Portland Mayor Won’t Let Cops Protect ICE Employees

But hey! Are you ready to vote for “Democratic Socialism” in November? For open borders, and no more immigration law enforcement?

Portland, Oregon, is ready. Last month “protesters” calling themselves “Occupy ICE” blockaded the city’s ICE office, threatening ICE employees, and stayed there because the mayor refused to let police intervene. Now the employees have sent the mayor a “cease and desist” letter, promising to sue the city if they can’t get police protection from the mob (http://www.wweek.com/news/courts/2018/07/30/ice-agents-say-portland-mayor-violated-the-u-s-constitution-by-barring-police-from-responding-to-the-feds-calls-for-help/). It seems the mayor’s tight leash on the cops created “a zone of terror and lawlessness” around ICE headquarters, putting federal employees in fear of their lives.

The 14th Amendment to the Constitution affords all American citizens equal protection of the laws–even immigration enforcement agents. How inconvenient!

This is Democrat America, folks–mob rule. Just as John Quincy Adams predicted, long ago. His prediction has been a long time coming true, but now it’s here. We can see it with our own eyes.

If this is what you want, by all means vote for Democrats in November. If you want Venezuela, they will give you Venezuela. Right here at home.

A government that refuses to protect its own citizens and enforce its own laws has no reason for existing.

So now it turns out the leftids not only kicked the president’s press secretary out of the restaurant, but the crazed owner followed Ms. Sanders’ in-laws to another restaurant and “demonstrated” against them there.

According to the crazed owner, the restaurant’s crazed employees demanded that Ms. Sanders be kicked out because she works for President Trump, who not only is an evil bad guy for trying to enforce our country’s immigration laws, but they were also enraged by his policy of “no transgenders in the military.”

They say they’re unbearably afflicted by the law that separates illegal aliens from their children when they’re caught–although we didn’t hear a peep out of any of ’em, the whole time their so-called president was in office, for eight years.

They care so much for children. I guess that’s why they kill them in the womb and auction off the body parts. Hey, libs–that’s how you care for children?

There might have been young children in the home with the senior DHS official. Some little girl might have opened the door to find a “burnt and decapitated animal” on the porch.

Not one elected Democrat, no, not one, has so much as raised an eyebrow over these quasi-terrorist shenanigans–let alone disavowed it, or condemned it. Not one. We can only conclude that either they tacitly consent to it, or else they, themselves, are by now afraid of the foaming-at-the-mouth lunatics that they’ve stirred up, and don’t dare say a word against them. Or both, maybe.

This is all supposed to win us over for the Big Blue Wave, come November.

The single best thing that can happen to America is for the Democrat Party to be put out of business forever.

They’re Playing with Fire

How leftids make law

Remember how you were taught, in school, how laws are made? “How a bill becomes a law,” and all that.

I don’t remember anything in those lessons about threatening and harassing government officials.

A few days ago, cranked-up leftids chased our Homeland Security chief out of the restaurant where she was having a working lunch (https://www.thewrap.com/kirstjen-nielsen-chased-out-of-mexican-restaurant-by-democratic-socialists-fascist-pigs-video/). It was the usual sublime Democrat rhetoric: “Fascist pigs!” Everyone who’s not them is a fascist. “No borders, no walls!” Yeah, let’s have a country without borders. Of course, it wouldn’t be a country then, but let’s not let that stop us.

They also followed her home at night and chanted “No justice, no sleep!” (https://www.commondreams.org/news/2018/06/22/no-justice-no-sleep-protesters-blare-audio-crying-detained-children-outside-dhs) And they played loud audio of children crying–which never bothered them for a minute during the eight years of President *Batteries Not Included.

I didn’t know it was okay, legally, to do this.

So is this the new rule–whoever stages the biggest, noisiest riot gets to make the laws?

If Christians were as fanatical about their faith as leftids are about their ideology, that would be terrifying. Trust me, you don’t want to be in that world.

This tantrum has been going on since Election Night of 2016. Now it’s getting out of hand. Unable to accept the American people’s rejection of their Open Borders & Transgender Fun Pack, the Left turns now to lawlessness. Or rather, even more lawlessness: they were already flouting our immigration laws.

We’ve got the nooze media, the looniversities, movie stars, and Democrat politicians whipping into a frenzy a lot of leftids who are already a dozen fries short of a happy meal… and this is dangerous. This is how republics die. This is how First World countries turn into Third World hellholes.

Tell me they’re not prepared to bring this country down, if that’s what it takes to get them into power.

Not that I’ll believe you.

Today in America leftids and their henchmen in the nooze media are doing everything in their power to batter down what’s left of our national borders and turn the whole country into San Francisco. They use illegal aliens to do it, just as they’ve done in Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Britain, and the rest of Western Europe. They have done this everywhere they win elections.

What is it about squalor, crime, filth, public health hazards, and boiling misery that turns Democrats on? It’s like they get a sexual charge out of it. Not that they would permit anything of the sort in their own personal living space. No, no, no–this is meant for us peasants, us deplorables.

I should talk. My state elected a governor whose main preoccupations are to sabotage the immigration laws, legalize marijuana and sports betting, and raise taxes. And every flaming idiot who voted for him says “I thought he was going to lower our taxes”!

It is almost miraculous that any Democrat can ever be elected, anywhere. Because, folks, there is no excuse: only the most invincible ignorance can expect anything but disaster.

But that invincible ignorance is surely the most important product of our schools and colleges, to say nothing of our nooze and entertainment media. The dumber we are, the better they like us.

Why do we listen to these people?

If the churches had not spent the last hundred years or so collecting bellybutton lint, we would not be in the ridiculous position we’re in today. But while the church slept, the Devil’s servants were busy as bees.

Probably not the best idea, Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently tried to defend our country’s immigration laws by quoting Romans 13: “[T]he powers that be are ordained of God” (verse 1). Oh, Jeff ( https://townhall.com/columnists/michaelbrown/2018/06/19/quoting-the-bible-jeff-sessions-and-a-warning-about-whats-coming-next-n2492221).  You should’ve just said, “I’m the attorney general and it’s my duty to enforce the laws.”

So now the leftids in the nooze media, and the Democrat Party hacks–please pardon the tautology–are having a field day with their new equation, “Bible = Cruelly Tearing Children From Their Families’ Arms.” And we Christians should all be ashamed of the Bible and ashamed of our laws and our country and of everything else because it makes us the same as Nazis or slaveholders or people who forget to recycle their plastic, blah-blah-blah.

Why do we even listen to this crap? Lessons in Christianity from persons who despise Christianity and Christians. Lessons in family values from people who despise the family as an institution and are doing their best to destroy it. Lessons in “truth” from the same dunderheads whose college sages declare there is no truth–only “your truth” and “their truth,” and somehow their truth always wins.

As Christians we have a duty to ignore such people, to deny them access to our children, and do our level best to get their favorite institutions defunded and discredited. Kill public education, and leftism dies. That’s a fact.

Don’t be fooled. All this Democrat tear-jerking and garment-rending has nothing to do with compassion. All they want is to flood the country with illegal aliens. They think it means cheap votes.

Don’t let their sob stories get to you. And if you’re still wondering what could go wrong if the leftids get their way, take a few minutes to look at what they’ve done to San Francisco.

Using Children as Political Props

I really didn’t want to write about this today, but I suppose I ought to take some notice of it because it’s all over the nooze media.

Democrats, who only want to replace the electorate and don’t care what it costs the country, are playing the violin over “ripping children from the arms of their families”–which is their take on America enforcing her immigration laws. Coming from the pro-abortion crowd, it somehow lacks sincerity.

So they’ve suddenly got this doctrine that you don’t ever separate children from their families (unless you need to protect them from the Bible)… Uh, does that, like, work? If we were to apply this principle, wouldn’t that mean that any criminal who has children could never be put in jail? ‘Cause that’s what we do now.

But if you break our immigration laws and come here illegally, with a child who may or may not be really yours, we have no way of knowing, you get a free pass? And lots of free stuff? And get to vote for Democrats as soon as there’s an election? That last is illegal, too, but it happens all the time.

I hate it when amoral political schemers use children as props. And that’s all they are, in this case–props.

If you and your children live in another country, there are two sure-fire ways to avoid having your kids torn from your arms. 1) Come here legally. 2) Or don’t come here at all. The calamity decried by Democrats is easily avoidable by anyone.

As usual, Democrats are trying to create a crisis from which they benefit at the American people’s expense.

You’re in New Jersey now, and the ex-Goldman Sachs Obama crony who is now our governor, Phil Murphy, is going to set up a special office to “defend” you from the law… and “from Trump” (http://therightscoop.com/wow-new-jersey-will-become-a-super-sanctuary-state-for-illegals/).

Murphy defeated a “moderate Republican” who believes in Global Warming and sounds just like another Democrat.

The last Goldman Sachs guy we had as governor somehow made several billion dollars of public money disappear. We never learn. We voted for Hillary, too.

So, sure, why not? C’mon down to Jersey! Oh–and the new gov thinks that word “sanctuary” has become a sort of tainted buzzword that gets normal people riled, so from now on they’re gonna say “welcoming.” He’s a bit behind the times: libs have already tainted “welcoming” pretty thoroughly. But they think if they call themselves “progressives,” no one will ever figure out they’re liberals.

Funny, isn’t it? There’s no actual legislation that says you have to jump when a sodomite says jump, and take part in a lesbian pseudo-wedding when they demand it of you; but if you say you can’t do it because it would be a serious sin, they’ll come crashing down on you like the missing half of El Capitan. Destroy your business, write you up as an enemy of the people, and shove you into Sensitivity Training. And you haven’t even broken any written laws.

But the immigration laws are real laws–passed by our elected representatives, signed by assorted presidents, all proper and above-board. These laws, these real laws, Democrats and other leftids insist be violated with impunity.

Gov. Murphy, if I were president, I’d sling your sorry ass into jail so fast, your shadow wouldn’t know where to find you.

‘Sanctuary Cities’–Lawmakers’ Lawlessness

With laws shall our land be built up but with lawlessness laid waste.

That line, from Njal’s Saga, was written by an Icelander around the year 1280. In 1262, the proud, independent republic of Iceland succumbed to an epidemic of violent lawlessness and lost its independence. The writer meant for Njal’s line to be prophetic; but he was writing about something that had already happened.

Here in America today, more than 400 cities and towns, nationwide, have proclaimed themselves “sanctuary cities”–where America’s national immigration laws will not be applied, but purposely broken by these cities’ local governments–and vowed to defy President Donald Trump’s announced intention to cut off federal funding to cities that refuse to enforce the law ( http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-california-sanctuary-cities-20170125-story.html ).

At the same time, Democrats–virtually all the sanctuary cities are run by Democrats–insist that uh-uh, nosireebob, there’s no voter fraud, there are no illegal aliens voting, absolutely never happens… Yeah. And wait’ll you see what happens to Democrat voting numbers without illegals showing up. You could laugh if it wasn’t fraught with such serious consequences for our country.

The status quo is this. Democrat cities in Democrat states stock up on illegal aliens to pad their voting numbers in our national elections–and they don’t want it changed. That’s why they so fanatically oppose any voter ID legislation.

Take away the illegals, the dead, and individuals who vote several times each in an election, and you’ve carved out a huge chunk of the Democrat voter base.

Right now there’s a lot of big talk coming out of these cities: lawless mayors saying they won’t enforce the immigration laws and they don’t care what “Trump”–they refuse to call him “President Trump,” but hey, I felt just the same about that other guy, whatsisname–tries to do about it.

We’ll see how long the big talk lasts after the funds dry up.

Now, I’m listening. If you think there are really good reasons why the nation’s laws, enacted by the people’s elected representatives, should be flagrantly broken by mayors and councils in assorted cities, well, go ahead–tell us what those reasons are. Because I can’t think of any.
