Astounding! Catholic School Religious Director Fired for Being in Gay ‘Marriage’

See? I know what sanity looks like. It looks like this. No, I will not post pictures of any “gay marriage.” Bad enough I have to write about it. I will not look at it. So let’s look at puppies before moving on to this unedifying news.

Idiots and devil-worshipers are flabbergasted that the Diocese of Philadelphia has fired the religious director of a Catholic school in Montgomery County… for being in a lesbian pseudomarriage ( http://6abc.com/education/chaput-releases-statement-on-fired-catholic-school-staffer/846075/ ).

Folks, I’m sorry to keep pelting you with this miserable garbage that passes for news in this demon-haunted age. It’s obvious most people would rather read about dogs and cats and parakeets. That’s called sanity. But then, while we indulge ourselves in sanity, the wackos take over and trash our culture.

“Religious director”–hot dog! I wonder what religion she was directing the kiddies to. In accord with the teachings of the Bible, the Roman Catholic Church teaches that homosexuality is a grave sin.

I wonder what else you’d find, if you took a closer look at some of the alleged Christian schools, these days. I wonder if it would be like turning over a rotting log and finding a bunch of nasties under it.

To the sins of homosexuality and fornication, such schools add the equally grave sin of taking God’s name in vain. To teach that God smiles on these other sins and was only kidding when He called them sins is a very serious Third Commandment violation; and God will judge it very seriously.

Aw, but that’s just Bible stuff! Surely it has no place in a Catholic school.

Hymn, ‘Trust and Obey’

Here’s another oldie–and boy, if we ever needed to walk by faith, if we ever needed to trust and obey, we need it now.

Our country has been taken into captivity by the very persons to whom we entrusted her care and maintenance. Thus God chastises His people for pride and sloth and lack of love, for getting fat and forgetting Him. Now wicked and despicable people lord it over us.

Let us hold these hymns as we grope our way through the darkness back to God.

Atheist Zealots

Editor’s Note, AARP Magazine, June/July 2015: We received an angry response to the mentions (emphasis added) of prayer in our February/March issue from readers who identify as atheists. Here’s a sample.

And here’s a sample of the sample: “We are atheists. We hate it that you put a religious article in your last issue. We don’t want to read religious articles and especially resent our membership dues being used to promote religion. Our hope is that you will apologize and publish an article in the future about atheists.”

In this particular issue of the magazine there is a feature article celebrating Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, a traitor and a lesbian. No atheist will complain about that.

But if the magazine even mentions prayer, or writes about someone whose life has a religious dimension; if AARP even shows an awareness that persons who believe in God exist–well, then! Even to acknowledge the presence of religion is to “promote religion” and must be stopped. Maybe if everybody ignores it persistently, it will go away.

Don’t you just love atheists? Look at all they’ve contributed to human life–atheist music, atheist-endowed hospitals, all those great atheist charities, and inspiring figures like Stalin and Mao–really, no wonder they expect us to defer to them whenever they open their big fat mouths. No wonder that a single atheist can shut down a whole town’s prayers or parades.

AARP should indeed apologize for mentioning prayer and interviewing someone who prays. Well, okay, most liberal Democrat politicians claim to be “Christians” of one kind or another; but you know and I know and even the nooze media knows that they don’t mean it for a minute. Hence the perpetual smirk on Obama’s face.

Really now–shouldn’t there be some sort of penalty for mentioning prayer?

Let’s ask the Supreme Court…

Hymn, ‘Yield Not to Temptation’

This is another hymn I remember from my Sunday school days, before my church got all hypermodern and theologically bent out of shape. I’d be surprised if they still sang this one, ever.

I chose this plain and simple piano version, with printed lyrics so you can follow along.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing.

–Psalm 100: 1-2

A Mighty Fortress is Our God

Let’s face it–we’re going to need a mighty fortress now, and the mightiest fortress is our God.

The wicked are dancing in the streets this weekend, but be advised: everything they have raised up, God will bring down. The hour of their destruction is already marked on His schedule.

Let’s see how mighty their fortress is, when God lifts His hand against it.

Some Wise Words from C.S. Lewis

Here is a quote that just jumped out at me this morning, as I was reading the “Christian Marriage” chapter in Mere Christianity, by C.S. Lewis.

“[M]ake sure that you are judging me by what you really know from your own experience and from watching the lives of your friends, and not by ideas you have derived from novels and films. This is not so easy to do as people think. Our experience is colored through and through by books and plays and the cinema, and it takes patience and skill to disentangle the things we have really learned from life for ourselves.”

Wow! And he wrote that before we had television, comic books, and video games to confuse us even more.

In Don Quixote, Cervantes wrote of a man going totally bonkers just from all the silly books he read. But Lewis is not talking about popping your cork. No–he’s talking about not being able to tell the difference between the inside and the outside of the bottle anymore, or even to realize that the bottle is there.

What do any of us know that we really only know from television?

If that thought doesn’t make you want to cling to God’s word with both hands, for all you’re worth, I don’t know what will.

Hymn: ‘O, Worship the King’

This is another one of those old hymns that I love. I passed up what sounded like a Sergio Mendes & the Brasil 66 version in favor of normal people singing, with a piano.

But of course what really matters is to experience God’s presence. Open up. Let the music be as a hot bath after toiling in a cold rain. Let the words teach.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands…

Pope Bets His House on ‘Climate Change’

Pope Leo X, whose shenanigans touched off the Protestant Reformation. Pope Francis I has a chance to out-fail him.

With the moral authority of his church still disabled by its world-wide pedophilia scandal, the Red Pope is staking all they have left on one last throw of the dice.

So we’re all waiting for the Red Pope’s encyclical that’s going to make belief in Global Warming a religious issue (hint: it already is) and give a huge lift to the political Left throughout the Western world ( http://www.csmonitor.com/World/2015/0614/Pope-Francis-climate-change-encyclical-seeks-to-transform-debate-video ).

If the dice show craps, the Red Pope could go down in history as the pope who buried the Roman Catholic Church.

Why do I call him the Red Pope?

Because all his life he’s been an advocate and pusher of Big Government, and government as the solution to every human problem.

Nothing, but nothing, can beat Saving the Planet from Climate Change as an excuse to grow the government. As an excuse, in fact, to do anything.

As icing on the cake, one of the Red Pope’s close advisers in 2009 publicly said half the population of the world, like, has got to go. And, to make it even more fun for government types who batten on the human race like ticks, this guy has advised the pope that the world needs an “Earth Constitution” as the supreme source of law–Bible, schmeible–and a “Planetary Court.” ( http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/climate-change-overpopulation-pope/2015/06/14/id/650462/ )

As a general rule of life: When individuals and groups that have repeatedly been caught lying and cheating, propose radical new policies that will fabulously enhance their own wealth and power… don’t believe them!

Don’t ever believe them.

Hymn: ‘I Sing the Mighty Power of God’

Here is a hymn that tastes of victory. I posted this version because it has nice visuals and you can follow the words; but what I really prefer, for this, is one big monster of an organ belting this out like a full broadside from the USS New Jersey.

What? You don’t like that simile? It might offend somebody?

I don’t care: I sing the mighty power of God.

Don’t get in His way.

That Blasted Christian Meddling!

We’re used to liberals and other pagans advising Christians how to be Christians, usually by admitting the libs are right about everything and the Bible is wrong. But when it comes from a supposed fellow Christian, it’s a little hard to swallow.

Some “missional” preacher–and don’t ask me what that means, this is the first I’ve ever heard of it, it’s probably just another newfangled experiment in para-Christianity–named Lance Ford has complained about Franklin Graham calling on Christians to boycott the Wells Fargo Bank after they ran a commercial featuring a couple of lesbians adopting a little girl. Handing a child over to lesbians doesn’t bother Mr. Ford one iota, but asking Christians to express their opposition to such a thing–well, that bothers him a lot. He calls it meddling, a crime on a par with theft or murder–look, he says it, not me–and has written an article, Hey, Christian Meddler: Stop It! ( http://missionalchurchnetwork.com/hey-christian-meddler-stop-it/#more-4559 )

Dash it all! Can’t you Christians just shut up and let Satan’s servants run the show? If you was real Christians like Mr. Ford, you would just be nice and nicer than nice to everybody, and never say or do anything that someone didn’t like, and you would treat every elected or appointed public servant like an emperor, and you would just never, ever interfere with organized sodomy’s favorite societal re-engineering projects.

It’s just more of the same pietism that got Christians out of public affairs and created a vacuum filled by atheists, to the downright obvious detriment of our civilization.

Was it meddling, Mr. Ford, when Christians, after a long struggle, finally persuaded the British Parliament to outlaw the slave trade? Would you rather they’d just shut up about it, and gone around simpering winsomely to villains?

Today’s great cultural issue is sexual slavery–slavery to sin, slavery to perversion, even to the extent of the slaves’ making war on their own bodies to “change their gender” (but you can’t change even one of your body’s millions of cells from one sex to another). Politicians, academics, school teachers, judges, lawyers, “entertainers,” noozies, and “activists” who promote that slavery are in the business of rounding up souls and herding them to Hell.

I’m inclined to meddle with that to the best of my ability. How about you?
