Sports fans and silly face paint–not exactly unusual!
A California middle school has suspended an 8th-grader from all school athletic events… because he showed up at a football game wearing face paint on his cheeks (https://nypost.com/2023/11/13/news/california-middle-schooler-banned-from-sports-over-black-face-but-group-says-he-was-just-wearing-eye-paint/).
“School officials” (LOL) called it “blackface” and banned the boy from attending any more school sports.
Sports fans all over the world paint their faces every color you can think of, to show support for their teams and get a second or two of air time on TV. A search for “fans wearing face paint” will provide hundreds of examples.
Gee… Do you think it’s possible that “school officials” were looking for some kind of Racial Incident to exercise their virtue signaling?
The school principal we had when I was in kindergarten was a saint, we all loved him. All the ones that came after him were slugs. The teachers weren’t so hot, either–but it was public school, you take what you can get.
Hey, one kid, he’s expendable–he’s the penny we spend to push our notion of Racial Justice.
But I can’t think of anything we can do without more than our so-called education system.
A few years ago there was a flap involving a public school principal in Atlanta who wanted to get rid of the Pledge of Allegiance and replace it with some “global citizens’ oath” drawn up by chattering ninnies at Harvard.
Let’s finally admit that our public schools, that we pay for, are being used against us by the Far Left crazies who run them. They’re way too far gone to be reformed.
Homeschooling is the only effectual response.

True, the project got shelved after the public found out about it and parents complained that they hadn’t sent their kids to Clemson to provide light reading matter for perverts. Somehow these pinheads always expect to skate right past the public, and they’re always astounded when the public hates their little schemes.

In 2017 the nimrods running the Life Sciences Secondary School in New York City decided books were old and useless and from now on the school would go bookless–another one of those stories that made its little splash and then was heard no more, when our Free & Independent Nooze Media failed to follow it up.

Public school teachers may never get around to teaching any history, math, or reading; but they do find time to “teach” children that “Communism has some really good ideas!” Once upon a time they’d chase you out of town for that.
Originally public education promised universal literacy and all the riches of several millenia’s worth of history, tradition, and lore–for everyone. Well, how did that turn out? Can you find a 10-year-old in public school who knows who David and Goliath were? Sheesh, my mother taught me all those things!
