Here’s one from five years ago that you might enjoy today. Do we, as Christians, really believe that Eve had a conversation with a serpent? ‘Cause atheists believe we’re schmoes for believing what’s published in the Bible.

But boy howdy, the stuff that they believe in! “Progress” (don’t make me laugh). Here’s a good one–Big Government. And how about “You can change your gender”? Good grief, a talking snake seems like pretty small potatoes compared to those crapola vessels. By all that’s preposterous, several million people voted last month to make Kamalalala Harris president! Anybody home up there?

No one on this earth is without faith. It’s just a matter of where you put it.

Faith and Reason

God gave us reason as a gift, and meant that we should use it. That it has led some to worship “reason” as a god, while rejecting God Himself, is only what we might expect from a fallen world. Or they can worship “Science.”

All those things are idols. They function when used properly. But like the feller said, a doormat makes a mighty fine doormat but a mighty poor god.

We know that actors, as a class, are not very smart. But every now and then, one of them rises to a level of stupidity that can only make the others gnash their teeth with envy.

Like, for instance, complaining about “religion” as the source of all the problems of the world.

I’ve had three years to continue thinking about this. I went to college and it just about killed my religion. Worse–I didn’t even realize it. It took me 30 years to get back on track.
