The government says a tenth of Britain’s farmland must be “rewilded”–do you know what that means? I don’t!–in order to meet “climate goals.” They also want to raise farmers’ inheritance taxes. Hey! Maybe they could just wipe out family farms altogether.
Britain needs a new government, ASAP. They’re already importing some 40% of all the food they eat. What will they do if there’s another war and they, as an island nation, find themselves cut off by an enemy blockade? Didn’t think of that, did they?
I didn’t want to write up any nooze today; but this item certainly shows you what can happen when your country is ruled by environmental wackos.
Already cumbered with the highest energy costs in Europe, the United Kingdom has decided to shut down the country’s last two natural gas fracking wells (https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2025/01/31/green-madness-uk-to-fill-last-natural-gas-fracking-wells-with-cement/). Fill ’em with cement.
I doubt Britain will make it into the next century. When they’re not committing Green Energy hara-kiri, they’re changing prime ministers. Like, who’s in charge here?
A politician from the Reform Party summed it up: “We have hundreds of billions of pounds of taxpayer-owned shale gas we should be using.”
Ah! But you can’t use it because Far Left Crazy says you can’t! Gotta Save The Planet, dontcha know. Which we can do by saddling you peasants with abject poverty while we enjoy our private jets and limos.
Currently Britain has no leadership. Why listen to a prime minister who’s going to be out on his kiester after just a few weeks? Why bother? The country’s getting swamped by Muslim immigration, legal and otherwise.
And there’s no King Arthur today to save the place.

Should girls and women have to compete against men who pretend to be females?
The House of Representatives doesn’t think so. A few days ago they voted, 218-206, to ban trannies from girls’ and women’s sports. Only two Democrats voted “yes.” (https://missouriindependent.com/2025/01/15/dc/u-s-house-passes-bill-banning-trans-athletes-from-competing-in-womens-school-sports/)
The bill now goes to the Senate, where Republicans–if only they can stick together–enjoy a 52-48 majority.
My question is, Why do Democrats want to promote “transgender”? The whole party is practically crazy for it. And please don’t tell me it’s some arcane kind of civil rights issue: the right of a man to compete in women’s sports. What bunk.
Oh! Democrats in the Senate argue that a ban of fake women in women’s sports “would empower child predators.”
What??? But that’s how they think–if you want to call it thinking.
A few years ago this character, who’d held a post in the administration of President Batteries Not Included, ran for elective office in California.
Part of his platform was taxpayer-funded abortions for… You guessed it! For men.
Need it be mentioned that this dindle is a Democrat? I wonder where in the government he’s hiding out now. What further mischief is he planning?

Two out of three voters, in a recent CBS “News” poll, said they would like to see a mass deportation of illegal aliens (https://www.foxnews.com/media/cbs-host-shocked-poll-showing-62-registered-voters-support-deporting-illegal-immigrants). The anchor-babe is “perplexed” by this response.
Well, gee: we don’t know who these people are, we don’t know what they mean to do once they get here, we don’t know how to pay for it when they go on the dole, they’re a big part of our burgeoning crime rate… And yet there’s still this one Democrat nut-burger out there, Mr./Ms. 38 %, who thinks it’s not a problem.
President Trump has promised to deport them. After all, they wouldn’t be here if they hadn’t broken our country’s laws. You can still come here legally.

Well, hey! The city of Denver (80% registered Democrats… so it serves them right) is asking residents who have an extra room to take illegal aliens [libs call them “migrants”–“iconic migrants”] into their homes (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/05/denver-sets-up-hotline-encourage-citizens-host-illegals/). You know–like, Junior’s off to college so we can lend his bedroom to this guy who’s in the Latin Kings… is that a band or something?
Denver has cut $8 million from the police budget, to help pay for services to illegal aliens. (Iconic services?) Does this strike you as a happy intersection of public policies?
Oh, just bring ’em into your homes! What could possibly happen that could be all that bad?
But! You vote Democrat… so you asked for it.
It did not have to turn out this way.
I’ve got to tell you about some videos I watched last night.
First, Britain After Rome: The Age of Arthur. They polished off Arthur in a minute or so: I think his name was only included to attract readers. On the whole, though, well worth watching: a history of all the stupid stuff perpetrated by Britain’s rulers after Rome withdrew her legions. Almost instantaneously, Britain’s old, pre-Roman political structures, kingdoms large and small, were back in business.
Although their country was under attack by Irish, Picts, and Anglo-Saxons, the British rulers pursued folly after folly: (1) refusing to defend their borders, (2) fighting among themselves, (3) raising great armies and then packing them off to continental Europe to try to conquer what had once been the Western Roman Empire–and most of the men in those armies never returned and were unavailable for home defense. These self-destructive policies destroyed a realm that could have been successfully defended.
Next, a short analysis by historian Victor Davis Hanson, This Will Be the End of Us. I soon realized it was the same story that I’d just watched, with America and her leaders repeating all the same foolishness which led to the demise of Britain. The same damned story! Every stupid thing they did in Britain in the 6th and 7th centuries, our leaders are doing in America today.
Finally, in a vain attempt to rinse my brain, a Fail Army video: people getting into easily avoidable troubles, painful and expensive troubles visited upon them by their own ridiculously bad decisions. The supply is inexhaustible. And it’s the same damned stupid story! Just on a personal scale.
This year’s elections may indeed be our last chance. But even more important, we need a tidal wave of national repentance. We need God’s protection, we need His guidance–we are getting absolutely nowhere without it.
Britain could have saved herself, but didn’t. The lesson is in neon letters ten feet tall.

Reporter Jacqueline Toboroff has found at least 17 states and cities that have changed their flags to include an 8-point star–which has for centuries been an Islamic symbol. It seems to be replacing America’s traditional 5-point star.

Who voted for this? In a word, nobody. The changes have been pushed through by Far Left Crazy “diversity and inclusion” hacks whom no one elected. A few of these new flags have an Islamic crescent, too–you might easily mistake it for the Turkish or the Pakistani flag.
Gee… I wonder what the reaction would be if they decided to embellish state and city flags with the 6-point Star of David. Think that might touch off a few Mostly Peaceful Protests?
Ms. Toporoff calls this a “cultural coup d’etat.” It doesn’t look like an exaggeration to me.
If your state or city is on the verge of doing this, phone your (heh-heh) elected representatives and tell ’em “No! No! No!”

I wonder how this turned out. It’s a little hard to untangle, but we’ll try.
Montana Democrats a few years ago, all of them, voted against a bill to ban Muslim “sharia law” in their state… which meant that if it were left up to them, Montana would have Muslim law… and it would be, like, okay to put homosexuals to death and force women to go around wrapped up in law ‘n’ leaf bags.
Did the governor, another Democrat, sign the bill after the Republicans in the legislature passed it? Did he veto it, only to be overridden?
I’ll look it up later.
Update: As expected, the Democrat governor vetoed the bill, so it looks like sharia was to be a competent legal system in Montana, at least in 2017. I haven’t been able to find anything more current.
