I will not get into this business on the Sabbath day, the day of rest. Yes, I know we’re governed by venom-spitting dindles who think of nothing but new ways to make our lives harder and harder–gotta do it, see, to Save The Planet.

When Judah the Maccabee fought the Seleucid Empire to re-establish his country’s independence, his custom was to refrain from battle on the Sabbath, unless he was attacked and forced to defend himself. For his part, this was a declaration of his trust in God.

Nor did David attack his enemies until the LORD said “Go.”

So let’s rest while we have the chance. Our country needs saving. Our historic liberties are all at risk. Any leader who takes our side, they try to destroy.

Tomorrow we will fight again. We will not permit the Far Left Crazy to devour our country.

He was surely being groomed for high office… until this happened.

Oh, he had everything going for him! He was a survivor of a school shooting. He was a teenager. If you criticized him in any way, you were a bully. If he said anything that revealed his deep ignorance, you were supposed to give him a free pass.

But when he fell in love with himself and started nipping the ankles of senior Democrats who already occupied the top spots and weren’t about to move over–

Well, we haven’t heard bupkus from him anymore, have we? Wound up in the Land of Lost Toys with Mother Sheehan, didn’t he?

But The Party never runs out of useful idiots. Thank the schools and colleges for that.

This will be the first time I’ve ever run a post two days in a row. I only do it because, to me, the historical parallel fairly screams to me, “Learn from this, America!”

When the Gauls Burnt Rome

Rome was nearly erased from history when the city was taken and burned by the Gauls. How did it happen? The Romans had forced Camillus, their most capable leader, into exile; ignored reports that the Gauls were coming after them in great strength; refused to suspend their own political bickering; and were found completely unready for the crisis.

The Romans were only rescued because they repented of their folly, put their trust in their religious beliefs–and called back Camillus. He took charge and totally defeated the Gauls. Restored to his place, he then succeeded in defeating a proposal to abandon the shattered city and live elsewhere.

Is it saying too much to say that God had reserved Camillus for this very purpose?

And is it too much to say that President Donald Trump is our Camillus?

We need to put him back in office.

And we need to repent and turn back to God.

Stop doing stupid, evil, self-destructive stuff!

“The Gauls are coming!” But the warning was ignored.

I wonder how many more indictments will be hurled at President Trump today. Meanwhile, the early history of Rome cries out a lesson to us.

Rome was embroiled in a long and indecisive war with her neighbors. Not until they gave the command to Camillus were those wars won. But instead of gratitude, Camillus was subjected to a host of indictments by his political rivals, and forced to leave the city as an exile.

So caught up were they in partisan politics that the Romans ignored dire warnings that hordes of Gauls had invaded Italy and were marching on Rome. Resistance proved futile; the Romans were disorganized. The Gauls took the city and burned down most of it. Only a small force of Romans still held the city’s Citadel.

The situation was hopeless–until, in desperation, they recalled Camillus. Rallying the Roman troops who’d fled to every corner on the map, he annihilated the hitherto victorious Gauls: the city of Rome was restored to the Roman people.

America is in a very bad way: we all know it. Maybe not quite so desperate as Rome’s peril was, but more than bad enough.

Rome survived, and came back to win the war, because of only two reasons: Romans put their trust in their gods, their religion; and put Camillus back in charge. Nothing else would have rescued the city from extinction.

We must learn from their example.

When they’re not simply erasing history altogether, leftids hijack it.

So America’s 1969 moon landing–we are still the only country to accomplish that–winds up being portrayed as some kind of globalist triumph. And they wonder why so many people don’t bother with movies anymore.

God confounded human language to stop the construction of the Tower of Babel and to keep worse things from happening.

We need to get those Constitutional Checks and Balances back into shape.

To hear leftids tell it, a “Nazi” is anybody who’s not them, or who offers them even the slightest opposition.

What is a Nazi?

Probably you’re doing something wrong if some leftard hasn’t called you a Nazi yet.

Just for the record, “Nazi” is short for “National Socialist Workers Party.” Our current crop of Democrat leaders are socialists; and they use street violence to get their way. It’s true they aren’t nationalists; they hate their country. But that’s the only difference… technically speaking.

Why, pray tell, would “the corporations” want to kill off all their customers? Does George W. Bush really perform human sacrifices in… Denver? And how come rich, all-powerful bad guys can’t keep secrets from Joe Blow on the Internet?

Mark Rushdoony says conspiracy theories are out there because a lot of people want them–takes the heat off ourselves, if faceless plotters are to blame. “It’s not my fault! The Illuminati did it!” Totally lets the rest of us off the hook.
