Yeah, They Really Did It: Dems Hope to Outlaw Climate Change Denial

Just so you know what you’ll be getting if you vote for Hillary “Careless” Clinton, or refuse to vote for Donald Trump…

They’ve actually done it: a plan to criminalize “Climate Change Denial,” which some of us know better as common-sense skepticism, has been included in the official Democrat platform for 2016 ( https://patriotpost.us/articles/43531 ).

Yes–a major political party openly seeks to outlaw an opinion. You will not be allowed to say that “Climate Change” is anything but gospel truth.

How they plan to square this with the First Amendment is anybody’s guess, but they don’t seem to be overly troubled by that consideration. Maybe it isn’t a consideration. Maybe they reckon that Hillary’s Supreme Court appointments will allow them to do anything and everything they please.

So if you’re sitting around waiting for The Righteous Candidate–

Flash! Eco-Fascist Prosecutor Backs Down

The chance to report good news comes along but rarely. I’ll take it when I can get it.

Earlier this year, the Democrat attorney-general of the US Virgin Islands subpoenaed the records of a conservative think tank, the Competitive Enterprise Institute, as part of a nationwide Democrat witch-hunt aimed at “Climate Change Denial,” an opinion which they don’t think you should be allowed to have unless they can jail you for having it.

Just found out that late in May, after the Competitive Enterprise Institute took out full-page ads in major newspapers to tell the whole world what this little creep was up to, the attorney-general has revoked his subpoena ( http://dailysignal.com/2016/05/23/virgin-islands-ag-withdraws-climate-change-subpoena-against-think-tank/ ). CEI still seeks sanctions against him, though, for attempting to use the law and his public office for blatantly political and wildly unconstitutional purposes.

This guy joined with 27 other Democrat AGs, nationwide, to try to criminalize disbelief in Man-Made Global Warming.

Wouldn’t it be just priceless if some of these cupcakes wound up in the big house?

Dem Platform Committee: Prosecute ‘Climate Change Deniers’

If you’re even thinking about allowing another Democrat, ever again, to be president, please stop it at once.

A few days ago the Democrat platform drafting committee voted unanimously to have the Dept. of “Justice” prosecute individuals and organizations for being skeptical of that ultimate lib faith statement, Man-Made Climate Change. Yup, they wish to outlaw an opinion. They’ll start with going after energy companies and “corporations,” but they also have their eyes on conservative think tanks and dissenting scientists ( http://beforeitsnews.com/opinion-conservative/2016/06/democratic-party-platform-to-call-for-prosecution-of-climate-change-deniers-3155271.html ).

And if you folks permit Hillary “Cash” Clinton to become president, this wildly flagrant violation of the First Amendment–its virtual repeal, for all practical purposes, will be upheld, 5-4, by a Supreme Court wherein the late Justice Scalia will have been replaced by some commie chosen by the Democrats.

It’s this simple, everybody. Either Trump defeats Clinton, or you lose your First Amendment rights.

Because you don’t think they’ll stop there, do you?

 

This Is Not How Honest People Behave

E&E Legal (the Energy & Environmental Legal Institute) has sued the Vermont Attorney General “to release public records related to conspiracy of AGs [state attorneys general] seeking to use RICO [Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act] to punish and silence Climate Change ‘deniers’,” according to a press release ( http://eelegal.org/2016/06/13/press-release-ee-legal-sues-vermont-for-stonewalling-public-records-request/ ). It seems records are being shuffled back and forth between Vermont and New York “to keep secret public documents the public has a right to see,” E&E charges.

Well, hey, we’ve been warned about this ( http://www.newsmax.com/GeorgeWill/climate-change-deniers/2016/04/24/id/725453/ ). The Global Warming mob and its Democrat cohorts in our gangster government are actually trying to outlaw an opinion and silence any expression of it. They can’t convince the public that “Man-Made Climate Change” is real, so they fall back on brute force. Well, that’s one way to win an argument: “Shut up, or we’ll throw you in jail!”

I’ve never seen this in my lifetime–a genuine government effort to shut down debate over public policy by criminalizing dissent.

Honest people do not win arguments this way.

But Global Warming is too good to let go. It provides would-be tyrants with an excuse for anything they have a mind to do. “We gotta do it because it’s the only way to Save the Planet!” And anyone who dares voice a doubt is looking down the barrel of a prison sentence.

If George Washington were alive today, he’d be leading an army in a march on the city that so unworthily bears his name.

Think about that on Election Day.

Don’t let it be said that you failed to do everything in your power to prevent another Democrat from taking office.

Because they won’t stop this mischief unless we stop them.

Bill Nye the Ignorance Guy Defends Abortion

Taking time off from his campaign to have people thrown in jail for not believing in Man-made Global Warming–er, Climate Change when it’s cold outside–former kids’ TV star Bill Nye “the Science Guy” drew on his vast reserve of ignorance to defend abortion. Or rather, to attack opposition to abortion as “a deep lack of scientific understanding” ( http://www.nationalreview.com/article/424721/bill-nye-youtube-abortion )

Nye railed against “your interpretation of a book written 5,000 years ago… [which] makes you think that when men and women have sexual intercourse, they always have a baby.”

Obviously this man has not even a nodding acquaintance with the Bible, which is full of examples of men and women who could not succeed in having a baby no matter how many times they tried. When God, through Isaiah, said “Sing, O barren,” (Isaiah 54:1), He was comforting those people.

Nye’s objection to the Bible appears to be based on 1) its age–as if truth had a shelf life–and 2) his total unawareness of what the Bible says. He’s also a bit confused about basic biology. He laments that “it’s hard not to get frustrated with this,” meaning opposition to abortion.

Hey, Bill! Maybe the government ought to jail Abortion Deniers, too.

It’s hard not to despise an arrogant ass like this, but as Christians we ought to try. We ought to pray that this lost soul hears God’s voice before it’s too late for him to profit by it.

Meanwhile, it’s just another sad example of America’s stupidest smart people trying to debase our culture beyond the point of revival.

What Beliefs Will We Be Allowed to Have?

Conference organizers concealed the identities of the participants, according to The Telegraph.

While the world was looking elsewhere, a bunch of top judges and lawyers from all over the world got together in London, in a conference funded by (who else?) the U.N., to try figure out a way to make it against the law not to believe in Global Warming ( http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/11924776/QC-calls-for-ruling-to-scotch-claims-that-challenge-consensus-on-global-warming.html ).

Well, actually, what they want to do is somehow to translate the “settled science,” the “scientific consensus,” the “97% of scientists believe that Colgate is an effective decay-preventive dentifrice” ** Oops! got carried away, should be “97% of scientists believe in Global Warming so that makes it true”–all this, they wish to translate into law. “Facts” are to be made laws; and presumably it would then become a criminal offense to dispute the “facts.”

Only liberals have so little confidence in their own opinions that they always seek to have them put over by force. They can’t convince us that their “Climate Change” is anything other than a big, fat scam, so they want to shut us up.

Is this how honest men behave?

Is this how science is to proceed from now on? Whoever has the most force at his disposal, wins the debate–or, better yet, just shuts down the debate?

This trail has been blazed by the “gay marriage” pioneers. Don’t like it? Don’t want to take part in a same-sex “wedding”? Okay–we’ll ruin you financially, turn you and your whole family into public enemies, destroy your livelihood. We don’t bother to try to win the argument! We just crush the opposition.
