like Long John Silver should be narrating this nooze item?

The Senate Judiciary Committee is investigating charges by the FBI director that Communist China printed up thousands of fake drivers’ licenses to generate fraudulent votes for Joe Biden in the 2020 national elections (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/alleged-chinese-scheme-influence-2020-election-biden-being-probed-fbi-senate-judiciary-committee).

Director Kash Patel has turned the documents over to the subcommittee. “Tens of thousands of mail-in votes”–was this an act of war? “The supreme art of war is to win without fighting,” Sun Tzu preached to the rulers of China. Why send troops to do a job that phony ballots can do?

The Chinese also mined voter information from “millions of Tik-Tok accounts,” Patel said.

Were these votes actually cast in the election?

Don’t hold your breath waiting for the answer to that question.

Wow! Iran’s air defense shot down an Israeli jet and captured the pilot!

Oops, check that. It was footage taken from a video game, “Arma 3” (https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/iran-news/article-857842). It was fake.

Worse than fake: the model was of a Russian jet, not Israeli. The video company says its products are “routinely weaponized.”

Reports are that Iran is already getting tired off this war it started.

Someone should’ve told ’em that there’s a point where you need real fighter planes, not toys.

Here they are! America’s “educators.” Our teachers’ unions… glued to our paychecks like leeches. Their queen bee, Randi (sic) Weingarten sits squinting in the middle.

“No Kings.” What the dickens does that even mean? It was no Republican who once said “Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Cool!”

What are they thinking? “If we play our cards just right, the American people will rally behind us and cut off Trump’s head and Kamalalalala can be president and AT LAST we will have socialism!!!” Is that what’s swirling around in their otherwise dust-choked crania?

So who’s “teaching” your children?

Remember when public school teachers used to be… well, normal?

In Washington State, they’ve got a high school teacher who pastes a motto on his back-pack: “This Teacher Kills Fascists.” He used to be a principal, but got demoted after he was busted for reckless driving (https://www.thecollegefix.com/school-district-backs-teacher-who-posted-this-teacher-kills-fascists-on-social-media/).

Which particular “fascists,” we might ask, has this nudnick actually “killed”? Meanwhile, he loudly proclaims he”s “WOKE” through and through and fully committed to “DEI” (“Diversity, Equity, Inclusion). And he’s got a fair amount of company among his colleagues.

Is this the kind of clown we permit to, uh, “educate” our children? Do we get to sue the school administration if some problem student takes the message literally and murders someone he deems a “fascist”?

And please, no crapola about free speech. We know what teachers’ unions think of that. You can preach jihad against Republicans; but heaven help you if you are a Republican.

They suck the money out of our paychecks and use it to pay these Far Left babbling schnooks, plus bloated retirement packages, tons of vacation time, and anything else they want.

We are fools to allow this.

Dems Boot Hogg (For Now)

The 25-year-old wunderkind of the Democrat Party, David Hogg, has been forced out of his position as vice chair of the Democrat National Committee (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/democratic-party-ready-leave-david-hogg-drama-dust). Shakespeare would have written “Out, damned spot!”

Hogg lost no time in attacking senior members of his party–too old, dontcha know: just not with it. He’d hardly warmed the seat when the Party called for an election do-over to get rid of Hogg–and his co-chair, “Malcolm Kenyatta” (they’re kidding, right? Please say they’re kidding).

So they’re gonna have the do-over election, because, in the words of one DNC bigwig, “[Hogg] knows he has caused way too much drama.” He and “Kenyatta” have also been blamed for torpedoing the current chairman’s position before the poor schlubb could get his act together.

Chin up, comrade. No one wanted to see the act anyway.

Does this look like a safe and sensible way to cross the English Channel? No? Well, then, how about this?

You’d think Britain would know better, having been clobbered by invaders throughout history. The Romans. Jutes and Saxons and Angles. Irish. Normans. And so on.

Left-wing governments seem only too willing for anyone who wants to, to pile into the country in unrestricted, mostly illegal, immigration. It doesn’t look to me like the U.K. will make it to the next century. How does it look to you?

It’s so depressingly reminiscent of the drawn-out, shameful end of the Roman Empire in the West.

We Missed the LA Riots

Patty and I have been too sick to pay much attention to the nooze, so we missed most of the reporting on the recent (and ongoing) Los Angeles riots.

But there’s one thing I’m pretty sure I can say with certainty.

Somebody is going to emerge from this battered and bruised, sunk into submission; and someone else is going to wind up standing over the rubble and muttering, “I told ’em what would happen if they did this.”

It looks to me like the Democrat Party has placed all its bets on the rioters.

And will someone please explain to me why illegal immigrants insist on waving the Mexican flag? Like, if Mexico’s so great, what are you doing here?
