Poll: 72% Say Nooze Media Tells Lies

Here’s a little something I missed when it came out three years ago: an Axios poll found that 72% of Americans believed the news media “report news they know to be fake, false, or purposely misleading” (https://thehill.com/homenews/media/394352-poll-72-percent-say-traditional-outlets-report-news-they-know-to-be-fake-false).

And the nooze has labored on it ever since.

In 1976 a Gallup poll found trust in the news media at 74%.

By 2016 that figure had slipped to 32%.

In the 2018 poll, even 53% of Democrats conceded that the nooze lies at least “sometimes.”

Great Scott, what would that figure be today? Does anyone who’s not a solid stone-head liberal have any trust in our nooze media–any at all?

Need it be said that it’s really very bad for the public not to have reliable information about what’s going on? But that’s precisely what we don’t have now.

It’s because our (LOL) “journalistic” establishment has thrown in all the way with Far Left Crazy, and hopes to be rich and powerful in a “transformed” America.

I was a newsman once. Today’s so-called journalism makes me ashamed to admit it.

What ever happened to “reporting the news”?

Well, James O’Keefe, of Project Veritas, swung his undercover microphone into action during a chat with CNN Technical Director Charlie Chester–who bragged about CNN’s use of “propaganda” to bring down President Donald Trump and replace him with a scarecrow.

Now we learn that CNN has also been out to get Rep. Matt Gaetz (https://thenationalpulse.com/breaking/leaked-video-shows-cnn-director-admitting-matt-gaetz-stories-are-democrat-propaganda/).

Charlie Chester put it so eloquently: “If the agenda, say, is like get, like Matt Gaetz right now, he’s like this Republican. He’s a problem for the Democratic Party because he’s so conservative, and he can cause a lot of hiccups in passing laws and what not. So it would be great for the Democratic Party to get him out… So we’re going to keep running these stories to keep hurting him…”

One of “these stories” was a false report that Gaetz had requested a meeting with the president to ask for a pardon for assorted “crimes.” The story was not true, but CNN kept it on their front page for 24 hours.

So nooze media are going to decide who’s in Congress and who isn’t? I thought the people were supposed to decide that in elections. Then again, we know what they’ve done to elections, don’t we?

These are acts of war against America, and against the American people, by a domestic enemy intent on destroying our constitutional republic and replacing it with a one-party totalitarian regime owned and operated by the Far Left. CNN is in that sense an enemy unit engaged against America.

And right now it looks like the enemy is winning.

Honk if this surprises you: CNN’s technical director, Charlie Chester, has admitted that the nooze network’s “focus was to get Trump out of office”–to which end they used “propaganda” (https://www.projectveritas.com/news/part-1-cnn-director-admits-network-engaged-in-propaganda-to-remove-trump/).

This came out in an undercover recording by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas.

“Look what we did, we got Trump out,” Chester bragged. “We were creating a story.”

Or creating an act of war against America. Take your choice.

Chester went on to say, “Climate change is going to be the next COVID thing for CNN… Fear sells.” Eventually, he explained, COVID will taper off and people won’t be afraid of it anymore; but climate change, he said, is something CNN can “milk” for years to come.

So now, thanks in part to CNN, we have a mummified doofus in the White House, a ruptured southern border, huge tax hikes on the near horizon, people going energetically paranoid about COVID, and riots all over the place. Thanks, Democrats. Thanks, nooze media.

What can we do about it?

I wish I knew. I really wish I knew.

In 2017 our Free & Independent Nooze Media Inc. were trying to solidify the transgender delusion into their style manuals, forbidding…uh, “journalists” from writing anything that might suggest that there were only two genders.

Now, in 2021, our Democrat Congress is trying to set up “transgender” as a law, and woe to anyone who speaks the truth! But the AP will always be able to boast, “We led the way!”

Our culture is dying right before our eyes, murdered by leftids. Now that they know how to steal an election, they reckon there’s nothing to hold them back from killing America and replacing it with some kind of golem created by themselves.

‘Social Amnesia”

R.J. Rushdoony wrote about this back in 1992–“social amnesia,” which is “the loss of the past.” Not knowing who we are, how we got here, where we came from: not knowing anything.

But he also wrote about “deliberate amnesia,” which boils down to denying something ever happened, or at least suppressing enough information about it to create a false and tainted memory.

And look at this! It’s 2021, 29 years later–and have we got deliberate amnesia to spare! We’ve raised a bumper crop.

Example (or rather, “Flagrant Example”): How far can you read into a Newsweek article, or listen to a CNN broadcast, before you read or hear something about “unfounded allegations” about the 2020 election being stolen, bald assertions that the charge is “without evidence”–just slipped into any sentence as if it were a well-known fact that no one but a fool would even attempt to dispute.

Gee, if those charges are so unfounded, so without evidence, then why are you guys so desperate to deny us our day in court? Why do you refuse to hear the evidence? Doesn’t sound to me like confidence in the rightness of your cause.

Politicians, nooze media, Hollywood–all playing with our memory. All trying to create amnesia.

And people who lack any knowledge of history are condemned to a kind of perpetual childhood.

Just how badly can fake and feckless “news” reporting damage a country?

It very nearly killed Great Britain.

The owners of the major newspapers, the BBC, and the ruling political party all worked together to convince the British people they had nothing to fear from Adolf Hitler, he was a nice man, he only wanted what was reasonable, he would never go to war, etc., etc.

Not only was it all lies. They knew it was all lies. And when war finally did break out, it found Britain weak and unprepared.

Many, many people suffered for this.

As our country will suffer–at the hands of Red China, our own fake nooze media, and the Democrat Party.

A Prediction: Prepare for Scare

One thing I think is bound to be a feature of this year is scare stories aimed at us from all directions. Scares and hoaxes and we’re-all-freakin-doomed–from the nooze media, assorted politicians, corrupt government officials who think terrified people are easier to keep in line, “teachers,” academic pinheads, and globalist gasbags, just to name a few.

Just in the last few hours I’ve heard scare stories of global power outage, the dollar’s gonna crash, and Trump’s gonna start a civil war, blah-blah. You can shrug it off when it’s just some nimrods on the Internet. But of course it isn’t. It’s highly-paid, high-prestige, sages and oracles and Experts. Who have access to computer models! And when has a computer model ever steered anybody wrong?

The effect of this–you’d swear it was intended, but it’s probably not–will be a state of sheer confusion as to what the “news” is or isn’t. What’s really happening? Who’s doing what to whom? Thucydides, over 2,000 years ago, admitted those were very hard questions for any historian to answer: and he knew, because he’d tried. But how much harder is it now, with everybody and his brother spouting Genuine Bona Fide Bombshells and cluttering up your email with them? To say nothing of purposeful lies, all designed to help the Democrat Party seize power over us, peddled by the “real” nooze media? “It’s being reported in the nooze, so it must be true!” Ghaaa.

Since the Democrats stole the 2020 election, we regular people have been in a kind of state of shock. We will need courage and endurance. What passes for “news”  just now won’t shore up anybody’s courage or endurance.

Pray unceasingly.

We had to go out yesterday, so we turned on the car radio and listened to what they still insist on calling “the news.”

Except for periodic weather reports, the nooze was all COVID, all the time. Second wave! Third wave! We’re all gonna die! More lockdowns? More mandates! Oh, yeah, definitely more mandates! Kiss 2021 goodbye!

This is how they hope to distract us from trying to do something about them stealing the election. The Left has put all its chips on the table for this caper: if they can’t make this crooked election stick, they lose everything. And so do their little playmates in the nooze media.

So they’ve got to keep us scared. Exaggerate the death toll, scare us with impending lockdowns–and next thing we know, Dozy Joe Biden’s been in office half a year. We didn’t even notice! We were all hiding under our beds–‘Cause King Covid gonna getcha!

The COVID panic–even if the disease is real, the scare was manufactured–was a very big part of Democrat strategy this year. To make their crime put down roots and grow, they need us to stay scared. The noozies understand that: hence the non-stop flood of COVID scare stories.

COVID Death Toll: A Flim-Flam?

Our Free & Independent Nooze Media Inc., and Democrat politicians, love to tell us that a quarter of a million Americans have died of COVID-19–but is it true?

A critical analysis by Genevieve Briand, assistant program director of the Applied Economics master’s degree program at Johns Hopkins University, has found that “deaths of all kinds, which would have occurred anyway [due to assorted causes], and been classified as being attributable to another cause, were being labeled as COVID-19 deaths” (https://andmagazine.com/talk/2020/11/28/how-many-people-are-really-dying-in-this-pandemic/).

She used the same data used by the Center for Disease Control and came to a completely different conclusion! Her report was published on the Johns Hopkins website–and then removed.

“And, miraculously, the decrease in deaths from all other causes [emphasis added] seemed to match almost exactly the number of deaths reported to be attributable to COVID-19.”

In other words, the report suggests that deaths due to a large variety of causes–diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, you name it–have been written up as COVID deaths.

Has America been flim-flammed here?

Now, why would anybody do that?

Uh… to increase their power and wealth? To prop up the sagging superstructure of Far Left globalism? At our expense?

I don’t find that hard to believe. Do you?
