Whatever they want to put in, whatever they want to take out…

Hey, how’s that little science project goin’? The one from a few years back–the “computer interface” that’ll allow criminals for whom no name has yet been invented to break into our minds and steal… us.

Humanist Poison–and the Antidote

Yowsah, yowsah! Once they Interface you, they can take stuff out and thrust stuff in just as they please… and you become a kind of sock puppet.

Pray hard, work hard, sing louder. There is intense evil running loose today. May the Lord Our God deliver us.

‘Harry Potter’ Creator Defies Scotland ‘Hate’ Law

J.K. Rowling: Pictures Of The 'Harry Potter' Author ...

J.K. Rowling–will she become Scotland’s Public Enemy No. 1?

When I was a boy, the Iron Curtain cut off communist Eastern Europe from the rest of the world. It fell when the Soviet Union collapsed.

But now it’s being raised again–in Scotland.

And J.K. Rowling, who wrote the Harry Potter books, has successfully defied it (https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/uk-government-backs-jk-rowling-scottish-hate-crime-law-challenge-2024-04-02/).

Openly daring Scottish police to arrest her for the new crime of “misgendering,” Rowling listed ten “trans-women” celebrities as men–which in fact they are.

And the police backed down.

Scottish police officials say they anticipate many complaints regarding social media posts; but meanwhile, they’re not coming after Rowling. Apparently the next Harry Potter story won’t have to be written in a prison cell.

Furthermore, Rowling has pledged her support for anyone who gets charged with a hate crime for stating a common-sense biological fact.

Is J.K. Rowling the last person in Scotland who supports free speech? The only one who refuses to say things which are not true, but only demanded politically? And what kind of country do you have, wherein everyone must pay lip service to a doctrine based on a lie?

What would William Wallace do?

When It’s Okay to Ignore the First Amendment

First Amendment Stock Photos - 6,928 Images | Shutterstock

I’m going to write this up for Newswithviews, but I think the subject is important enough to justify giving you a sneak preview here.

As we read this, the U.S. Supreme Court is hearing a case in which the government argues that it’s okay to suspend the First Amendment if that’s what it takes to deal with an emergency–in this case, a “Once-in-a-lifetime Pandemic” (https://thefederalist.com/2024/03/18/federal-government-claims-once-in-a-lifetime-pandemic-excuses-first-amendment-violations/). Yowsah, yowsah, we gotta do what we gotta do!

Uh-huh… Until it becomes apparent that they’re all once-in-a-lifetime emergencies that must be tackled with whatever it takes. Suddenly election interference and Hunter Biden’s laptop furnish excuses for suspending that pesky First Amendment.

God help us if the Court lets them get away with this.

But I’m afraid He won’t help us. I mean, why should He?

Liberty: An Endangered Species

File:The Assyrian king Shalmaneser III receives tribute from ...

Bowing to the Assyrian king and licking his boots: some things never change.

(All right–no nooze tips came in, but I’m back to work anyway.)

I can no longer fight off the conviction that everywhere in the world, what we know as freedom, as liberty, is under attack.

Canada. Germany. United Kingdom. It’s a long list–countries where “government” seems determined to wipe out basic freedoms. Like, let’s all go back to giving the state absolute power over us and our property. Free speech? Naah–people say the wrong things! Honest elections? Forsooth, no! Democrats would never win.

Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka… I can’t keep track.

And right here at home: Can’t beat the Republican candidate? Get him jailed! Conservatives on social media? The State has no authority to censor them–so they’ll get assorted cats’ paws to do it for ’em. “We can’t shut you up, but our friends and toadies in the corporate world can!”

Well, it never was going to be easy, was it? Rome had a republic–and they wrecked it. “Power” means power over others; and the human race is addicted to it. Every now and then something like the Declaration of Independence or the Bill of Rights comes along and spoils their fun; but they’ll keep on attacking those principles until they wear them down.

Pray for freedom.

And work for it.

German Cops Bust Teen… For Posting Smurf Video (?!)

Holy moly! Smurf Scandal!

German police recently marched into a high school and arrested a 16-year-old student–for posting a Smurf video (!) with a political message (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/german-police-go-full-gestapo-as-16-year/). Three cops had the girl pulled out of class and hauled off to the station. Yes, I said three.

What were they afraid of? What had this high school kid done to menace The State?

Well, she expressed her support for the AfD Party (“Alternative for Germany”), accused of “Euro-skepticism” (ooh!) and opposing immigration: which, in the state’s view–although it is not illegal to agree with the AfD, or to support its positions–equals “incitement of hatred” and  “anti-constitutionalism.” Oh–and “too much national pride.”

That slurping sound in the background is American Democrats licking their lips for envy.

The girl was not charged with any crime, possibly because she hadn’t committed one. No, said officials, this was just “a preventive measure.” Also known as intimidation. Other kids’ll think twice now before they post any Smurf videos! Or express sympathy for any political party that The State doesn’t like.

Coming soon to a country near you–“Preventive Measures.”

Washington’s New ‘Hate Crime’ Law

Gag Stock Photos and Pictures - 17,529 Images | Shutterstock

Hey! If somebody says or writes or thinks anything you might find offensive, wouldn’t it be great if you could dial a state “bias incident” hot line and rat him out? As for how you prove the case–well, nobody’s talking about that, are they?

Washington’s state legislature has passed such a bill, creating such a hot line, and the governor is expected to sign it into law (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/democrat-governor-set-criminalize-free-speech-washington-state/). It goes into effect in 2027.

Yessir, they’re “combating hate crimes” and forbidding any “hostile expression of animus toward another person” belonging to any one of the usual assortment of protected groups who must not be criticized. If I list them all here, this post will be too long.

Will it be a crime, punishable by the state, if you call someone a lazy bum, a doofus, or an ill-informed motormouth, etc.? Is this a new kind of perpetual kindergarten? “If you can’t say anything nice, then just shut up already”? I don’t know how we’re supposed to live that way, with Big Brother always set to pounce.

Our country’s founders thought they’d given us a limited government. But that was before Blue states were invented.

‘College Just Gets Worse and Worse’ (2020)

59,180 Professor Stock Photos - Free & Royalty-Free Stock ...

“Off with your head, blast your eyes!”

It’s increasingly difficult–well, all right, jolly impossible–to believe certain people in (LOL) “authority” are NOT purposely trying to destroy our country. What else would you call it, what “higher education” does?

College Just Gets Worse and Worse

Here we had a student punished by college fat-heads–er, “authorities”–for disputing a Muslim professor’s assertion, made in front of the class, that the crucifixion of Jesus Christ was a hoax.

If he’d said Islam was a hoax, he almost certainly would have been murdered.

Look at ’em all lined up to knock us down: Democrat Party, Uniparty, Hollywood, nooze media, teachers’ unions, communist and Muslim “professors,” rioters recruited for the purpose–it’s kind of amazing we’re still here. Still standing.

But I don’t think our enemies listed above intend to leave us that way.

Canada’s New ‘Pre-Crime’ Bill

Monopoly board jail hi-res stock photography and images - Alamy

Up in Canada they hate “hate” and mean to do something about it.

Do what? Bill C-63 contemplates subjecting to house arrest–with an “electric tag” to keep you honest!–individuals who might commit a “hate crime” (undefined!) sometime in the future… even if he hasn’t committed any crime as yet (https://www.theglobeandmail.com/politics/article-justice-minister-defends-house-arrest-power-for-people-feared-to/).

Punishment first, criminal act later!

It’s part of an “online harms bill” being pushed by Canada’s (LOL) Justice Minister, Arif Virani, who is also the Attorney General. But don’t worry, he says. They won’t go overboard with this.

Honk if you believe it. [Cue in chirping crickets.]

Let’s just lock up anyone who might commit a crime someday! Here in America, it would be blatantly unconstitutional. But who knows? Another Democrat presidency, and we might see a few executive orders along these lines. Libs are always jealous of what their counterparts get away with in countries that are not America.

Will They Steal This Year’s Election?

The Roman Forum: only ruins left to tell the tale.

You’ve got to read this.

As reported by The Federalist, a mob of deep state entities are plotting to rig this year’s national elections by means of “massive state-sponsored censorship on-line” (https://thefederalist.com/2024/02/20/government-backed-censors-who-rigged-the-2020-election-are-now-stealing-2024/). In fact, reporter John D. Davidson goes so far as to state that we now have a full-blown “on-line censorship industry.”

I am reminded of those distressing chapters of the Books of Kings and Chronicles in the Bible: God sent one prophet after another to warn His people to change their ways, but no one listened–with the notable exceptions of Kings Hezekiah and Josiah. Israel and Judah continued on their evil ways until they were conquered and taken into captivity by Assyria and Babylon.

George Washington–in a very real sense the father of our country–warned us, as a prophet would have: government is an unreliable servant and a fearful master.

It seems to be growing more so as we speak.

If our elections are irretrievably compromised, that’s the end of our Constitutional republic. History is full of deplorable examples, starting with the collapse of the Roman republic. We have no exemption. We will either preserve our liberty or lose it.

But read Mr. Davidson; he has all the details.

France: New Law ‘Defends the Science’

The History of the Guillotine

Will they be bringing back the guillotine? Gotta defend that Science!

See if you can understand this. I can’t.

*Western Europe (NATO) pours vast amounts of money into Ukraine to protect its freedom.

*At the same time, these same countries work overtime to shut down the freedom of their own citizens.

Hence a new law in France which makes it a crime, punishable by imprisonment, “to criticize the science” (https://wmbriggs.substack.com/p/frances-confusing-new-law-criminalizing?). As one French opinionator put it, the new law “will not tolerate any criticism of the therapeutic treatments recommended or made obligatory by the state.” Because, after all, when you’re “defending the science,” whatever the Experts say trumps everybody else–especially when the Experts are wedded to the politicians.

[Note: Even the French can’t be wrong about everything. The new law also forbids sexual mutilation: your friendly tranny doctor could go to prison for lopping off children’s sexual organs. How this ever got past the Socialists astounds me.]

So… If you live in France and they come up with another Pandemic, and another so-called vaccine that seems to kill half the people who get it… Just zip your lip shut if you know what’s good for you!

And move. If you can find a place where they’re not trying to abolish freedom.
