The best-kept secret in journalism is that just about anyone could do it, the job is not that hard (except for the hours–those can be murder). So they have to make it look hard.
I have been, I guess, “a journalist” since the 1970s.
Like, how hard can it be to read cue cards? Or say what everybody else has been saying all day long?
It is a job that can be done well, and sometimes is. If only it weren’t so flaming easy to do it poorly!
Could they have even imagined the things they’d wind up fighting for?
Tuesday was the 79th anniversary of D-Day. Nazi Germany would be crushed by the Allies in the west and the Russians in the east.
We won the war; but this much later, what does the peace look like?
Democrats and teachers’ unions are beating us down and trying to turn us into another country… or maybe even no country at all. These enemies are here at home. We don’t need to cross the Atlantic to fight them. And it’s not a fight for armies. It’s dollars, not bullets, that will win. Dollars kept out of the enemy’s hands and not used against us.

If you’ve noticed that it’s almost impossible to reach a meeting of the minds with someone who believes in socialism (or many other isms), it’s not because you’re doing it wrong. You’ve come up against that person’s religious faith. He can deny he has any “religion” till he’s blue in the face; but false religions count, too.
Do we give up on Christianity because some college professor worships her reflection in a mirror? Because Bill Nye the Bull**** Guy says we should?
This fallen world is a hard school; but the Teacher does know what He’s doing.

Just to take one example–If enough people pursue (and catch) “gender reassignment,” the human race goes extinct. And yet the Democrat Party and all leftids everywhere are crying out for more and more of it.
Why?
My editor says it’s because they are convinced that by tearing down our civilization, they will wind up at the top of the pyramid, enjoying unlimited power over others.
But what about the brainless little schlubs who rejoice in this insanity? They can’t believe they’re going to rule the world–can they?
It’s a horror, and it has to stop before it stops our species.

No one ever mentions this; but if enough children get their “gender reassigned,” the human race will blot itself out of existence. Except, of course, for elite globalist bigwigs who’ve had their so-called minds downloaded into really cool robots. But they weren’t going to have any children anyway.

Someday we might be in pretty desperate straits, having rendered way too many children permanently sterile. What are we going to say? “It seemed like a good idea at the time”? But we are unlikely to have any posterity to say it to.

Years before it caught on in America, Canada brought “gender coaches” into elementary school classrooms to sell kids on the joys of aberrant sex. It seems Canada’s always slightly ahead of us when it comes to culture rot.
A few years ago, Canada came up with two new schemes that must’ve had America’s Democrats drooling with envy. * Make support for abortion a condition for getting a summer job. *Give labor unions absolute power over who works and who doesn’t. These capers have worked out so well in Cuba! And North Korea! Really, what’s the point of even having a government if it can’t force people to violate their conscience?
“Government,” as we like to call it, is trashing our country. You can think of as many examples as I can, but here are a few to get you started.
It’s always the same. No one gets fired. No one goes to jail. And we get the occasional suicide or murder to drive up the ratings on the–ahem!–“news” shows.
Governed by people who despise us… Not a nice prospect for the rest of this already wretched century.
This is ice that won’t support the human race.
I’m still shaking my head over the clumsy, inept “women’s figure skater” who is actually a man and was only featured in a sporting event because insane ideology demanded it.
How far do we have to let this wicked stupidity go? Really, it has to stop. In addition to a spiritual pollution, it could also lead to widespread sterility. Maybe even extinction. The Favored Few could download their minds into robots and live forever with none of us plebs to get underfoot.
Or at least they think they can.
If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ve already encountered the inanities described in this week’s Newswithviews column. A stunned incredulity moves me to revisit them.
Letting criminals run wild. Spending millions of dollars to find out whether house paint is racist. (Why not? Everything else is.) Spending millions more to reprint government documents with a different type face, because someone, somewhere, can’t read the ones we have.
How long can we keep on doing stupid stuff like this before our civilization capsizes?
Are you a terrorist? Am I? The way they bandy the word around these days, you just can’t tell. Image finding out that you’re a terrorist–and you never knew!
Turning the language into mutually incomprehensible gibberish has always been a go-to for the Far Left Crazy. If your speech is incoherent and disorganized, so will be your thoughts. This is why their definitions of words–like “terrorist”–keep expanding, contracting, and contorting.
It’s the Tower of Babel all over again–this time orchestrated not by all-righteous God, but by mal-educated and malicious imps.
