County School Board Pushes ‘Transgender’

I’ve been to see the accountant, I’ve written my Newswithviews column for the week, I’ve typed up a chapter of my book–and now it’s time to revisit the wonderful world of public education! (Thanks, I think, to Linda for the news tip.)

The Fairfax County, Virginia, Board of Education has approved a new sex-ed curriculum in which the kiddies will be taught that “gender is fluid” and, in the words of one of the board’s sages, “Biological sex is meaningless!” (https://fellowshipoftheminds.com/2018/06/05/virginia-school-board-tells-kids-they-werent-born-male-or-female/)

Okay, here’s what I want to know. Who thinks this is a good idea–and why? We don’t see any of these board members submitting to radical surgery and pumping themselves full of hormones to “transition” to another sex. Why don’t leftids themselves ever do the damned things they want everybody else to do?

Come on, there must be some loon out there who can bring us up to speed on the benefits of this kind of teaching. If you’ve got a computer in your rubber room, we’d love to hear from you.

And we’re still waiting for parents to explain why they send their kids to public schools to be educated by nuts and morons.

Bio Prof Says You Must Be a Biggit If You Think There Are Only Two Sexes

No, this is not a Joe Collidge gag. A biology professor at San Jose State–her defense of her inane statements is “I am an expert” (and you ain’t!)–has declared that “chromosomes don’t determine sex” and “high school biology” was wrong for teaching that they do (https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10309).

She erupted in response to a tweet made by a Texas state legislator, who posted pictures of the XX (female) and XY (male) chromosomes “to remind people how many sexes there are.”

He did this, charged the academic gasbag, “for a bigoted purpose.”

She declines to answer her critics because she’s a Big Scientist and they’re not. Anyhow, “‘Gender’ is described as the psychological and/or the emotional identity,” yadda-yadda.

Hey! Is “science” even science anymore? It behaves more like it’s just window-dressing for assorted leftid ideologies.

The prof adds that “intersex and ambiguously sexed individuals” constitute 1% of the population. One out of every hundred people you know. Really? What if you don’t spend all your time on a collidge campus, where such persons are likely to congregate? Is she talking about the real world, or her world?

America has too many colleges, too many professors, and way too many college students “learning” pure crapola from overpaid idiots. De-fund the universities now. Before it’s too late.

If You’re ‘In the Mood’ in Sweden, Hold That Thought

Ah! Romance among the leftids!

Under a new Swedish law that will go into effect in July 2018, no one can have sex without at least the verbal consent–and probably written consent as well–of both pratners: otherwise, it might be rape. The law doesn’t say “written,” but… “in a potential rape allegation, it would be wiser to have the permission written down on paper.” Maybe the government could provide standard forms. So if you’re “in the mood,” try to stay in it long enough to fill out the paperwork.

The law was inspired by the #MeToo campaign. Every woman has been sexual harassed or abused, and every man is guilty. Until it all burns itself out a couple of months from now.

Hey! Remember when all the leftids were screaming, “Keep the government out of our bedrooms!” Now they’re screaming, “Get the government into our bedrooms!”

The one and only newspaper columnist who voiced opposition to the new law was promptly fired. Diversity allows no room for dissent.

And despite what everybody knows to be the case, but won’t admit, the government refuses to release statistics on the “ethnic backgrounds” of rapists. Hint: Muslim “asylum seekers” declare it’s a righteous act for a Muslim man to rape an infidel woman. But to mention that might move someone to question the government’s wisdom in importing, en masse, Muslim males of military age.

Government makes a rotten god and an even worse master.

Prof Wants All White People to Pay ‘Reparations’ for Slavery

I find it rather hard to empathize with Georgetown U. Sociology Prof. Michael Dyson. He has a tenured position. I don’t. He will have a nice pension when he retires. I won’t. He probably owns a home. I don’t.

And yet he thinks I should pay him my money as “reparations” for slavery that ended in America 150 years ago. He has never been a slave, I have never owned a slave (or even met one, or known anyone who’d ever seen one), but I have to pay.

Over my dead body, sunshine.

I missed this story when it came out in January. Dyson has recommended that white people–he has not defined “white,” which may keep people of mixed racial ancestry (that is, most of us) on tenterhooks–ought to set up “Individual Reparations Accounts” to pay back people who have never been slaves for slavery that ended 150 years ago. This, he says, is not so much to grab money that the recipients never worked for as to “force white people to confront their own privilege and consider why you possess what you possess.” Then again, he looks forward to receiving other people’s money. “I ain’t turning down $25 million,” says the Ph. D.

I confess I find it hard to imagine the mental landscape of any individual so wanting in honesty, fairness, decency, and self-respect. If he had a little more integrity, he’d be a mugger.

Those who send their sons and daughters to Georgetown ought to be ashamed of themselves. They’re paying this freeloader’s salary and pension.

I really don’t see how “white privilege” or “systemic racism” or the Bossa Nova kept him out of an extremely comfortable and secure position. Do you?

The Libs’ Tower of Babel

When He saw men building the Tower of Babel, that they might build it all the way to heaven, God said, “Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” (Genesis 11:7)

Secular utopian fat-heads are always trying to be our gods. They claim they’re going to do things–if not yet, then eventually–that they say God should have done, but didn’t do because He doesn’t exist. They also try to do whatever the Bible says God did.

So now they want to confuse our language so we can’t communicate anymore.

Freedom is everywhere under fire. Up in Canada, the legislature is working on Bill C-16, a sort of “transgender rights” bill intended to do–well, who knows what? The bill would “add gender identity” and “gender expression” to the “list of pr0hibited grounds of discrimination,” and calls for harsher penalties to be levied against any crime motivated by hate ( https://openparliament.ca/bills/42-1/C-16/ ). If you think that’s not a problem, please note that “hate” is not defined in the legislation. And anyhow, how many crimes are actually motivated by altruistic love?

Remember, the Ontario Human Rights Commission, the Orcs from OHRC, define “discrimination”–which is against the law, and punishable–as any “negative treatment… intentional or not.” It’s always tricky when they can send you to jail for something you didn’t know you were doing when you did it.

Canada’s Christian Heritage Party points out that one of the baleful effects of C-16, if enacted into law, would be to confuse the language by forcing people to use newfangled ridiculous pronouns invented by collidge numbskulls to replace objectionable words like “he,” “she,” “him,” “her,” etc. ( https://www.chp.ca/commentary/the-frog-that-wouldnt-boil )

Like they tell the students at dear old Rutgers University, there is no freedom of speech so you’d better just shut up. You can’t get into any trouble if you remain mute for the whole time you’re there. And don’t write anything, either!

So let’s put the whole country under the whip for the sake of a minority within a minority–there are doubtless more idiots praising and coddling “transgendered persons” than there are “transgendered persons.”

And what it’s really all about, what it’s always all about, is a bunch of atheist puffballs trying to sit where God sits and be worshiped as He is worshiped.
