Florida parents say they want rights in schools. What does that mean?

Looks like the plebs are not complying anymore!

Homeschooling has become the fastest-growing form of education in America, according to a study by the Washington Post, now widely reported (https://www2.cbn.com/news/us/homeschooling-becomes-fastest-growing-form-education-america). We heard it discussed on the radio this morning.

Remember: they closed the public schools because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that was the impetus for many families to take up homeschooling. The Experts all predicted that most of these kids would be sent back to public school once the scare was over.

And they were wrong. The numbers didn’t slide back down. They kept increasing. They’re increasing as we speak.

Well, of course they are! Public schooling is a disaster–at best. Critical Race Theory. Gender change! Drag queens in the classroom. School libraries chock-full of porn. Need we say more? The surprising thing is that only two or three million families are now homeschooling. It should be more–but maybe we are getting there.

And let’s not forget the school boards calling in the FBI to “investigate” parents who don’t like their gender-bending, race-hustling policies.

If our civilization goes belly-up, it will have been our so-called education system that killed it.

But maybe we are finally waking up to that.

It used to be the whole point of telling a lie was to gain some advantage by getting someone to believe something that wasn’t true.

But now it’s just lies for the sake of lying.

A “teacher” entered my chess forum the other day to claim,”Critical Race Theory is not taught in public schools.” What hope did he have that I’d believe him? What hope did he have that anyone would believe him?

Up until a few months ago, “educators” all over America were bragging about their “anti-racist” (all white people are evil) teaching, and listing Critical Race Theory as “a great resource” on their school districts’ official websites. Sometimes they would give CRT another name–“Equity Education,” for instance–but forget to take CRT off the website. Duh. (Do you really want your kids “taught” by people that stupid?)

They even lie to themselves. Think of Democrats (the odious Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren springs to mind) waving their fists in the air and asserting that virtually everyone in America wants there to be no restrictions on abortion, none at all. Who believes that?

“There was nothing crooked about that last election!”

It’s getting so lying is the No. 1 means of communication.

Will Teachers’ Union Lose Its Congressional Charter?

What’s the only labor union in America chartered by Congress?

The National Education Assn., of course–since 1906.

Reps Scott Fitzgerald and Jim Banks have introduced a bill to repeat the giant teachers’ union’s Congressional charter (https://www.wispolitics.com/2022/u-s-rep-fitzgerald-introduces-nea-charter-repeal-act/).

What does that mean? The charter states “the mission, authority, and activities of a group.” It lends legitimacy to any group that has it. In fact, the granting of a charter is a symbolic gesture–sort of a Congressional Seal of Approval to the Far Left teachers’ union.

Repealing the charter would be another symbolic gesture.

Why should it be repealed? Because the NEA has virtually nothing to do with “education”! Over 95% of the funds it donates to politics goes to the Democrat Party. In 2019-2021 the union spent over $116 million on lobbying. It has become a purely political entity and an apparatus of the Democrat Party. Why should the American people, through Congress, salute them for it?

Probably Republicans can’t revoke the charter just now. First the Democrats need to be crushed in this year’s midterm elections. A Republican-controlled House in 2023 might be ready to take this first step toward stripping the NEA of its power to damage America.

If you don’t want your kids being “taught” Critical Race Theory, transgender, and down with America, then you don’t want public education.

But the Democrat bagman running for governor of Virginia thinks it’s none of your doggone business, what the unionized Far Left Crazy teachers “teach” your kids.

Shut Up and Pay

How do you run for governor on this? You have to believe people want to have no say in their children’s education, that they want to be insulted, that they want their kids to be taught to hate themselves, hate other kids, hate their country… I mean, people are actually going to vote for this guy? Say it ain’t so, Joe!

Does he have a reason to believe the public outrage over Critical Race Theory is just going to blow over?

Well, if he’s right about that, then the people will deserve what they get.

Have They Gone Too Far?

Napoleon used to say that when your enemy is making a mistake, get out of the way and let him do it.

Faint stirrings in the winds of politics suggest that maybe the Left in America today is about to make a very serious mistake–defending Critical Race Theory. That’s the “teaching” that all white people are born guilty of racism, America’s a no-good racist country, and that nothing good can happen here until–well, who knows what their “solution” is?

And all over the country parents are rising up to protest this “teaching” in the public schools, crowds of them at school board meetings, all demanding that CRT has got to go. Gosh, who would’ve thought it? Teaching children that they’re all evil racists, their parents are racists, and their country is evil and racist–what? They don’t like it? They don’t want it? What a surprise!

And they don’t want it at their workplaces, either.

Obviously the most foolish thing the Left can do is to try to hang on to CRT and keep it going, despite almost universal opposition. Much wiser would be to admit to themselves that this bird won’t fly and very quietly back off from it. But that would entail government officials admitting that one of their pet policies is a dead loser. When was the last time you saw them do that?

As for getting out of the way, that time has not yet come. More protests are needed. This wicked, anti-Christian, anti-American foolishness has got to be exposed for what it is: way too many people have not yet been clued in.

This is about saving our country. Contrary to Napoleon’s advice, we have to keep pounding away at this monstrosity until it falls.

And it will be a good day for America when we can finally shout, “Timberrrr!”
