‘UK Teens Can’t Tell Time’ (2018)

For high school use only

How old were you when you learned to tell time? How long did it take you to learn?

The world’s high schools are full of teens who can’t answer those two questions. They never learned to read a clock.

UK Teens Can’t Tell Time

Being educated by “educators” is a serious disadvantage. When I was in second grade they thought I was stupid because I couldn’t read the blackboard. The reason I couldn’t read it was that I was growing near-sighted and my seat was toward the back of the classroom. I didn’t complain because I was just seven years old and didn’t realize that I had a problem that could be fixed.

I got “smart” very soon after getting my first pair of glasses.

Flash! Kids Don’t Like School!

6,300+ Kid Sleeping In Class Stock Photos, Pictures ...

It’s supposed to be boring–right?

How are the teachers’ unions going to spin this?

More and more, children of all ages are saying that they don’t like school–75% of high school students, in a Yale study, said they were tired and bored and stressed (out of 21,000 sampled). And there are very many reports of children as young as kindergarten crying because they don’t want to go to school. Here’s just one of many: https://www.reddit.com/r/Parenting/comments/11qo0o5/my_kindergartener_crys_and_not_wanting_to_go_to/

Frankly, if I had a child who said he liked to go to school each day, I’d be afraid there was something wrong with him.

When I was in grade school, of course, there was boredom and bullying and all that; but at the same time, there was no “You’re a white person, so that makes you a bad person,” “You are probably some gender other than the one they say you were born with,” “You only think you’re a girl,” etc., etc., etc.–the whole 21st century Education Fun-Pak.

Remember when they closed the schools for COVID, and kids had to, um, “learn” online, at home? And remember how shocked you were, when you overheard those, er, “lessons”?

Imagine how much worse it’d be, having to sit there all day, five days a week, and listen to this ****. Of course you’re tired and bored and stressed.

And then they teach your kiddies what a rotten no-good country we have here in America and how it needs Fundamental Transformation, blah-blah. Your tax dollars at work!

Do your kids a favor and pull them out of public school.

Chicago Parents Sue Teachers’ Union

33 OT:Moses Confronts Pharaoh ideas in 2024 | moses, bible ...

“Let my people go!”

“Why should I? We’ve got a good thing goin’ here!”

[Thanks to Susan for the nooze tip.]

A Chicago public school teacher makes an income roughly twice that of the average Chicago taxpayer. Nevertheless, in January of 2022, Chicago’s teachers went on strike–supposedly to protect themselves from COVID–and shut down the schools.

Now a group of parents is suing the teachers’ union for that (https://www.thecentersquare.com/illinois/article_ede07ed0-eaca-11ee-b493-f3806ce592c8.html#:~:text=The%20lawsuits%2C%20filed%20by%20attorneys,cope%20with%20additional%20financial%20strains.).

Hey! I’ve got a question that I haven’t heard anyone ask.

The whole time schools were closed because the teachers were on strike, was everybody still paying school tax? Talk about getting Nothing for your money! And having to keep the kiddies home, say the parents’ lawyers, meant *unexpected costs, *unpaid leave from work, and *additional financial strains.”

And when you looked into it at any depth, it was just about Chicago politics, with the teachers’ union aspiring to be a power broker (Ya mean it isn’t?).

People, people! Public education, teachers’ unions, DEI officers, “school officials” pulling down six-figure incomes–these are not your friends.

Don’t wait for Pharaoh to let the people go. Just go.

Paid to Be Parrots

Cigarettes? Over my dead body. Teens join zombie walk

“Zombies are coming”? Heck, they’re already here.

The Long Beach, California, Unified School District is paying high school students $1,400 each (other people’s money, of course) to be “social justice warriors” (https://nypost.com/2024/03/07/us-news/calif-school-district-pays-activist-group-taxpayer-funds-to-push-social-justice/).

Selected (by whom? how? we don’t know) teens are given professionally printed protest signs and scripts written by heaven knows who. The kids are called “interns”–couldn’t you just scream?–and are paid to recite, mindlessly, what some “activists” have written.

The district collects school taxes and then doles ’em out to Far Left racist freaks–“Californians for Justice”– who say the money is to train “youth of color” (YOX?) to be community organizers… with a dash of anti-Israel sentiment tossed in for good luck. The district has forked over some $2 million since 2019, and is currently on a $900,000 contract with the race hustlers.

Hello! How is this remotely, conceivably, lawful? Yes, there are “school personnel” in Long Beach who object to it–and very, very quietly, too! And while we’re at it, what the devil is “racial justice,” and how is it different from just plain justice? Who gets picked to receive a $1,400 payoff and who doesn’t?

People! Public education is not your friend! Long Beach schools have 65,500 children in them, all getting brainwashed by Far Left creeps.

Take your kids out of there while you still can.

‘College Just Gets Worse and Worse’ (2020)

“Off with your head, blast your eyes!”

It’s increasingly difficult–well, all right, jolly impossible–to believe certain people in (LOL) “authority” are NOT purposely trying to destroy our country. What else would you call it, what “higher education” does?

College Just Gets Worse and Worse

Here we had a student punished by college fat-heads–er, “authorities”–for disputing a Muslim professor’s assertion, made in front of the class, that the crucifixion of Jesus Christ was a hoax.

If he’d said Islam was a hoax, he almost certainly would have been murdered.

Look at ’em all lined up to knock us down: Democrat Party, Uniparty, Hollywood, nooze media, teachers’ unions, communist and Muslim “professors,” rioters recruited for the purpose–it’s kind of amazing we’re still here. Still standing.

But I don’t think our enemies listed above intend to leave us that way.

‘How Common Core Will Make Your Kids Smart’ (2015)

Skeleton sitting at desk talking on telephone with webs and ...

(As in “Ow, that smarts!”)

We’ve had some time to digest the results of Common Core–years, in fact–and now we know: it’s been a spectacular success! By now at least half our college-bound high school seniors can pass this test.

How Common Core Will Make Your Kids Smart

You don’t hear much about Common Core lately. “Gender-Affirming Care” has been grabbing all the headlines. But whatever’s occupying center state, we know we can rely on our national teachers’ unions to finish the job!

Judge Smacks Down CRT ‘Teaching’

The Teachers' “Red for Ed” Movement Is Far From Dead

The “Red” is communism.

A California judge has upheld a decision by the Temacula Valley Unified School District to “restrict false and divisive CRT (“Critical Race Theory”) lessons (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/02/surprise-court-makes-commonsense-ruling-woke-critical-race/). He found the “teaching” to be false and divisive” (Gee, ya think?).

CRT “teaches” that all white people are “oppressors” and all non-whites their victims.

Why did this wind up in court? Because the local teachers’ union, and assorted “activists” sued to overturn the board’s decision. They wished to continue CRT teaching. The judge said no.

The plaintiffs also sued the board for requiring “teachers” to inform parents of their students” “gender transition ideas.” They lost that one, too.

Do you still think the teachers’ unions are your friends?

So that’s a big win for sanity and decency–and the (ahem!) “educators” had to walk away defeated. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Brockton School Board Asks for National Guard

Imagine how bad this picture would be if the kids were older.

Brockton, Massachusetts–Rocky Marciano’s home town–I spent a few weeks there, back in the 1970s: a very nice blue-collar town.

It must have changed some. The Brockton school board has called on the governor and the mayor to bring in the National Guard to restore order in the high school.

Violence at High School in Massachusetts is so Bad That School Committee Members Are Calling for National Guard Intervention

The details are kind of sketchy, but we are told that the school is becoming unmanageable due to “violence and drugs” among the students. I’ve had teaching assignments that could be described that way, but never to the point where they had to call in the National Guard. It must be worse than anything I’ve ever seen–and that was bad enough.

Brockton is waiting for the governor’s decision.

Public education is broken. It has to be replaced. And until it is, the kids are better off at home.

‘Headed for the Rocks?’ (My Newswithviews Column, Feb. 22)

Historic Valley Forge

Today’s George Washington’s birthday. He’d be appalled if he could see us now. “I went through winter at Valley Forge for that?”

Headed for the Rocks?

Really–is this an ongoing scientific experiment, authorized by our beloved Leaders, to see how much abuse our republic can take before it collapses altogether?

(It’s the winter of 1777 and Washington tries to rally his battered troops by showing them glimpses of their country’s future. “Come on, boys! This is for President Joe Biden!” Half the army drops dead on the spot. The other half flees in terror…)

‘Kids Too Weak to Grip Pencils?’ (2018)

15,502 Child Head Down Royalty-Free Photos and Stock Images ...

“So what am I supposed to do with this?”

British “educators” discovered, a few years ago, that children in the touchscreen generation were too weak to grip pencils. Or do much of anything else, when you come right down to it.

Kids Too Weak to Grip Pencils?

Now it’s six years later. I wonder if they took the touchscreens away and went back to pencils, erasers, paper, rulers, etc. [Laughs hysterically. Has to be shoved into a straitjacket.]

Do you like the way we’re heading?
