‘Transgender’–Revolt Against the Creator

The Society's 'Mene mene tekel upharsin' writing on the wall explained – what does it all mean?

I am beginning to understand our present era as a purposeful campaign to separate the human race from its Creator–and that that’s precisely what the whole “transgender” movement is about.

We can’t at the same time be “as gods” and be creatures created by God. So The Smartest People In The World exhort us, seduce us, or force us to throw off the bands and cords of creatureliness so that we–or rather, they–can be as gods: just like in Psalm 2:

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His anointed, saying, let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. (V. 1-4)

They set up idols–the state, and Science–demand that we bow down to them, and teach us that there is no God… and get awfully mad if we don’t believe them. The governor of Oregon wants to “eradicate” us. Fake President Biden says Christians are “like terrorists.” They hate us for God’s sake, and hate God for ours.

See through the scam: when they say “earthly paradise through Science and global governance,” they mean the whole kit ‘n’ kaboodle piled onto the plebs’ backs. When they say “be like God,” they mean they will be as gods and anyone who dares dissent will not do it again. It’s all for them and nothing for us. Not that we want anything of theirs! It’s all be poisoned.

The insane public policies that we endure today are all designed to estrange us from God, from one another, and even from ourselves.

And that, I think, is the lesson of the Book of Daniel.

The handwriting’s still on the wall, but self-deified dolts can’t read it.

Who’s **Really** the King?

The self-styled “masters of the universe,” who think they’re gods because they bought some corrupt politicians–“He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision” (Psalm 2:4).

The higher they rise, the farther they will fall. Each day brings them closer to judgment.

Jesus Christ is king, and King of kings. The right is His alone.

Pipsqueaks in Power

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.  –Psalm 2: 1-4

Do you like knowing there are self-anointed philosopher-kings, would-be rulers of the world, walking around out there with way more power than is good for them–and certainly more than is good for us!: to whom we are, at best, ignorant peasants who must be “managed” for our own good: managed by them, God help us?

And consider them well. Mark Zuckerberg’s a twerp. George Soros is a living fossil. Bill Gates has things wrong with him. Xi Jin Ping is just a villain. We are to be ruled by… these? God forbid.

Now they’re paying court to King COVID, who is to give them undreamed-of power over an undefended public. COVID ‘n’ Climate Change give them license to do anything they please.

This is a thing we should not have forgotten: only God, and only God’s law, can make us free. Rulers who have not placed themselves under God are only predators. They are no better than termites, eating up the house that shelters them.

Turn to God, and He will turn to us.

But we have gone very, very far astray…

Now Your iPhone Is Spying on You

See the source image

Not for me, thank you

Most of you will understand this better than I can, but suffice it to say an “Apple FaceTime bug lets others spy on you” and “lets users secretly listen in through someone else’s iPhone when a call is placed–even though the recipient hasn’t picked up the call” (https://www.ajc.com/business/personal-finance/apple-facetime-bug-lets-others-spy-you/UVNEMRdFH8i7hTjqVEEp1K/).

My phone hangs on the wall and only handles phone calls.

Apple had to disable GroupFaceTime on Monday night and is working to fix the problem. Until it does, “the best defense” is to turn it off–a complicated procedure which I couldn’t do to save my life.

I wouldn’t have a job without our high technology, but really–is there no such thing as too much technology? I think there is. Do we truly have to have all these gadgets spying on us? Is that really where we want to be?

There are people out there who want to set up a global government with themselves in charge of it. They will use our technology to advance their enterprise. These are not nice people, these are not angels or saints or sages. We need to defend ourselves from them.

Psalm 2 springs to mind: “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

“He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure.”

I wonder if He’s going to stop laughing soon.

A Dynamic of History: the Devourer

See the source image

Genghis Khan’s piece of the world

The outward appearance of the world is always changing, but the dynamics of history never change.

One of those dynamics is this: there’s always somebody who wants to rule the world, a devourer of nations.

Pyrrhus wanted to conquer all the countries around the Mediterranean. He couldn’t have told you why. A woman killed him with a piece of a millstone: just like what happened to Ahimelech in Judges 9:53.

Alexander the Great conquered nations because he thought he was a god. Julius Caesar and his successors trampled other nations as their way of getting ahead in Roman politics.

Genghis Khan grabbed more of the earth’s surface than anyone; and God alone knows why.

Adolph Hitler tried to engulf Europe. His own ambition killed him.

Today there is no individual, no single nation, that’s out to conquer the world. But the dynamic of history remains. The new devourers of nations are globalists, consortia, an international gaggle of self-anointed big shots. Instead of Roman legions, they’ve got legions of lawyers. Instead of Panzer divisions, they’ve got waves and waves of “migrants.”

But it’s the same old thing, a yen to rule the world. The methodology has changed, but the motivation stays the same. Control everything and be as gods.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh; the LORD shall have them in derision… (Psalm 2: 4)

When He stops laughing, then they will learn who is God and who is not.

Psalm 2: For Us

This psalm might have been written specially for our own time, our own age.

The heathen are raging now–are they ever!–and the people imagine things unmatched for sheer vanity by the delusions of any other age in history.

When God stops laughing at it… watch out.

“‘He’s Not a Tame Lion'” (2016)

Remember the bozo, a couple years ago, who told me to lay off the sermonizing and just report the nooze? As if the nooze, anymore, was anything less than left-wing sermonizing for their own false gods.

Do they know whom they’re trifling with?

https://leeduigon.com/2016/09/13/hes-not-a-tame-lion/

No, boys ‘n’ girls, he’s not a tame lion.

For a refresher course on this, see Psalm 2. “He shall break them with a rod of iron, and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

Lib Loons Embrace Big Business

According to The New York Times–you already know this is going to be a load of BS, don’t you?–left-wing CEOs are now “the moral voice of corporate America” (http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2017/08/23/new-york-times-vox-declare-corporations-the-moral-voice-of-america/).

Say what?

The loons at NYT are praising those who quit serving on President Donald Trump’s corporate advisory committee after he refused to join the nooze media’s manufactured hysteria over “white supremacists” et al. Yes, the president had the chutzpah to criticize leftid Antifa goons for showing up in Virginia last week with clubs and masks and urine bombs to “counter-protest” the dreaded neo-Nazis. Like, everybody knows hysterically violent Democrats are good and everyone who gets in their way is bad and must be beaten senseless.

Chiming in with the most overrated newspaper in the world, an outfit called Vox.com hailed lib-run corporations like Starbuck’s and Disney as fulfilling the role, nowadays, once filled by Christian churches. See, being a leftid turd-brain is, like, y’know, real spiritual, man! And, like, y’know, if you eat at Starbuck’s instead of Chick-Fil-A, that makes you, like, this moral giant!

Did I mention that the media buffoons praised the leftid CEOs for “speaking truth to power”? Leave no cliche unused! Hey, where do we pin the medals? As if they risked anything whatsoever by ratting on President Trump. Go ahead, imagine what might happen to anyone who ratted on President Hillary Clinton.

Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure.  –Psalm 2:1-5

When the Lord’s done laughing, a lot of people had better start shaking.

‘Idolizing the Bible’?

Image result for images of same-sex marriage in church

But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Matthew 15:9)

I was advised by one of my liberal friends this weekend that “Idolizing the Bible only leads to fundamentalism.” He has a horror of fundamentalism: it gets in the way of his love affairs with Darwinism and Big Government. Happily, he reminds me, “we have the Church” (he means his church) to give us teachings that supplement or even replace the Bible.

As you can see by the Bible quote above–oops, there I go again!–Jesus has already addressed this issue.

Imagine what harm it would do to the church, and to the whole Christian community, if we were to cut ourselves loose from the Bible and just rely on the teachings and opinions of sinful, mortal men. Oh, wait, we don’t have to imagine it! In fact, we’ve got a picture of it.

This is how we get a church featuring goddess worship, feminist theology, same-sex parodies of marriage, and general assembly delegates poncing around in animal costumes… among other things.

I once interviewed a high official of the Methodist Church, who came right out and said, “The first thing I learned in seminary was that the Bible is not the word of God!” He was proud of having cut himself loose from the Bible. More fool him.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. (Psalm 2:1-4)

There will come a time when the Lord stops laughing.

And that will not be a fun time for this world.

‘A Mighty Fortress’

Even on a Sunday, the bad news doesn’t stop bubbling up from the bottom of the cauldron. Our God laughs at it. The heathen rage, but the walls of the City of God are impregnable.

Does anybody know a glorious, blow-Satan-and-his-stooges-into-extremely-tiny-pieces version of this hymn? If you do, tell me where to find it, and I’ll post it.
