I’ve been seeing bunny-tracks in the snow by my apartment, but not the bunnies themselves. I wonder where they’re nesting.

We had a nest of baby cottontails in our little garden once. We loved watching them chase each other as they played among the pepper plants. They grow up fast, though. You have to see it to believe it.

Although I’ve never had a pet rabbit, I’ve always loved bunnies–and the ones in this video are especially lovable.
We had baby cottontails in our garden, some years ago. Cutest little things. One night, I was standing around, smoking my pipe, when three or four of the little rascals came out and started chasing each other around me. I felt like a maypole. The rabbits in this neighborhood get quite tame, and I love their company.
That’s either one little cat or one big rabbit. Don’t worry, they’re not fighting: they’re tumbling around in play. It’s a mammal thing.
It sort of makes me wish I could shrink myself and join in on the fun.
Enough with the news already, let’s have some sanity around here.
