Was It a Sin to Trick Planned Parenthood?

Rahab the harlot hid Israel’s spies in Jericho and lied about it to the city authorities–an act for which she is praised in both Testaments of the Bible.

Okay, let me see if I understand this. Planned Parenthood is caught on videotape selling pieces of aborted babies, much of it “harvested” with the baby still alive… and the ones who did wrong are the folks who made the video?

Catholic blogger Mark Shea is just one Christian who is saying it was a sin to entrap Planned Parenthood: “All that happens is that PP is temporarily embarrassed and prolifers get a thrill for a day or two” ( http://www.patheos.com/blogs/markshea/2012/06/lying-for-jesus-a-faustian-bargain.html ).

Then again, not even that would have happened, had the tricksters from the Center for Medical Progress not caught Planned Parenthood doing its ghoul business.

This reminds me of the argument made against the Climategate emails. Never mind that the ol’ “climate scientists” were using every dirty trick in the book to put over the biggest con in human history: it was the hackers who were wrong for hacking them.

But according to Shea and others, it’s always a sin to tell a lie, even if by telling the truth to the bad guys, or keeping your trap shut when you know the truth, you help the bad guys to do evil.

But the Bible contains a number of incidents in which it is presented as virtuous to deceive the wicked.

Rahab the harlot hid Joshua’s spies in Jericho. The midwives lied to Pharaoh to save the lives of Jewish baby boys. Ehud used guile to assassinate the king of Moab. The Christians in Damascus snuck Paul out of town in a basket, over the walls, deceiving the authorities. When Herod claimed the authority to kill all babies born in Bethlehem, Joseph and Mary frustrated him by fleeing to Egypt with the baby Jesus. And this happened because the wise men, entreated by Herod to report to him after they saw the baby so that he could go and worship him, too, made a fool of him by breaking their promise and going home by a roundabout route that Herod failed to watch.

There are more. Need I go on?

It is not always a sin to lie to the bad guys.

The fact that our glorious rulers still push global warming, and still refuse to defund Planned Parenthood, cannot be blamed on the whistleblowers.

Thanks to those videos, obtained by trickery–a la Rahab or Ehud–Planned Parenthood has lost the ability to deny that it traffics in baby parts.

That’s little enough to gain; but again, that’s not the whistleblowers’ fault.

Mr. Shea, your position is wooden-headed, self-indulgent, Pharasaical, and wrong.

Liam Neeson, Abortion-Loving Idiot

For our first venture into this day’s crapola, we have actor Liam Neeson–he once played Kinsey, and has never gotten over it–doing a voice-over for an ad calling for the repeal of the pro-life amendment to the Irish Constitution.

The Constitution, says Neeson, sounding just like any American liberal fat-head, was “written for another time,” a time “we thought we’d left behind us.”

Even a fool may be thought wise, if he can keep his trap shut (Proverbs 17:28). Neeson doesn’t know how to do that.

Apparently gazillions of women in Ireland died these horrible deaths because those dirty Christians and that mean old Catholic Church wouldn’t let them have abortions. The rhetoric is illustrated with views of an old ruined church, a spooky cemetery full of crosses, and a lot of sad and eerie music.

Yes, those bad old days of Christianity! Boy, good thing we don’t have to deal with that anymore! We have a glorious post-Christian culture perched atop a hill of corpses, millions of them babies’ corpses. Good thing we don’t believe in that bad old God anymore!

That’s why our world today is so blindingly humane and wonderful.

Perverting the Law

Remember when the law told you what you couldn’t do? So as long as you didn’t do this or didn’t do that, you were free.

Well, today’s new doctrine is: now the law is going to tell you what you must do. You must buy health insurance. You must take an active part in a homosexual “wedding” if they demand it of you.

And, under a law now pending in the California legislature, if you run or work at a pro-life counseling center… you must tell every woman who comes to you where to go to get an abortion. ( http://thekingdomdrivenfamily.com/2015/09/08/if-you-cant-win-cheat/#more-1469 )

As “progressives” rally to defend and promote the abortion industry, and sweep under the rug all those unpleasant videos of Planned Parenthood selling baby parts, they also continue their assault on free speech and the First Amendment.

How is it even remotely compatible with the First Amendment to the Constitution, for the government to tell you what you must say?

The bill even includes this bizarre text: “… there are nearly 200 licensed and unlicensed clinics known as crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) in California whose goal is to interfere with women’s ability to be fully informed and exercise their reproductive rights…” (“reproductive rights” is lib-speak for killing the baby). Here the legislature is taking sides against the pro-life counselors, in favor of abortion providers–you know, people who kill babies for a living.

Note there is to be no requirement that Planned Parenthood or any other abortion facility be required to tell women where to go to get pro-life counseling. It’s very much a one-way street.

These are the things that are done to us when the rulers lose all fear of the electorate.

Loopy Lib: Use Baby Parts for Dog Food

Every now and then, liberals let the mask slip and you get to see what’s underneath.

Geraldo Rivera’s mask slipped on TV last week ( http://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/curtis-houck/2015/08/13/gutfeld-schools-geraldo-i-hope-you-live-long-backs-dead-fetuses#.hxsziy:TnkW ) when he suggested a novel use for the flesh and organs of aborted babies:

“What if I want it for dog food?”

How about superannuated liberals as alligator food?

All right, Geraldo was worked up and he blurted out some incautious words. What he said was so crass, it distracted the audience from something he said that was much more substantial and equally revealing.

“I want a cure for cancer” and other diseases, he said. And if that means aborting babies and harvesting the parts, well, sez Geraldo, that’s “the reality of how medicine gets done, how research gets done.”

Is there any price too high to pay, if it keeps Geraldo alive and gasbagging for another 700 years? How many babies do you sacrifice to save one patient from cancer?

Post-Christian civilization–hot dog. Just make sure you’re on the right end of the human sacrifice.

How Moral Imbeciles Defend Abortion

Sorry for this horrible image–but if you have a problem with it, then you must be a forced-birth advocate.

The defense of abortion has been getting more and more inane. I won’t say it’s as offensive as abortion itself–you know: killing a baby and selling off the body piece by piece–but it is certainly very offensive.

Even before it came out that Planned Parenthood was selling off chunks of aborted babies, pro-aborts had discovered a devastating new put-down, guaranteed to slay pro-lifers where they stood.

Ready? Here it is: anyone opposed to abortion is to be called a forced birth advocate.

Get it? These wicked evil people are forcing, forcing women to have babies. The way-out-there lefty Daily Kos has a sample rant (http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/08/07/1409643/-Marco-Rubio-and-Fetus-Worship ), in which we get the whole package: forced birth advocates hate women, they think women should be nothing more than “walking incubators,”  they indulge in “fetus worship,” and of course they don’t believe that “women’s lives matter.”

Abortion can also be defended by dreaming up statistically unlikely scenarios ( “What if a woman is raped by someone with AIDS while crossing the Barents Sea in a kayak?”), but it’s really much more fun to call names.

And when all else fails, pro-aborts can call upon their sponsor, Satan–as they did two years ago in this famous pro-abortion rally in Texas ( http://leeduigon.com/2013/07/05/hail-who-do-they-know-what-theyre-saying/ ).

I think we can be sure that Satan hears them.

You Won’t Believe This

Did you know Planned Parenthood has a “clergy advocacy board”? I didn’t; but it seems they really do–a coven of alleged religious leaders who support the abortion industry and say Planned Parenthood is “simply doing God’s work” ( http://cnsnews.com/news/article/brittany-m-hughes/clergy-advocacy-board-says-planned-parenthood-doing-gods-work ).

This is blasphemy of a very high order–just what you’d expect when Reformed rabbis, Episcopal ministerettes, UCC and Unitarian pagans, and self-proclaimed “progressive Muslims” get together. The absence of anyone from the Presbyterian Church USA from this board of directors can only have been an oversight, easily corrected.

Yep–God’s work is abortion, and then selling off the baby’s parts. Did you know this helps “oppressed groups”? I didn’t. Did you know the only people who’ve done anything wrong are those who caught the organ auction on videotape? Just ask any of those clergypersons.

Every time you think the news has bottomed out, that it just can’t get any worse than this, along comes something worse. I am afraid to try to imagine something more odious, more shameful, more wicked than this gleeful support of Planned Parenthood by persons claiming to be servants of the living God.

But that’s just what you have to expect from all those pseudo-churches.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

Even More Disgusting: Fake Abortions for Homosexuals

Yes, I know this picture of a cat playing with a snowman has absolutely nothing to do with the putrid subject matter of my post below. It’s just a nice picture. Enjoy it while sanity is still allowed.

Here is another news story that I can’t much quote from. I mean, this is supposed to be a Christian blog. You may find it very hard to believe this story, but I’m afraid it’s true.

A top-of-the-line abortion center is now offering”simulated abortions” to homosexual men ( http://dailycaller.com/2015/04/01/elite-abortion-clinic-now-offers-sim-abortions-for-gay-men/ ). We are not told how much they have to pay for the experience.

Here’s one quote I think I can get away with. The one sodomite says his whatever “is so, so special to me, and we both agree that having the right to choose is incredibly important. We shouldn’t lose the ability to affirm that choice simply because we’re gay.”

My wife thinks I’m making this stuff up. I wish it were so.

How do they perform a simulated abortion on a homosexual man?

I would rather not say. Use your imagination.

“They really wanted to understand what women have to go through in less progressive states that don’t respect the right to choose,” said another tulip quoted in the article. He is, perhaps, unaware that in not one of the 50 states is abortion banned. Maybe he thinks it is, somewhere in the other seven.

The owner of the clinic says they’ve been contacted by abortion mills in four other states, asking for advice on how to get started in the gay male abortion business.

But let’s look on the bright side–at least a baby isn’t getting killed.

The article to which I linked is a satire. It’s even labeled “SATIRE,” right under the picture of the two men–and my eye skipped over it without seeing it.

Why was it so easy for me to believe this phony story? Uh, possibly because the time we’re living in abounds with such stories, and most of them are true.

So here I am, retracting it, because the story isn’t true, it was just a gag, and I was taken in by it. I apologize for that. As someone who has been known to write and publish a satire or two of his own, I’m used to people being hoodwinked by stories I made up, thinking no one could possibly fail to see they were put-ons.

This time it was my turn to be fooled.

Until someone who owns an abortion mill reads this satire and decides it really is a good idea, after all… and it comes true..

Sodomite Imitation Marriage, Abortion, and Hellfire

Yesterday was the most shameful day in U.S. history, and America will never live it down.

This Supreme Court ruling has already been compared to Roe v. Wade, the ruling that “legalized” abortion without any laws being passed, and which has been wrangled over since the 1970s. But there are some important differences.

*No doctor has ever been forced to perform an abortion; but justices of the peace–and eventually churches–are going to be forced to perform these satanic parodies of marriage.

*No ordinary person who is not a physician has ever been forced to assist in an abortion, in any way; but already small business owners have been persecuted and destroyed by the government for declining to take an active part in one of these sham “weddings.”

*Abortion did not require a radical makeover of our society, to be made to stick; but mock marriage will not endure unless its proponents can successfully criminalize Christianity, subvert and disable the church, and make mincemeat of our First Amendment.

All three of the above have already come to pass in Canada. It was easier there, because Canada doesn’t have a First Amendment. But no one can say America’s homofascists are afraid of hard work!

The hysterical celebrations by America’s rulers yesterday will also go down in history. The nadir, of course, was their ordering all the monuments in Washington lit up with rainbow floodlights–the rainbow, remember, was originally a sign from God–to celebrate active defiance of the word of God. But these antichrists specializes in taking God’s name in vain.

Every one of those persons who celebrated has put his or her soul in danger of damnation. This is open rebellion against God; it will not stand, nor will it prosper.

Who is on the Lord’s side?

If you are, you’d better let Him know it.

Tyranny is Back in Style

Freedom is on the run–especially here in the United States.

Having snarled and screamed and forced Arkansas and Indiana to gut their “Religious Freedom Restoration Acts,” the Loving Left has tasted blood and now wants a steaming mouthful of our flesh. Are they feeling their oats, or what?

Yesterday alone, I found these stories in the news:

1. The New York Times, in an op-ed piece by its former food editor, said Christianity must  be forced to “embrace the gay lifestyle,” or else–re-education camp, a la North Korea ( http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2015/04/08/nyt-writer-christianity-must-be-made-to-embrace-gay-lifestyle/ ).

2. Yet another Goering wannabe has called for jailing “Climate Change Deniers” for the crime of Unbelief ( http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/04/08/punish-climate-change-liars-rants-gawker-writer-as-global-temperature-remains-steady/ ).

3. Assorted followers of Organized Sodomy demand that all churches perform homosexual pseudomarriage, or else get taxed out of existence ( http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2926832/posts ).

4. And in Canada, they’re discussing not letting anyone be a physician unless he or she agrees to perform abortions. There must be rather limited opportunities for a podiatrist to do that. But in the name of Choice, the Loving Left proposes to abolish yet another choice.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people image a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, Let us burst their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us!

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall have them in derision… (Psalm 2:1-4)

These people had better watch out. When the Lord has finished laughing at them, they will wish their fathers had never met their mothers.

Until then, it remains our duty to trust in God and speak the truth according to His word.

Can We Sink Any Lower Than This?

How about a “children’s book” celebrating abortion? Academics can no longer distinguish between good and evil: because in their world, bad ideas have no consequences. And so a character like Mary Walling Blackburn, professor of art at Southern Methodist University, has written a little number called Sister Apple, Sister Pig. It’s a jaunty little e-book about a little kid who knows his mother and father decided to kill–er, abort–terminate?–what sounds nice, here?–their first child, who would have been his sister. He’s all happy now because his sister is “a happy ghost” (I wonder how many “happy ghosts” Mao and Hitler made) and is not around to inconvenience the parents and make them “tired, and sad, and mad!”

Don’t forget, our “president” once called abortion the means by which “girls fulfill their dreams.”

Why are these people so completely comfortable with murdering their young?

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves. Isaiah 28:15

It’s bad enough that we have people like this living among us. But we also have them governing us, educating our children, running our courts, “entertaining” us, misreporting our news, and so on. Even an ostensibly Methodist university is not ashamed to employ a person who invents truly creepy apologies for abortion.

This is the sacrament of humanism. This is our human sacrifice to a false god.

I think our country’s in a lot of trouble.
