Put a few news stories together, and you’ve got a pretty good picture of what America will look like if Democrats are ever able to make their dreams come true. Sort of a Soviet Russia without the balalaika music.

Yeah, yeah, “socialism” really, truly works in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark–small countries with culturally homogeneous populations (until they started importing Muslims, big-time), miniscule defense budgets, where everybody works and there is no sprawling underclass supported on the public dime. Only those countries are changing fast.

They won’t run out of money as fast as we would, if we tried the same policies–but they will run out of it someday.

Portland Mayor Won’t Let Cops Protect ICE Employees

This is how a republic dies.

But hey! Are you ready to vote for “Democratic Socialism” in November? For open borders, and no more immigration law enforcement?

Portland, Oregon, is ready. Last month “protesters” calling themselves “Occupy ICE” blockaded the city’s ICE office, threatening ICE employees, and stayed there because the mayor refused to let police intervene. Now the employees have sent the mayor a “cease and desist” letter, promising to sue the city if they can’t get police protection from the mob (http://www.wweek.com/news/courts/2018/07/30/ice-agents-say-portland-mayor-violated-the-u-s-constitution-by-barring-police-from-responding-to-the-feds-calls-for-help/). It seems the mayor’s tight leash on the cops created “a zone of terror and lawlessness” around ICE headquarters, putting federal employees in fear of their lives.

The 14th Amendment to the Constitution affords all American citizens equal protection of the laws–even immigration enforcement agents. How inconvenient!

This is Democrat America, folks–mob rule. Just as John Quincy Adams predicted, long ago. His prediction has been a long time coming true, but now it’s here. We can see it with our own eyes.

If this is what you want, by all means vote for Democrats in November. If you want Venezuela, they will give you Venezuela. Right here at home.

A government that refuses to protect its own citizens and enforce its own laws has no reason for existing.

Prosperity Up, Dems Down

Americans are producing and buying more goods and services than they have for a while, and as a result, our country’s second-quarter Gross Domestic Product is up 4.1% and more and more of us are achieving prosperity (http://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/399324-american-prosperity-of-trump-era-marks-real-turning-point-in-history).

“What terrible news!” laments the Democrat Party.

Democrat National Committee deputy assistant vice-chairperson Pinky Lenin predicted that the American people would “revolt against capitalist prosperity,” turn unanimously against President Donald Trump, and elect no one but Democrats this November.

“We don’t want prosperity!” said Lenin. “We want tent cities, human feces on the sidewalks, and universal free college tuition for everyone whether they want to go to college or not! We want Venezuela! We want Hillary!” [He falls to the floor, foaming at the mouth. Interview could not continue.]

So here’s how the Democrats plan to take back Congress in November.

It’s not enough just to have a tantrum every day for two years. No–you gotta have a plan. And Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts), who says she’s an Indian but isn’t, she’s got a plan.

Warren, who pretends to be a Native American when she isn’t, told some noozie on CNBC that the tax cuts have got to go, and it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to replace them with, oh, maybe a 50% tax rate.

Hot dog! That’s almost as appealing as open borders! There’s just no stopping these Democrats. They know what we, the people, want! And we don’t want our freakin’ money.

Besides all this, Sen. Warren is a bona fide intellectual who used to be a college professor–prime presidential timber! But that’ll have to wait till 2020. The business at hand is to take over Congress and roll back those pesky tax cuts.

 

‘Activist’ Calls for Hillary to ‘Take Over’

Here’s what it looks like when they “take over”

When they were handing out stupid pills, this guy was first in line.

“Democrat activist” Scott Dworkin, “a proud member of #TheResistance” (oh, please), has called for President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence to be cast out of office and for Hillary Clinton, the most corrupt woman in the world, to “take over” (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/07/democrat-activist-calls-for-hillary-clinton-to-take-over-presidency-in-wake-of-trump-putin-summit/).

Did he wake up thinking he lives in Bolivia in 1908? Uh, dude, this is the United States of America and we don’t do that “take over” thing here. As badly as he might want America to be a Third World country, it isn’t. We don’t go in for coups d’etat, short-lived military juntas, firing squads, and all the rest of that cool progressive stuff.

Well, at least his remarks show us how Democrats are thinking, if that’s the word for it, and what they’d like to do if they ever got a chance to do it.

America cannot be great again until the Democrat Party is put out of business. Permanently.

Democrat Religion: The Book of Collusion

Browsing around assorted news stories this weekend, and reading the comments from assorted readers, I think I have to say that Democrats are now wedded to the Russian Collusion Myth: that is, Hillary Clinton is the rightful president–yeesh, the Once and Future President, if you will–but she was cheated out of it by Donald Trump’s “collusion” with the Russians. It has been added to their scriptures, along with some verses declaring that no illegal aliens voted for Hillary, not even in California or Chicago.

Go ahead, ask them what form the Great Collusion took. Like, what did the Russians actually do? Government investigators swear there was no tampering with the voting machines and not a single vote was changed, or in any way affected, by anything “the Russians,” whoever they were, did. What did “the Russians” do, to cheat Hillary out of the presidency? And why would they not want to deal with a corrupt politician–that would be Hillary–whose cooperation they already knew to be always on sale? A big enough donation to the Clinton Foundation, and you get the nuclear launch codes. If anything, Russian bad guys would have wanted Hillary to be president!

But the Democrats sit down by the waters of the Potomac and weep. It’s so unfair! It was Her Turn to be president! Her turn! She simply could not have lost without all that Russian cheating!

I’m old enough to notice that Democrats never got this upset about Russian tanks rolling into Hungary.

It remains to be seen whether their faith in Her Turn is strong enough to move them to nominate Hillary again. Once more into the breach, dear friends! This time it’ll work! This time we’ll keep the Russians out, and this time she will win!

I hope they try it. I really hope they do.

Hollywood Howls Over SCOTUS Pick

President Trump has nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court, and Hollywood is screaming bloody murder (https://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/2018/07/10/hollywood-resistance-freaks-over-kavanaugh-nomination-will-cement-the-first-american-dictatorship/).

As we all knew they would. Who did they expect him to nominate–Bill Cosby?

Some jidrool from Marvel Comics says Kavanaugh will solidify “America’s first dictatorship.” This guy’s head is solidified.

Has-been actor Ron Perlman says Kavanaugh will impose Islamic Shariah law on America. Judge Kavanaugh is not a Muslim, but never mind.

And Rob “Meat-head” Reiner predicts Kavanaugh will “destroy Democracy.”

I don’t know whether these people are possessed, insane, intractably stupid, or some combination of the above. I suspect they had these rhetorical gems prepared for anyone who was nominated, didn’t matter whom.

Shame on you, if you go to any of their stupid movies.

Hillary Rides Again!

I don’t normally do politics on a Sunday, but I’m not sure that this is politics. It may be a new and bizarre form of comedy.

Hillary Clinton, suggests a noted New York columnist, is gearing up for another run for president in 2020 (https://nypost.com/2018/07/07/is-hillary-clinton-secretly-planning-to-run-in-2020/).

Quick! Where do I sign her petition?

Yes, Hillary is busy–raising money, exhorting Dumbocrats to protest in the streets, and screaming bloody murder over anything and everything done by President Donald Trump. She’s helping to set up and fund new political action committees with names like “Demand Justice”–oh, please–and “Onward Together,” groups dedicated to defending abortion, saving Obamacare, and preventing voter fraud reform.

One of the reasons Michael Goodwin thinks she’s got a shot at it is that the Democrats don’t have a potential presidential candidate who’s not either a living fossil or a rug-chewing Far Left psycho (he doesn’t quite put it that way, but I will).

Well, I hope they run Hillary again in 2020, and again in 2024, and again in 2028, and as many times it takes to drive the Democrat Party into permanent extinction.

If anyone can do it, she can.

Jobs Up; Dems Down

You couldn’t quite believe it when, er, “comedian” Bill Maher said he was “rooting for a recession… to bring down Trump”?

Well, the Labor Department reports that our national economy added 213,000 new jobs in June–and Democrats are, predictably, singing the blues over it. They hate it when anything goes well for America. A booming economy? Say it ain’t so!

Nancy Pelosi said “the economy is being hollowed out”–what?–“to enrich big corporations and the wealthiest 1%.” She’s probably in that 1%, and she doesn’t want it getting crowded.

The high job growth, said the jidrool who chairs the Democrat National Committee, “is hurting millions of hardworking families.” By giving them jobs.

They want their recession back.

Don’t worry, guys. When the Blue Wave sweeps you back into power in November, your having won America’s hearts and minds, you can get to work wiping out all that dreadful prosperity with oodles more crazy job-killing regulations and erasing our country’s borders to bring in hordes of cheap labor to compete with those 213,000 Americans who just got new jobs and will surely thank you for putting them back on unemployment.

What’s good for America is bad for Democrats.

And what’s good for them is very, very bad for you.
