Coming Soon, to a Campus Near You… Democrat Civil War?

A gallery of gavones. Coast-to coast fiddle-faddle. An encyclopedia of twitsters.

Why do we wind up despising Democrat politicians? I mean, really, are they quite that bad? Quite that insufferable? “‘Fraid so, kid.”

But–! Looks like it’s beginning to dawn on them that they can’t expect to win people over by spitting on their shoes. But (again!)–they think they CAN! Just fine-tune the language and bob’s your uncle. They’ve got a list of some 40-plus buzzwords that they say they have to stop using.

Just one thing I’d like to know:

How do we make them go away?

Dancing into Oblivion?

You’ve gotta see the first couple minutes of this video: Democrats, some of them fairly prominent, dancing a “protest dance” to show President Donald Trump who’s boss. [Commentary by Judge Jeanine Pirro and Fox News panel]

Have these Democrats been chewing on the loco-weed again? They do understand that if they want to run the country, they have to persuade most people to vote for them… don’t they? And that voters won’t support them if they act and talk like lunatics.

A small contingent within the Party argues that, at best, Democrats will have to deceive the public and change their image: no more Way Far Left Crazy. But a bigger contingent wants to double down on the Far Left stuff. Open borders! Schools that push transgender! Huge enormous big government! Censorship! Yeah… they want to keep trying to ram their fun-pack down our throats.

And now they’ve got a dance for it.

Heaven help me, I know people who will vote for these chuckleheads, dance and all.

‘Progressive’ Poll: People Don’t Like ‘Progressive’ Policies

The Reliably Racist Cherry-Picking of the Word “Riot” – Mother Jones

“Progressive agenda” in action!

From open borders to Critical Race Theory, from Transgender to high taxes, from identity politics to unlimited abortion… most people just don’t like “progressive” policies–according to a poll of 60,000 voters taken by a bunch of libs at the Winning Jobs Narrative Project (https://freebeacon.com/latest-news/progressive-pollster-finds-that-people-oppose-progressive-policies/).

Well, duhhhh! People don’t like those policies? Schiff, you could’ve knocked me over with a feather!

The pollsters warn their “progressive” clients that they’ll have to start sounding more like Republicans or they’re going to get clobbered in the next election.

The pollsters swear they’re dedicated to “advancing a progressive agenda.” How? By lying about it? By springing it on the public only after they’re elected? Nowhere do they offer a hint as to just what, exactly, a “progressive agenda” is. Because they know they have to keep quiet about that!

I can understand how they might be a little bit confused. After all, Far Left Crazies own the federal government, the schools and colleges, Blue states (lock, stock, and barrel), Hollywood, the nooze media, and have plenty of their stooges in office everywhere, working for the progressive agenda and turning the country into a basket case. How do they achieve all that if the people aren’t on their side?

Do you really need anyone to answer that question for you?

Do Dead Men Tell No Tales?

14 Things You Didn't Know About Anthony Bourdain - Anthony Bourdain Facts

How’s this for an alarming bit of nooze? “[A] documentary filmmaker used voice-cloning software to make the late chef Anthony Bourdain say words he never spoke” (https://www.pressreader.com/usa/the-columbus-dispatch/20210718/281629603285103).

Oh, it was only “a snippet of dialogue,” says the filmmaker. But it’s still managed to inspire a major ethics flap–as well it should.

Bourdain died in 2018; and of course the dead can’t defend themselves, and can’t explain or elaborate upon words put in their mouths by others. We can easily see where this might lead.

“Hi! I’m Ronald Reagan–and I just want to confess to you that all that stuff I used to say about limiting the power of the government, peace through strength, etc.–well, it was all a load of bull. I never meant a word of it! But once I started deceiving the American people, I just couldn’t give it up!”

(“But I saw the video on YouTube! He really did say that!”)

Or we might hear Phyllis Schlafly saying she only opposed the Equal Rights Amendment because she wanted America to be The Handmaid’s Tale. The opportunities for mischief are unlimited.

Little snippets of dialogue. Hot dog.

Dennis Praeger says truth has no value for the Left. He’s right: putting words in the mouths of the dead would be only another tool for them to advance their agenda.

We already have way too much lying going on. We can’t say which would be worse–for people to believe the lies, and base public policy on them; or for the people to learn that they can’t believe anything they hear from anyone.

Cut a society loose from God and see what happens.

It won’t be good.

Nashville Bigwigs Cover Up Low COVID-19 Count

Bullshit Detector GIFs | Tenor

Aw, let’s do some nooze. It’s all bad, of course. Which particular scrap of badness? Eeny, meeny, miny, moe…

Leaked emails between the mayor of Nashville, TN, and his city health department feature their discussions on how to cover up the low number of COVID-19 cases stemming from bars and restaurants (https://fox17.com/news/local/covid-19-emails-from-nashville-mayors-office-show-disturbing-revelation).

Assuring one another that the information was “not for public consumption,” they went on to discuss how to keep the public from finding out how little risk there seemed to be of catching the virus in a bar or restaurant.

You’d think that’d be good news, wouldn’t you? Aha! You’re not thinking like a politician.

See, if the public were ever to find out that you closed down all those businesses, some of them forever, and shoved all those thousands of people out of work on the basis of data that was totally ca-ca for starters, and discredited when the actual numbers became available… Well, folks might just get a little ticked off about that. Best to make sure they never know.

Memo to leaders: No, we do not trust you! What were we thinking when we elected you?
