Block ’em all–and make it hurt!
To protest the government’s persistent “lawfare” against President Donald Trump, Senate Republicans have vowed not to “fast-track” any more of Joe Biden’s appointments–some four dozen of them, mostly to judgeships (https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2024/06/13/j-d-vance-senate-republicans-announce-blockade-of-biden-nominees-to-protest-bidens-radical-lawfare-against-trump/). And some bureaucratic jobs you never heard of and probably won’t ever hear of again.
Not that the Republicans can stop these appointments; but they can stretch it into a long and painful process. I mean, how long do you want to wait, how many times do you want to be grilled by Congress, before you get your gavel?
Well, something needed to be done. And much more still needs to be done. Democrats are trashing our republic. They have politicized everything. They need some heaping doses of their own medicine–again and again until they stop.
Republicans also need to find a way to throw some prominent Democrats into prison for a while… as Democrats do to their political opponents. Let them now have a hearty taste of it.
They’re not going to stop screwing with us until it becomes too painful for them.
