If You’re ‘In the Mood’ in Sweden, Hold That Thought

Under a new Swedish law that will go into effect in July 2018, no one can have sex without at least the verbal consent–and probably written consent as well–of both pratners: otherwise, it might be rape. The law doesn’t say “written,” but… “in a potential rape allegation, it would be wiser to have the permission written down on paper.” Maybe the government could provide standard forms. So if you’re “in the mood,” try to stay in it long enough to fill out the paperwork.
The law was inspired by the #MeToo campaign. Every woman has been sexual harassed or abused, and every man is guilty. Until it all burns itself out a couple of months from now.
Hey! Remember when all the leftids were screaming, “Keep the government out of our bedrooms!” Now they’re screaming, “Get the government into our bedrooms!”
The one and only newspaper columnist who voiced opposition to the new law was promptly fired. Diversity allows no room for dissent.
And despite what everybody knows to be the case, but won’t admit, the government refuses to release statistics on the “ethnic backgrounds” of rapists. Hint: Muslim “asylum seekers” declare it’s a righteous act for a Muslim man to rape an infidel woman. But to mention that might move someone to question the government’s wisdom in importing, en masse, Muslim males of military age.
Government makes a rotten god and an even worse master.

‘Diversity’ Kills
The bloodthirsty loon who killed eight people in New York City yesterday, by running them over with a pickup truck, was able to do so because of an insane government program called… The Diversity Visa Lottery! Ain’t that great? Because “diversity” is an end in itself–especially the kind of “diversity” that only exists because idiots in high places go far out of their way to create it–we had this lottery for people from countries with few immigrants to the USA. This waste of space was from the Islamic paradise of Uzbekistan. He won the lottery! And America lost.
Liberals in government are extremely dangerous to the people they pretend to govern. Eight innocent people are dead because of this dozy lottery scheme. And we have one Muslim terrorist recovering nicely in the hospital, after getting winged by a police bullet, and bragging about what he’s done for good ol’ Islam.
Liberalism has turned the great cities of the Western world into an ISIS shooting gallery.
And if you voted for any of those “citizen of the world” morons running the show, you can take a portion of the blame.
The Official Wacko Party Platform
Beware the liberals bearing gifts
In addition to nominating for president a notoriously corrupt and wicked individual, the Democrat Party has also adopted a most extraordinary platform. It is extraordinary for its sheer outlandish foolishness. I don’t know how to link to the PDF document itself, but here is one of several sites that contain such a link ( http://reason.com/blog/2016/07/26/democratic-platform-2016-science-plankx ). So you don’t have to take my word for any of this: you can easily read it yourself–if you’ve got the stomach for it.
Among many inanities the platform lays out a national economic policy to be adopted by Careless Clinton if she gets elected. Even this section is too turgid to quote in its entirety; but here are some of the things they say they want to do.
–“Rein in the corporations” (except for those that make sizeable donations to the Clinton Foundation)
–Raise “the workers'” wages by order of the federal government, which sounds like something usually done only in countries that had names like Such-and-Such-Peoples Democratic Republic, etc.
–Force “the corporations” to share profits with their employees (the document always says “workers,” but I can only type that out so often before it makes me gag)
–Impose all kinds of environmental restrictions on business
–Compel businesses to provide expanded benefits to all employees
And then, having done all that–wait for it!–they propose… “to create well-paying jobs” all around the country.
Uh, who is going to offer these good jobs, once they’ve finished gutting business and making it virtually impossible to turn a profit?
I have been in business, and here is one thing that everyone ought to understand: if you don’t make a profit, you don’t have a business. As a rule of thumb, in order to keep any kind of business healthy, you have to be able to sell a good or a service for twice what you paid for it. Otherwise, it’s belly-up.
Obviously career politicians who have never owned a business, or ever worked for one, don’t know this. Or simply don’t care.
What do you get when you combine dishonesty, vast corruption, hypocrisy, empty promises, and just plain wacko ideology?
I hope we don’t find out.
Feds Ease Up on Order to Schools to Go Transgender
Oops! They went a tiny bit too far, too fast, and now the Obama administration has to throttle back on its “order” to public schools in America to let boys into the girls’ bathrooms or else: so instead of an order, now it’s just a “letter of guidance” from the Justice Dept.–what???–and the Dept. of Education ( http://abcnews.go.com/US/obama-administration-public-schools-transgender-students-access-bathrooms/story?id=39081956 ).
Remember when the Justice Dept. used to go after guys like Al Capone? Now they go after people who are a bit slow to hop aboard the transgender express.
The “letter of guidance” admonishes schools to allow any kid to use any bathroom according to his, her, or its “gender identification,” which is to be whatever the student says it is on any given day. It comes with a veiled threat to cut off federal funds to any school district that won’t let the boys stand over the girls while they pee.
Excuse me? Did I just hear you say you weren’t going to vote for Donald Trump, or you just won’t vote at all, and you don’t care if Hillary Clinton is elected president?
Remember what not voting for Romney (warts and all) got you.
Cheap Liberal Philanthropy
Expect to see a lot more of this, if the $15 per hour minimum wage goes through.
One more news story and that’s it for the day. My blood pressure can’t stand more than that.
Liberal politicians and quasi-Marxist unions in my home state of New Jersey are pushing for legislation to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour–almost twice the current rate, $8.38–as part of a campaign to raise it to $15 in all 50 states ( http://www.northjersey.com/news/business/campaign-for-a-15-minimum-wage-coming-to-nj-1.1300285 ).
This is a classic example of good works as practiced by hypocrites: works that wind up doing no one any good at all, and which someone else has got to pay for. No charity ever comes out of a liberal’s own pocket.
Just as Obamacare magically transformed countless full-time jobs into part-time jobs, the $15 minimum wage will transform countless lower-paying jobs into no jobs at all–for the simple reason that employers won’t be able to hire minimum wage employees without raising the cost of their product to a level which the market won’t bear. Unless you think people will be lining up around the block to pay $30 for a pizza.
But hey, why stop at $15? As long as you’re giving away other people’s money, why not make it $30? Or $50?
Oh–and it goes without saying that, if you double the minimum wage, employees who are already making $15 an hour are going to want their wages doubled, too. Government by fools and hypocrites–hot dog!
But enough of this. I’m ready for another cat video.
