Again I ask: Do leftists actually believe the crazy s*** they say, or do they only say it because they think you’ll believe it?

The latest left-wing lunacy, now picking up steam in academic journals and among “progressive” politicians in cities ruled by Democrats, is the cry to abolish police (https://www.city-journal.org/abolish-police-call-to-action). Yup–get rid of all the cops. This is especially popular with nut-job politicians in Seattle–called “Free-attle” by criminals, because it’s such easy pickings there–and the killing fields of Chicago. I wonder how long it would take to depopulate Chicago, once you remove the police.

We have to do this, these geniuses say, because having police is sorta kinda like having slavery.

Besides, they say, we don’t need cops! According to some head case at The Nation, simply replace your police forces with “full social, economic, and political equality.” Damn, why didn’t I think of that? All ya gotta do is abolish poverty, sez The Nation, and people will just stop doing bad things. We all know rich people never do bad things.

What makes these wackos think they can get people to believe them? Do they have that much faith in colleges and public schools?

And once again we see the racism of the Left: “minorities” are totally incapable of behaving like civilized human beings, so they shouldn’t be expected to.

The Left needs to be utterly defeated in this year’s elections. We are in the most grave danger if they aren’t.

So this is the Democrat front-runner, the dithering doofus for whom millions of [plug in charitable word for “gavones”] are going to vote for president. Joe Biden.

At a rally in New Hampshire this weekend, Joe doddered his way back to the imaginary Climate Change Crisis and a person in the audience began to ask, “If we don’t stop using fossil fuels–”

Again I ask, do leftists actually believe the s*** they say, or do they only say it because they think you will believe it? I mean, name a Climate Change big shot who doesn’t have a mansion, another mansion on the beach somewhere, a limo, and a private jet.

Does Biden even know or understand that the electricity he uses cannot be produced without burning some kind of fossil fuel? Where’s he gonna get a solar-powered private jet? But don’t hold your breath expecting any of these Far Left titans to give up even the most casual of their luxuries. All that giving up stuff is to be done by you, the undefended public.

Joe also said he’d go after oil company executives: “Put them in jail,” he said. “I’m not joking about this.”

Job One for 2020 is to keep all Democrats from gaining any kind of public office. Which is the bigger threat–their lunacy or their hypocrisy? Doesn’t really matter, does it?

Will the American people vote to disable their economy, abridge their own freedoms, and subject themselves to being governed by persons who despise them?

Democrats, noozies, and globalists intend to make it happen.

The Hallmark Channel… ‘Nazis’?

You have to wonder. Do Far Left Crazies actually believe the twaddle that they spout, or is it just their way of passing the time?

Some kook at leftid Salon.com sees in the Hallmark Channel, and in its perpetual flow of schmaltz, “patriarchal and authoritarian values” which are (gasp!) “white, heteronormative, sexist, provincial” and surely add up to “white supremacy” and are, at best, “fascist propaganda” (https://www.salon.com/2019/12/25/hallmark-christmas-movies-fascist-propaganda/). This writer wishes to be taken seriously as a clear-headed, fair-minded, penetrating critic. She is the author of a book whose otherwise profane title includes the phrase “Trump-Worshiping Monsters.” No bias here.

Earlier, Hallmark set a lot of decent people’s teeth on edge by including a clip of a lesbian “wedding” in one of its commercials. Faced with wide protests, they pulled the ad. That got the LGBT crowd in on the act. Cowardly Hallmark reinstated the ad and babbled about how they’re “committed to diversity and inclusion.” And now the Left has turned on them and called them Nazis anyway.

I guess if ol’ Heinrich Himmler could come back to life and go to work at Hallmark, he’d think he was back home at the Wolfsschanze. “Where is the Fuhrer? He must be here somewhere. Where’s Goering?” Get the boys together for a beer. ‘Cause everybody who’s not 100% Far Left Crazy demented… is a Nazi!

Shame on Hallmark for vainly trying to appease them. We should all know by now that that doesn’t work. You can kiss their commie boots from now to Doomsday, and the moment you stray a hair’s breadth from the party line, you’re a Hater, Biggit, White Supremacist, Homophobic Nazi.

We now have the House Judiciary Committee Report on why President Donald Trump just has to be impeached. The purpose of this move, says the report, is “not to inflict punishment for past wrongdoing–” eh?–“but rather to save the Nation from misconduct that endangers democracy–” what?–“and the rule of law” (https://townhall.com/columnists/jennaellis/2019/12/09/house-judiciary-report-bombshell-dems-trying-to-change-the-constitution-n2557690). LOL for that last bit.

To translate Dem-speak into plain English: they can’t “inflict punishment for past wrongdoing,” because there’s no past wrongdoing to punish; so what they’re gonna do is inflict punishment for any wrongdoing that the president might do, sometime in the future.

Is it necessary to point out that our system of governing ourselves is not “democracy,” but a republic? The terms are not interchangeable! To speak of the United States as a “democracy” has only two purposes: to bamboozle a poorly-educated audience, or to display the speaker’s own ignorance. Or both.

The formal Articles of Impeachment, proposed by rabidly partisan Democrats, are: 1) “obstruction of Congress” (breaking a law that does not exist) and 2) “abuse of power,” which, in a Republican president, can mean something as simple as being elected in the first place.

And after calling us every low-down name in the book–racists, haters, biggits, stupid hicks, deplorables, xenophobes, etc.–Democrats expect us to rally ’round their flag and overthrow the president that we elected to pull the Deep State monkey off our backs. “Oh, we see the light now! We are so happy that every schmendrick that we send to Capitol Hill comes home a millionaire! We are so happy that Bernie Sanders owns four houses! And that Joe Biden’s son was earning more than $50,000 a month for a no-show job in a foreign country! No more Trump! We can’t wait to get back to business as usual! That’s going to be just so great when you repeal our tax cuts and shower the money on illegal aliens! What a pity that we have to wait for it!”

The day the Democrat Party is put out of business forever, the very sidewalks of America will break out in rejoicing.

Do They Even Know What a President Is?

So Kamala Harris, whose qualifications for the job are, well, nothing, has suspended her quest for the Democrat presidential nomination. Never mind that she was polling a red-hot 2 percent. Never mind that she’d already spent about 130 percent of her campaign budget.

Heck, no. The real reason she’s had to drop out was… [trumpet fanfare, drum roll, etc.]… Racism and Sexism! An “activist” says so, so it must be true (https://pjmedia.com/trending/leader-of-anti-trump-resistance-on-kamala-harris-dropping-out-racism-and-sexism/).

Yep. According to Leah Greenberg, a self-proclaimed poobah of #theResistance–translation: a non-entity–it would be “catastrophic” for the Party to have an “all-white male” debate, never mind that Corey “Spartacus” Booker and that doofus Castro will still be there: but never mind. “The implicit racism and sexism of ‘electability’ is deeply damaging to democracy,” she babbles.

I don’t know. Wouldn’t it be infinitely more damaging to just about everything, if Kamala actually became our president?

But for a leftid worm-brain, the only thing that matters is the externals. Character counts for nothing. Ability counts for nothing. Fitness for the office counts for nothing. You want to give somebody the authority to sign or veto legislation, to launch missiles, to negotiate with foreign leaders, to be the leader in shaping public policy–you do? Okay! Just remember that the main considerations are that person’s sex (nyah, nyah, I won’t say “gender”!) and skin pigmentation. She can be a psychotic evil numbskull, but as long as she’s a Woman Of Color, that’s all us activists are interested in.

I can’t imagine what a liberal thinks the president is. Or ought to be. But surely the very last items on the list should be sex and color. Those characteristics are entirely irrelevant.

“I don’t care who does my heart surgery–it just has to be a Woman Of Color! it doesn’t matter that she doesn’t know how! The only thing that matters is Justice! Social Justice!”

Whenever a lib speaks the word “justice,” you know he’s just snuck the dried pea out from under the walnut shell. Now there’s nothing under any of the shells. That’s leftism. In a nutshell, as it were.

Jane Fonda, who used to visit North Vietnam and cheer on the communists while her country was at war with them–she would have been tried for treason if she weren’t such a non-entity–now wants “Nuremberg trials” for “climate criminals” (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/liberal-media-scream-jane-fonda-wants-nuremberg-trials-for-energy-executives). That would be, she explained, oil company executives and “politicians” who haven’t joined the Climate Change jihad.

They should be tried, she said, for “crimes against nature and humanity.”

The daft old trout declared that thanks to Climate Change–in addition to “we’re all gonna die, die, die in just 12 years unless the world’s governments DO SOMETHING!!”–well, “democracy is teetering on the edge of collapse… That’s why we need to go into the streets.”

So, we save democracy by rioting in the streets and holding show trials, a la the Soviet Union in the 1930s? Does that sound to you like any kind of “democracy” worth saving?
