[Back from physical therapy, now I have to go to the supermarket. And it’s as hot as blazes out there.]

Election Day is fast approaching. What new disease, what new pandemic, will the Democrats unleash against us this time? And last time, 2020–well, they thought they might take a crack at stopping weddings.

We must never, never, NEVER forget what they did to us in 2020. If they’re able to do it again, all hope for us is lost: too stupid, too timid, to survive.

At least Cuomo’s out of the picture. That has to count for something.

China Tells the NBA and Houston Rockets What to Do Now

Does China own this game?

Remember, six months ago, the pro-freedom protests in Hong Kong–and how furious the Red China government got when a private citizen here in America tweeted his support for the protesters?

Well, they’re still mad.

They’re mad at the National Basketball Assn. for failing to punish Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morley for saying he stood with the Hong Kong protesters (https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/china-still-bitter-wants-houston-rockets-gm-properly-handled-over-hong-kong-support). At the time, the communist regime cut off all NBA television coverage, blocked NBA merchandise, and refused to be mollified when all sorts of NBA executives and stars got down on their bellies and groveled to them.

The Chinese government’s house newspaper, “The Global Times,” has suggested that normal relations between China and the NBA could be restored… if Mr. Morley were “properly handled.” That’s Red Chinese for “put to death.” They did demand that the GM be fired, but the NBA commissioner said no. It would’ve made for a nice lawsuit if he’d said yes.

Big star LeBron James has been licking the Chicoms’ boots, big-time, expounding that Morley is just “not educated on the situation”–if he were “educated,” surely he would understand that Red China has an absolute right to crush Hong Kong–and that free speech is tricky because there are “a lot of negatives that come with it.” Blah-blah. Too bad we can’t banish him to China for a while.

It’s all because of all the money the NBA could make, doing business in China: there’s gold in them thar hills. And dazzled by the prospect of getting even richer than they already are, they’ll sell out Hong Kong in a nanosecond. I think they’ll sell out anybody, including Uncle Sam.

Western greed, short-sightedness, and total lack of moral standards–these are the things that built Red China into a superpower. This is a monster we created.

Will China ever be free?

More to the point–can America stay free? For what price will we sell ourselves down the river?

But that’s just rhetoric. It’s our home-grown fat cats who are going to sell us. We won’t get anything out of it but tears.

We Can’t Trust the Nooze

Our free & independent nooze media’s habit of lying whenever it’ll help the Democrat Party has become a threat to public health. How can we proceed wisely, prudently, if we can’t get reliable information?

Why don’t we trust the noozies?

See the clip: “reporters” remove their anti-virus masks as soon as they think the broadcast is over and the cameras are off. We also see some violations of [trumpet fanfare] Social Distancing.

Aren’t they afraid they’ll get sick and die, if they take the mask off? That’s what’s supposed to happen–right? That’s why I have to wear the hot, itchy mask that fogs my glasses; otherwise they won’t let me in the store.

And so, like so many others, I find myself ignorant of the true nature of the Chinese Death Virus From China and its potential for killing us. From supposedly authoritative sources you hear everything from “OMG we’re all gonna die!” to “It’s mostly just a hoax.” And from the media you just hear gloom and doom, with plenty of sturm und drang, every freakin’ day and night.

And meanwhile–when do we get our rights back? They sure got snatched away in a hurry, didn’t they?

You’d better not look sick!

The coronavirus panic has moved a Michigan judge to rule that individuals can be arrested and held–without medication!–for up to 72 hours if police or “health officials” suspect him or her of being infected with the virus (https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/michigan-judge-authorizes-arresting-people-on-suspicion-of-covid-19-illness).

The “suspect”–is this crazy, or what?–may be “held for at least three days to confirm he or she is without a fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 72 consecutive hours (without the use of fever-reducing medication)…”

Probable cause? We don’t need no stinking probable cause.

So they not only arrest you and “forcibly isolate” you for three days because some pipsqueak “suspects” you of having the virus; but if you really are sick, they’re not going to give you any medicine!

What’s with Michigan? The governor has been slapped with two federal lawsuits (so far!) for her heavy-handed “orders” imposed upon the populace. And there’s a recall petition against her with a couple hundred thousand signatures already.

Are our state and local governments becoming a more serious threat to our country than any disease? Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has become the poster gal for Mussolini wannabes. When they start forbidding you to plant your garden, as Whitmer has done, you know they’ve gone overboard.

Can Americans’ liberties really be lost so swiftly? Is it really that easy for a mayor or a governor to become a dictator?

They need taking down a peg, but good.
