What are they hiding behind those shades?

There was plenty of warning that the 2020 election was going to be as dirty as can be. In Texas, in 2019, they found 95,000 “voters” illegally registered. But that sort of thing was cropping up all over the country.

And as we have seen, ever since that travesty, Democrats and noozies and other liars have been insisting that the 2020 election was as pure as the driven snow and anyone who says otherwise ought to be tossed into prison.

Be warned. They are going to cheat in this election, too. 2024 is a make-or-break year. Will it be another convenient pandemic? A war that no one expected? Maybe another Jan. 6-type “emergency.” They’re full of tricks.

They do not mean for our constitutional republic to survive this decade.

I thought we were going to have supper last night, but instead I was summoned to take Robbie to the veterinary hospital.

She’s still there. We hope to have her home tomorrow.

I don’t understand: she didn’t seem all that sick, and now they’re telling us she’s at death’s door? Don’t these people ever heal any of their patients? I can’t believe people become vets just to get rich. Indeed, Robbie’s regular doctor called us a few minutes ago just to see how she’s doing. But neither did I understand why they had me sit there and stew for two hours.

I know some people don’t get it, why we set such store by a cat. I’m too tired now to try to explain it. I also know that many of you won’t need an explanation.

I’d have thought that dog was way too big to get stuck under a couch, but obviously I’d be wrong. I also can’t figure out why the man we hear offstage doesn’t just tilt the sofa so the dog can come out.

“Wildly successful” says the governor

They’re blaming it on COVID pandemic school closings–well, they’ve got to say something, don’t they? But whatever the cause, “tens of thousands more children” since 2019-20 have been pulled from Florida’s public schools; and more than a few of those schools, officials warn, may have to be closed (https://www.politico.com/news/2024/05/26/desantis-florida-school-closures-00159926).

Since 2019-20, enrollment in Florida’s charter schools is up by 68,000, with another 50,000 now being homeschooled. Public schools are facing what are described as “staggering enrollment declines.”

Gov. Ron DeSantis calls Florida’s policies encouraging school choice “wildly successful.”

Calloo, callay, O frabjous day! says I.

Public education has had this coming. When the schools closed for COVID, parents scrambled to find other ways to educate their children. And those who opted for online education provided by the public schools were taken aback by the Far Left indoctrination they were finally seeing for themselves. “Educators” tried to prevent the parents from watching what was on their children’s computer screens, but had no power to do so.

Which never, never, never prompted them to cut back their woke propaganda and do some real teaching for a change. The teachers’ unions planted their flag in Lefty Land and refused to retreat an inch.

And now, with other states poised to follow Florida’s example, the bill is coming due.

How many politicians would it take to match the late Bobby Caldwell for bringing people together and making them happy? The whole business of “Race” just flies out the window.

Democrats, if white and black people can come together–as they do over Caldwell’s music–you’re toast. Say goodnight and pack it in. “Divide and rule” only works when people detest each other: largely aided and abetted by the Democrat Party.

So they nominated Biden because he was the least freaky candidate they had, they tacked on Kamala to get black votes, they played the COVID card for all it was worth, and then–well, they had the voting machines, didn’t they? That 2020 election stank on toast.

They Don’t Care Who It Hurts

They treat our presidential election like a high school prom queen contest. Like it doesn’t matter who wins, it doesn’t matter who’s got the nuclear launch codes, as long as every bellyaching Cherished Minority gets a turn?

There’s a lot of buzz about getting rid of Biden before the election, but I don’t believe it, for the following reasons:

*Who else have they got? Name one Democrat candidate who isn’t worse than SloJo.

*They’ll have to buy off Kamala with a federal judgeship. Could get tricky if there are no vacancies.

*Jill Biden won’t take this lying down.

Whatever the case, the farthest thing from their minds is the welfare of the country. You can take that to the bank.

Having a Horrible Time

And a little later, the cramps kicked in…

Well, I didn’t return yesterday evening, did I? Just as we were about to have supper, the vet called to summon me immediately to the special veterinary hospital, state-of-the-art, sit there for hours…

And the bottom line is, there isn’t much that they can do, other than hit us up for great gobs of money. I had to leave Robbie there overnight for more tests and a “consultation” sometime today.

Thunderstorm and torrential downpour on my way home. Think that slows up Jersey drivers on the highway? It’s just a challenge to them.

Painful cramps woke me up three times last night.

As for what today holds, I have absolutely no idea. I’ll try to do as much of my work as I can: better than sitting around fretting and fuming.

I just can’t take any more nooze today. The picture it presents resembles a Three Stooges pie fight. That’s our politics, these days.

Gee, I wish they’d all just shut up and have a pie fight! Which public figure would you most like to see smacked with a pie in the face? Politician, celebrity, washed-up actor… enough to keep a lot of bakeries busy.

I shall return later with a critter video.
