In all probability, I’ve posted this before. But with me losing internet access every two or three minutes, I don’t have time to be choosy.
We’re fixin’ it, we’re fixin’ it, they said….
Am I Here or Not?
Well, well, they were supposed to fix our problem yesterday; but whatever they did, they killed our internet access. Killed it dead.
So we called again today, and this time the promise was that our access would be restored this afternoon or early in the evening.
If this post gets published, does that mean it’s fixed?
We have learned not to expect people to do the things they say they’re going to do.
Meanwhile, this business has made a shambles of this blog, just about a smoking ruin. Viewership is now dropped back down to 2015 levels. All that work undone!
Wonder how long it’ll take to build it up again.
Internet According to Lee
I’m here again to let you all know Verizon, while in the process of “fixing” Lee’s internet connection, managed to knock it out completely. Lee has spoken with Verizon and is hoping their promise to fix it as soon as possible will happen this time.
Still Ain’t Fixed
Well, we’re closing in on that 48 hours Verizon said would be needed to fix our internet outage.
This little post disappeared while I was writing this.
I’d better post it now before it conks out again.

Kids have been out of public school and out of college now for several months, thanks to The Great Quarantine Which We Gotta Have To Ward Off The Extinction Event Etc. But eventually the powers that be will expect you to send them back. Here’s a reminder of what public education does.
If you’re currently homeschooling your child, or pursuing your college studies online–well, I hope you know when you’re well off.
Because nobody needs what public education does to a human mind.

Dogs & Kittens
I can’t help but marvel at how gentle and patient these dogs are with the little tiny kittens. Well, there’s a bulldog who’s enjoying a kitten-sicle, but he means well. And dig the dog helping the kitten play with the string. I never saw a dog play with a string before. It was kind of like seeing a turtle do it.
Progress, Maybe?
Well, I’ve posted Joe Collidge’s timeless essay, and supposedly Verizon is working on fixing the outage at their central office–and I’ve loaded a cat video for this evening.
We’re still getting bounced out of internet access, again and again; but now the bounce-outs seem to be getting much shorter. Maybe by tomorrow it’ll all be back to normal. As in “We’ve got ’em now, boys!” said General Custer.
