How do “reporters” learn to avoid asking difficult questions?

Remember the Parkland shooting? Yes, one of all too many school shootings. And somehow it wound up being blamed on law-abiding citizens who, in accord with their Second Amendment rights, owned firearms.

Journalism? What Journalism?

Had I been at our local demonstration as a reporter, I would have asked, “Aren’t you ashamed to exploit kids for your own political agenda?” And probably a few others, too, before they called the cops and complained I was harassing them.

If the tantrum doesn’t work, try a lawsuit.

What could be more loathsome than training children to parrot a lot of talking points and sending them into the political arena as your pawns?

Leftids do it all the time. I don’t think they can choose not to do it.

Judge Tosses Kids’ Climate Change Lawsuit

Here we had two little boys, aged 7 and 11 at the time, suing in a Philadelphia court to have most of America’s public policies turned around and shuffled to complay with Climbit Chainge ideology. The judge tossed the suit in a hurry: for once we saw a judge resist the temptation to dictate national policy.

Did the kids know what their lawsuit was about? Did they grasp its country-threatening implications?

Or did some unscrupulous adults just put them up to it?

And when we trot out the kiddies, they’ll have fantastically corrupt and dishonest politicians clinging to them, waiting to pounce on us.

They just know they’ll get their precious global government–Climbit Chainge and King COVID make an unbeatable tag-team. And we all know by now that powerful natural processes can be controlled by protests and demonstrations!

And if that don’t work, sling a couple of poems at ’em! And chant slogans. That always impresses tides and ocean currents.

There must be something more shameful than allowing children to lecture adults, but I’m sure I can’t imagine what it is.

Quick! How many nanoseconds will it take you to think of a better idea than leaving huge public policy decisions up to teenagers?

If all goes well for Far Left Crazy–sometimes it just sort of fizzles out–tomorrow will see kazillions of teenagers all over America walk out of school to demand “climate justice,” whatever the deuce that is, as part of a world-wide Youth Climate Strike (https://www.ecowatch.com/youth-climate-strike-2627959531.html). Oh, well, if I’d had a chance to get applauded for walking out of school, I’d have done it, too.

Says a 13-year-old “organizer” of the event, “People are dying right now, and we need to #ActOnClimate!”, hashtags and all. *Sigh* A 15-year-old demands “immediate action” by the government: “We need a Green New Deal!” Let’s see what he says if they really get the Green New Deal and they tell him he can never have a car.

This incredible spontaneous movement by children is “supported by environmental groups” with cool names like “Extinction Rebellion.” We are asked to believe that no adults, motivated by any wacko political agenda, put the kids up to this. And if you believe that…

This is the culmination of years of work by public “educators” to reduce whole generations to slavish obedience to whatever the government and Science spoon-feed them in the classroom, on the TV nooze, and in superhero movies. This is babble for the rabble. The massive ignorance needed to fuel such a movement staggers the mind. All they know is that the world is gonna end in just 12 years and everybody’s gonna die unless the devouring state is given absolute power over everyone and everything.

And we paid for it! We paid for the club that’s going to come down on our heads.

For how much longer do they get to abuse us before we shut off the flow of the money?

Are we living in the golden age of pure, tempest-tossed crapola, or what?

Still pursuing power like Captain Ahab hunted the white whale, Hillary “It’s My Turn!” Clinton has attached herself to the European branch of the Climbit Change jihad.

“Something extraordinary is happening” in Europe, she babbled this weekend. “Teen girls are leading a movement to stop Climate Change” (https://www.scotsman.com/news/opinion/hillary-clinton-hails-girls-like-13-year-old-scot-over-climate-strikes-susan-dalgety-1-4873879).

Do you want to be ruled by teenage girls? I don’t.

All over the shambles that is Western Europe, girls who’ve found their ticket to fame–and a way to escape boring classes–have been boycotting classes to “protest” Climate Change. “Youth Strikes 4 Climate,” reads their banner. Yessiree, they’re going to “stop” natural processes on a planetary scale, just by protesting! Supposedly there are “thousands” of these teenaged “eco-warriors” cluttering up Sweden, Belgium, and Scotland.

Dig this. Says one, “If you get a detention, that’s nothing to how we will suffer if nothing is done!” We’re all gonna die, see, unless we give governments colossal new powers to control our lives. And redistribute all the wealth. And all that other utopia stuff.

Uh, what about how badly we will suffer if something is done? We’ll be living, if you can call it that, in the world of The Hunger Games.

All throughout history it has been a sure sign of the emptiness and loathsomeness of any political movement, when it needs to trot out children as its spokesmen. It doesn’t get much more despicable than that–but then the Left is despicable, and there’s no changing it.

These little fat-heads in Western Europe don’t need to be filmed and quoted and treated like rock stars.

They need to be grounded.
