‘Curses, Foiled Again! No Sea Level Rise for New York, Washington, D.C.’ (2016)

If only we’d paid higher taxes!

Well, we don’t have to shed crocodile tears for New York (“glub-glub-glub!”) and Washington, D.C. capsizing (“Man the lifeboats!”) on account of rising sea levels due to [trumpet fanfare] Global Warming, now repackaged as Climate Change.

Curses, Foiled Again! No Sea Level Rise for New York, Washington D.C.

Gee, imagine the FBI going underwater before they can spy on any more parents who object to local school board policies. Imagine Elizabeth Warren and Chuck Schumer fighting over a set of water wings.

Unfortunately, the sea level did not rise and all the predictions were baloney. New York and Washington are still here. You decide whether that makes the country better or worse off.

‘Brown U. Aborts Its Own Study (‘Cause They Didn’t Like What They Found)’ (2018)

This is how “science” is done anymore: if you don’t like what your scientific study tells you, you shut it down. If it isn’t giving you the answer you want to hear, terminate it.

Brown U. Aborts Its Own Study (‘Cause They Didn’t Like What They Found)

Brown University had a study of gender-bending which strongly suggested the whole thing was something less than real–so they shut it down. Didn’t want to offend the trannies.

I have never in my life seen anything as bizarre and unreal as the whole “transgender” movement.

Our colleges and universities are the cauldron in which this evil is brewed.

Science Ethics Crumbling, Investigators Say

America’s top scientists are falling like tenpins over newly-disclosed ethics violations (https://www.yahoo.com/news/fall-top-us-scientists-points-ethics-gap-research-045350389.html), Yahoo News reports. Payola ain’t just for disc jockeys anymore.

Just to name three:

*A scientist who has authored “hundreds of articles on cancer research” has taken “millions of dollars” from pharmaceutical and medical supplies companies.

*Cornell has demanded the resignation of a top food scientist who reported “surprisingly positive results in dozens of his articles,” thirteen of which have already been pulled from the journals.

*A public health professor at Dartmouth has been credibly accused of rather a lot of plagiarism.

The scientific establishment has been reluctant to discuss these incidents, said one source, for fear “it would aid and abet anti-science forces,” whoever they might be. Well, we can’t have people being anti-science, can we? They might turn into Climate Change deniers. And everybody must believe in Evolution!

To those of us who grew up in the Fifties, in the Sputnik generation, Science was presented as the unimpeachable be-all and end-all of human endeavor. Sooner or later, Science would solve all our problems. Suddenly all the TV commercials featured actors in white lab coats: “Scientific studies say our product is the best!” We were expected to believe them, because Science never lies; and most of us did.

“Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?” says the Bible (Isaiah 2:22). Right on.

Scientists are sinners like the rest of us. They are not unimpeachable fountains of pure truth. I suppose they might still be more honest than journalists, but that’s setting the bar about as low as you can set it without laying it on the ground.

Climate Change Gang Sinks to New Low

I’ve always considered it the nadir of decency to try to win a political argument by roping children into it. I hated it when I was a reporter. Teachers want a raise: they trot out the kiddies to plead for it. Politicians want to raise your taxes: “It’s for the children.” Disgusting.

Now the Global Warming mongers at the Weather Channel are exhorting children to nag their parents about “Climate Change” ( http://www.climatedepot.com/2016/11/03/the-weather-channel-uses-young-kids-to-promote-global-warming-fears-dear-mom-dad-climate-change-could-be-very-catastrophic/ ). Notice they want the kiddies to warn mommy and daddy that Man-Made Climbit Change “could be very catastrophic.” Is there such a thing as slightly catastrophic?

They’ve even got a poster for the li’l ones, that reads, “Climate Change is real, it’s bad, and it’s caused by humans.” It’s not real, such “climate change” as there is in nature is caused by natural forces which no government, no matter how big, can control, and if you’re stuck living in the Sahara, maybe a little change in the climate might be welcome.

They also seek to equip the kiddies with such gems of unanswerable wisdom as “This year [plug in any year] was the hottest year on record,” and, of course, the meaningless and incredible pseudo-statistic, “97% of scientists” believe in Man-Made Global Warming and we’re all gonna die unless the gubmint gets a lot bigger and a lot more power in a hurry, blah-blah.

We note in passing that John Coleman, one of the founders of the Weather Channel, calls Man-Made Climate Change “baloney.”

Well, there you have it. Liberals can’t win arguments by employing reason, let alone facts: for them, there are only politically useful pseudo-facts. Also known as lies. But when all else fails, they can bring on The Children. And anyone who doesn’t buy what those liberals are selling is against The Children, boo, hiss!

God must be really, really mad at us, to allow us to be lorded over by such slimy people.

I pray that we’ll repent with all our hearts, and that then He’ll forgive us and get rid of them.
