‘The Wrong of “Human Rights”‘ (2012)

There are many things out there more dangerous and harmful than coronavirus; and worst of all is leftism. Like this.

The Wrong of ‘Human Rights’

Be very afraid of any pinheads who claim the authority to “design society.” That means they want to design you. ‘Cause they know what’s best for everyone, and even your thoughts are not your own. They’d suck ’em out of your brain with a straw and spit ’em on the ground, if only they could.

And they’ll still be here when the virus goes away.

Think about the best way to crush them.

Hell Age Looms for Canada

We rejoiced in 2013 when Canada’s Parliament repealed the infamous Section 13 of its “Human Rights” Act. Section 13, with its open-ended definitions and murky language, made it open season on anyone who said or wrote anything that any member of any Cherished Minority in Canada found “offensive” for any reason, no matter how ridiculous.

But that was when the Conservative Party was in charge. Now, with leftid superman Justin Trudeau in the driver’s seat, the new Parliament has proposed to amend the Criminal Code to bring back all the  bad old days of Section 13–and then some.

With one important difference.

Under the old regime, all they could do to you was use the “human rights” tribunal to perpetually harass you, and ruin you through colossal legal fees.

Now they propose to chuck you into prison for two years if you say or write anything that “promotes hatred,” whatever that means, or is “offensive to the community,” whatever that means ( http://www.thecommonsenseshow.com/2016/05/24/anti-transgender-speech-will-get-two-years-canada/ ).

Note: this protection from ever being offended, challenged, or disagreed with will not extend to every Canadian citizen. Ordinary persons will not have this protection: only members of Canada’s Cherished Minorities, including transgender whaddayacallums. If you are a white Christian man or woman who is sexually normal and morally upright, anyone can say anything to you, write anything about you, abuse you to his heart’s content–and you just have to suck it up.

This is what happens when leftids come to power. They loath and despise ordinary normal people. They hate all forms of decency. That’s why they always try to criminalize it.

Will Son of Trudeau get this wicked measure passed, or will Canada come to its senses in time?

Unless, of course, this kind of soft-core Stalinism is really what Canada wants.

And please don’t think, even for a minute, that Democrats wouldn’t want to do this to America. They’d do it this afternoon, if they thought they had the votes.

I am Entitled…

I am the greatest basketball player in the world, and I am entitled to be recognized as such by each and every one of you. Or else I’ll report you to the Human Rights Commission.

The video proves my claim–just watch! I’m the guy making all those baskets and blocking all those shots. Whoever filmed it mistakenly said it was Wilt Chamberlain when all the time it was me, Lee Duigon. Anyhow, there never was a Wilt Chamberlain. It was always me.

That’s a fact–because I say so. I am entitled to my own facts. And instead of writing me off as crazy, you should all be elbowing each other out of the way to curry favor with me. Build rest rooms specially for me! Allow me to use the women’s showers whenever I please. Invent new pronouns and force college and high school kids to use them. Above all, remember to call me “Wilt” and constantly praise my basketball prowess. Anybody who doesn’t is a bigot and a hater and an enemy of the human race.

How About Just ‘Some’ Religious Freedom?

How can America preserve religious freedom–guaranteed in the First Amendment to the Constitution–while at the same time preserving the right of homosexuals to force Christians to perform actions against their conscience and their faith?

The city of Gomorrah, New York, has the answer.

Here, the city council has passed the Kinda-Sorta Religious Freedom Ordinance, which sets up six Religious Freedom Zones around the city. Each is roughly the size of an old-fashioned public phone booth.

Explained Mayor Bill Zebub, “Anyone who steps into a Religious Freedom Zone, for as long as he remains inside it, cannot be forced to say or do anything against his beliefs. Within the zone, absolute freedom of conscience prevails.

“Outside the zone, of course, everyone, including Christians, must obey any order given by a gay or lesbian or trans person. To do otherwise is to be guilty of Hate, and Hate is a very bad emotion. It will not be allowed to exist within the city limits of Gomorrah.”

The city has authorized a Human Rights Whipping Post, with rack and thumbscrews reserved for “particularly difficult cases.”

“We got the idea from the Free Speech Zones you find on many college campuses,” the mayor said. “After all, the First Amendment doesn’t say where you have freedom of speech or freedom of religion! All it requires is that you have freedom somewhere in America. Nor does it say how large that somewhere has to be.”

You Heard It from a Noozie: Man is God

In case you missed it last week, noozie Chris Cuomo publicly stated that we get our rights not from God who created us, but from man ( http://www.worldmag.com/2015/02/chris_cuomo_our_rights_do_not_come_from_god ).

http://accessnews.us/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Declaration-of-Independence.jpg

He made this grotesque remark in an interview with Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore, in which he tried to overthrow Moore’s argument that marriage is ordained by God to consist of a man and a woman. Judge Moore is a great man. Chris, the brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the son of former Gov. Mario Cuomo–who famously postulated that a Christian politician need not, in his public policy, be guided by Christian morality–is a noozie, which these days is a shameful thing to be. He is also an ignoramus, running straight up against Thomas Jefferson: who wrote, in The Declaration of Independence,

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights…

“Inalienable,” for those who can’t do adult crossword puzzles, means not for sale, cannot be given away, cannot be taken away: these are rights that are inherent in our status as human beings.

I leave it to you whether this noozie is a pagan. But if he isn’t, I daresay there’s something very deficient in his grasp of Christian doctrine.

What man can give, man can take away. The noozies are comfortable with that now because their favorite progs and libs control the state. They ought to bear in mind Plutarch’s observation that tyranny is a nice, high perch, but there’s no safe way down from it.
