Will It Hit the Fan Today in Arizona?

In just another hour and a half, Pacific Time, the Arizona Senate will open a hearing on a full forensic audit of the 2020 election in that state.

What will happen? Alleged leaks run the gamut of “Massive Fraud, Beyond a Reasonable Doubt!” to “Nope, nothin’ wrong here–pure as the driven snow.”

By far the easiest thing would be to whitewash the whole business and pretend it never happened. I will not be terribly surprised if that’s what they do. And then we can all sit on our hands for three more years and watch this doddering swigg in the White House do as much damage as he can, as fast as he can. Maybe the country will survive to the 2022 elections. But that’s only a maybe.

But what if they do find fraud, and prove it? Then what?

I think my wife came close to a bullseye when she said, “If they call fraud, you’re going to see more lawyering than you ever saw before.” Having stolen the country, Democrats are hardly likely to walk away from it. They’ll fight to keep it.

But a cascade of lawyering just might save the country! If Dems are kept busy running back and forth to court, and finding persons to blame for everything, they might not have time to do all the mischief they’ve planned.

And then there’s our Free & Independent Nooze Media. At the moment they’re downplaying Arizona. Count on them to do anything and everything that helps the Democrat Party. If the Dems go down the drain, the noozies might go with them. Maybe the threat of that can be used against them.

I have to wait till 4 p.m. Eastern Time for the hearing to begin. Again, I have no high hopes. I don’t dare have any.

But the Judge of all the earth will surely do right.

Arizona Audit: Do or Die

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the Arizona ballot audit, a full forensic audit of the 2020 election in that state, with emphasis on Maricopa County, is to be made public tomorrow (https://www.thefreedomtimes.com/2021/09/16/az-sen-wendy-rogers-signals-audit-results-will-be-publicly-revealed-in-just-over-a-week/). I’m not going to bother to link to anything spat out by Our Free & Independent Nooze Media Inc. The Associated Press in particular is in full Peking Review mode.

Democrats did everything they could to stop this audit. They certainly never acted like persons who had nothing to hide. But at long last the audit report is ready for a public hearing.

Did Joe Biden really win Arizona, or was it only massive fraud that got him there? And if there was fraud, will the Arizona legislature decertify the election?

We don’t know. It will take enormous courage to stand before the nation and say “Yes, our election was crooked.” So much easier just to whitewash the whole thing and hope America can survive three more years of this incredibly destructive regime. I don’t think we can.

I admit I don’t have high hopes for this. I don’t know where that much courage can be found, unless the Lord Himself sees fit to provide it. I hope and pray I’m wrong.

By the way, it really doesn’t matter what any other state does. Corrupting one election in one state, if proved, is a high crime demanding impeachment. Democrats spent several years turning the impeachment process into a kids’ game. But the survival of our constitutional republic is no game.

Pray for these legislators to do the right thing.

I know, I know–rob a gas station, and you go to jail; but rob Fort Knox and you’re a genius, you’ll get away with it because the crime is too big and too serious to punish: much easier just to pretend it never happened.

May the Judge of all the earth defend our country.

I heard a troubling thing on the car radio the other day:

“We’ll give you $100 if you come in and get your vaccination!”

You know–don’t you?–that ordinary flu is much more likely to kill you than COVID is. But do they try to make you take a flu shot? Do they threaten you with second-class citizenship if you don’t? Do highly-paid, albeit asinine, TV noozies come onto the air prattling about how “anti-vaxxers” shouldn’t be allowed to buy groceries, or earn a living?

And who would ever offer you $100 to get a flu shot?

This is all crazy behavior that I’ve never seen before, and I don’t like seeing it now. Have the tyrants found, in COVID, the magic rod that’ll make everybody in the world obey them?

I mean, whose $100 is it, or was it, that they propose to give away? By what authority do they do this? A little while ago they were offering donuts to any so-called adult who could prove he’d had a COVID shot. I guess some people will do anything for a free donut.

Why are we doing all these things that we’ve never done before? Why did we have to shut down the whole country for a disease whose survival rate is better than 99%? Why, all of a sudden, are “mandates” raining down on us like burning hailstones?

All this stuff demands an explanation. And so far we’re not getting one.

Doug Wilson has a pithy essay, Three Chess Moves Ahead (https://dougwils.com/books-and-culture/s7-engaging-the-culture/three-chess-moves-ahead.html) in which he warns of an active plot to subvert and take over our country.

It’s not a conspiracy theory when you can point to real people doing real things, bad things, and say “See what they’re doing!”

He thinks a certain element of our country’s, er, “leadership” is looking to pick a fight with the American people, to goad us into some ill-advised, dramatic but ineffective actions which will them justify “a draconian overreaction on stilts and steroids.” Sort of like the Jan. 6 “insurrection” at the capitol. They’re going out of their way to provoke us, he says, so they can then crush us. His advice, repeated often: “Don’t take the bait.”

Wilson thinks it would be a very great deal harder to cheat in the midterm elections than in the presidential election, and that the 2022 midterms our our best hope of taking back our country. But we have to get there safely first. Democrats will be highly motivated to do things to upset the midterms.

It’s sort of a long essay, with a lot of quotable quotes, and well worth reading.

They Like Us Hysterical

It’s a dynamic of history, in this fallen world, that there’s always somebody looking to enslave big chunks of the human race. That dynamic hasn’t changed, but two things have.

*Now they believe they really have a shot at enslaving everyone, the whole planet, not just continents and countries.

*They used to try to accomplish this by waging war. Now they’re using lies, flattery, seduction, fear porn, all backed up by more technology than is good for us.

Revisiting an incident in 2015 reminded me of ongoing current events in 2021. Then, a neighborhood busybody saw some kids playing with toy guns, went off-the-wall hysterical and called the school, and “school officials” suspended the kids from school for the rest of the year… for playing with toy guns… at home. Now the kids probably are immortalized as “terrorists” in the school district’s records.

Now, in 2021, having made most of the world crazy with fear, the enslavers justify every act of tyranny–every “mandate”–as necessary in the war against the killer virus. Or whatever new “variant” or new disease comes after it. There will always be one. Or they can dream one up as needed.

The idea is to keep us so terrified of dying from some horrible new disease that we won’t resist the erosion of our freedoms. It’s going to work because every new crisis will be “explained” with a lot of pseudo-scientific gobbledygook–people will nod their heads sagely and pretend to understand, because they won’t want to be mocked as ignorant.

And along the way, we only lose some silly little gewgaws like the security of our persons and our homes, free speech, freedom to assemble (unless it’s a riot: they’ll always allow riots), equal protection of the laws, due process of law… Indeed, there won’t be “law” anymore. Just mandates and directives. Backed up by Big Tech and a Chinese-style “social credit system” that tracks everything you say and do.

It’s all supposed to lead us to an earthly paradise. Loopy humanists say so.

Let me close with a quote from New York Mayor “Bill De Blasio” (not his real name):

“If I had my druthers, an all-powerful central government would determine your day to day reality.”

May the Lord Almighty defend us.

Kicking Sand in Our Faces

Charles Atlas’ ads were in all the comic books when I was a boy. They featured a skinny guy and his girlfriend on the beach, getting sand kicked in their faces by a musclebound bully. “Aw, shut up, you skinny runt!”

Now, in the space of just eight or nine months, America has been transformed from a powerhouse to a skinny runt; and all the bullies on the beach are kicking sand in our faces. Way to go, Joe!

We’ve just lost Afghanistan (not that we ever had it). Who’s next? Taiwan? I can just see the National Basketball Assn. rooting for Red China. John Kerry calling Taiwan “the aggressors.” I mean, who’s gonna protect ’em? Mr. Skinny Runt in Washington? Whose general think their main enemy is Climbit Change–or un-woke white people?

We’ve Seen It All Before

Who’s surprised?

We invested 20 years in Afghanistan, blood and treasure galore: and how long has it taken the Taliban to grab the nation’s capital city? Twenty minutes? Now there are thousands of people who need to be rescued–but probably won’t be. Shades of Saigon.

We were on the verge of achieving energy independence. But our senile “president” shut down the pipeline and now we’re begging OPEC to boost production and pretty please sell us some oil.

We were getting a firm grip on stopping illegal immigration; but it didn’t take the new regime long to rupture our border and create chaos.

We were shutting down our sweetheart deals with Communist China and starting to bring our manufacturing back home. Well, they stopped that, didn’t they?

America was getting great again; but now she’s just a punching bag.

Virtually anyone with a nodding acquaintance with our political history could have predicted these developments.These are the things that happen when Democrats take power. Think of Jimmy Carter and his crowd trying to figure out what would be the most favorable surrender terms we could get from Leonid Brezhnev. They might have put it over if Brezhnev hadn’t sunk into a state of deep senility.

Think of the Iranian hostage situation. They had to let them go when Ronald Reagan was elected. But none of the bad guys are afraid of us now. Didn’t take the Dems long to achieve that, did it?

God help us.

Pelosi to Step Down?

My view numbers are totally underwater today, so let’s have some political nooze. I was outdoors today, in the perishing heat, to write a piece of my new book, The Witch Box, and I ground out a Newswithviews column. Now I might as well report some nooze.

Will Nancy Pelosi step down as Speaker of the House and not seek re-election? Rumors to that effect have just emerged (https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/08/11/report-nancy-pelosi-eyes-the-exits/). The sources are Atlantic Magazine and the California Globe.

Yeah–promises, promises. Then again, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has resigned–and I didn’t think he would. Are Democrats trying to unload some of their biggest liabilities before next year’s mid-term elections?

Scuttlebutt has it that Pelosi, anticipating that Democrats will get creamed in those elections (promises, promises), and having no desire to serve in the minority, is seriously considering hanging up her spikes.

Oh, but this is too good to be true! Next thing, they’ll be telling us Chuck Schumer is about to take the noon balloon. There have been rumors before, last year and earlier this year, that Pelosi would leave Congress–and they never panned out.

Did I mention that Gavin Newsom’s chances of surviving the recall election for governor of California… are looking rather slim?

I consider it likely that, if there’s anything to these rumors, it’s only because the Dems have in mind someone even worse to replace Pelosi. How about Hunter Biden? He’d be a great fit.

Maybe we should be asking, “Whom does Xi Jin Ping want as Speaker?”

America will never be safe for as long as the Democrat Party remains viable.

All Is Not Well in Lib-Land

Why Gavin Newsom is striving for his next “Big Hairy Audacious Goal” | CALmatters

Why is this man grinning?

Democrats have got some problems lately. But what’s bad for them is good for America. Always.

In California, a poll taken by UC Berkeley and the Los Angeles Times shows Gov. Gavin Noisome–sorry: Newsom–down by double digits as his recall election looms (https://www.sfgate.com/gavin-newsom-recall/article/poll-Gavin-Newsom-recall-losing-Elder-Paffrath-16364991.php). No clear front-runner has emerged yet, but get this:

Bruce Jenner, a man who now calls himself a woman named “Caitlyn,” is polling 4%. What does that mean? How many thousands of Californians want this guy for their governor? One shudders to think.

And in New York, Democrats are turning on Gov. Andrew Cuomo, big-time. State Assembly Democrats want him impeached, NYC Mayor “Bill DeBlasio” has called on him to resign, and even Sen. Chuck Schumer doesn’t seem to like him anymore.

Cuomo is in hot water for a multitude of sexual harassment allegations, some of which carry serious criminal penalties. What a difference a year makes! Even when he was shifting COVID patients into nursing homes, resulting in the deaths of thousands, Dems were still hailing him as “the anti-Trump.” Now they won’t return his phone calls.

And for an entire week, seven days in a row (July 28-August 3), the fake nooze network, CNN, failed to attract one million viewers. Maybe people are getting tired of a steady diet of Democrat propaganda.

Dems are always surprised by developments like this. That’s because they believe their own lies and don’t know any normal people who might correct them.

May we all live to say, with a sigh of the most profound relief, “And great was the fall of it!”

Stupid Stuff That’ll Kill Us

We as a nation are doing stupid stuff that’ll kill us if we don’t stop.

*Purposely stirring up racial hatred, fear, and animosity, teaching Hypocritical Race Theory in our public schools–for no reason at all, except to help Democrats wield their politics against us.

*The whole transgender thing.

*Refusing to protect our southern border.

*Panicking, shutting down the national economy, suspending our rights, and going absolutely bat-schiff whenever a new germ crops up.

*Training our armed forces to look on their fellow Americans as the enemy.

Why are we doing those things? What benefit could they possibly have for us? Instead of a republic, we seem to be trying to create a rule of the incontinent over the incompetent. It’ll turn out to be like Hell.

If we don’t stop doing these things, we’re done for.
