‘Noozies Yelp Before They’re Bitten’ (2018)

Remember when all the noozies decried Donald Trump’s new nominee for the Supreme Court as “controversial” and “dangerous”–before they even knew who it was?

Noozies Yelp Before They’re Bitten

He could’ve really crossed ’em up by saying he was gonna nominate Al Gore or Hillary Clinton but noozie protests convinced him not to. “If my nominee’s as bad as all that, well, heck, I’ll nominate Brett Kavanagh instead.”

(This presupposes that it’s actually possible to shame or embarrass noozies.)

Another Noozie Gets It Wrong

News anchor fail: Brian Williams apologizes for lying about his ...

They never tell the truth if they can help it.

Somebody really ought to tell America’s nooze reporters to load their mouths with facts before shooting them off.

Heard this on my car radio the other day, but had no Internet access so I couldn’t write about it.

Some noozie said that if George Floyd had been white instead of black, he’d be alive today.

Tony Timpa, in Dallas, and Timothy Coffman, South Daytona, are white men who are not alive today because police officers did to them exactly what was done to George Floyd in Minneapolis–knelt on his neck until it killed him (https://www.dallasnews.com/news/investigations/2019/07/31/you-re-gonna-kill-me-dallas-police-body-cam-footage-reveals-the-final-minutes-of-tony-timpa-s-life/). Exactly the same thing!

What excuse did the, er, “journalist” have for not knowing this? Some might chalk it up to simple ignorance; I call it a reckless disregard of the truth.

But noozies don’t do truth anymore. The truth is not in them. Only “narrative”–a synonym for a story that isn’t true at all but gets told to achieve a political purpose. All they’ve got for us is narrative; and none of it is true.

We Can’t Trust the Nooze

Our free & independent nooze media’s habit of lying whenever it’ll help the Democrat Party has become a threat to public health. How can we proceed wisely, prudently, if we can’t get reliable information?

Why don’t we trust the noozies?

See the clip: “reporters” remove their anti-virus masks as soon as they think the broadcast is over and the cameras are off. We also see some violations of [trumpet fanfare] Social Distancing.

Aren’t they afraid they’ll get sick and die, if they take the mask off? That’s what’s supposed to happen–right? That’s why I have to wear the hot, itchy mask that fogs my glasses; otherwise they won’t let me in the store.

And so, like so many others, I find myself ignorant of the true nature of the Chinese Death Virus From China and its potential for killing us. From supposedly authoritative sources you hear everything from “OMG we’re all gonna die!” to “It’s mostly just a hoax.” And from the media you just hear gloom and doom, with plenty of sturm und drang, every freakin’ day and night.

And meanwhile–when do we get our rights back? They sure got snatched away in a hurry, didn’t they?

What Really Happened?

Thucydides, perhaps the greatest historian of them all, admitted to his readers that, try as he had tried, he’d found it impossible to learn and report what really happened. And he was talking about the Peloponnesian War, in which he served as a general. He even caught the plague. And after the war he traveled all over Greece, interviewing people who’d participated in the war.

And his conclusion: “I’ve done the best I could.” But people’s memories play tricks on them, people lie and then forget they’re lying–and, well, history is hard.

I’ve read a lot about that last Democrat “debate,” and that’s what brought old Thucydides so vividly to mind.

Here we had a widely televised event. Millions of people saw and heard exactly the same thing. At the same time.

And yet the reporting of the event has run the gamut from “A total disaster for Bloomberg–he’s finished!” to “masterful performance by a great candidate!” And all points in between. Good luck, Thucydides, trying to find out what really happened.

What the various reporters and commentators said had very much to do with what they wanted their audience to think. With what agenda they were pushing. It would be nice if we could rely on our free and independent press for honest, accurate, fair, unbiased news reporting. [Allow three full minutes for a storm of sardonic belly-laughs] But that would be like relying on things to fall up instead of down.

The ones who stayed neutral for a while were waiting for their checks to clear.

One thing we can rely on is the certainty that the Democrats are not our friends. Under no circumstances should we vote for one of them. Ever.

I don’t care how they try to package Bloomberg. He’s got that “D” after his name, and really, that’s all I need to know.

The Nooze Went Thataway

Your posse is chasing the robber, and you happen upon a witness. “Which way did he go?” you ask. And without hesitation, the witness replies, “He went thataway”–and points in two different directions.

Not much use, is it? But that’s the state of our nooze media today. For example:

In Headline A, socialist zillionaire George Soros says, “The Tide Has Turned Against Me” (https://dmlnewsapp.com/report-george-soros-declares-tide-turned-populism-rise/).

But in Headline B, Soros says, “The Tide Is Turning Back to Globalists” (https://nworeport.me/2019/10/25/soros-claims-tide-is-turning-back-to-globalists-says-hes-proud-of-having-enemies/).

So which is it? Is everyone who wants to know what the story is supposed to call up Soros and ask him? And then you’d probably get a third answer, totally different from the other two!

If the news is not going to tell you what’s really going on, insofar as humanly possible, then what good is it?

Our country’s founders considered a free press indispensable to our republic. Citizens need accurate information upon which to base their decisions.

We’re not getting much of that, are we?
