The United Nations Dictators’ Club wants the “rich” countries to fork over $2 trillion a year to pay for “climate justice” and, ultimately, “climate reparations” (https://www.breitbart.com/environment/2022/11/08/u-n-tells-rich-countries-to-pay-2-trillion-a-year-for-climate-justice/).

Gee, where do we line up to pay? “We’re glad you asked that! Well, there is going to be transfers of funds to… poor countries! Oh–and China will be exempt from having to pay.”

Ah. “Poor countries.” The main thing that makes countries poor is bad government. Evil government is even worse. So what we are proposing here is massive handouts to totally corrupt Third World dictators who will spend the money on themselves. We only say this because this is what always happens.

If America had any self-respect, we’d quit the U.N. and kick their headquarters out of New York.

After being in office for only a month and a half, Prime Minister Liz Truss is out, resigned, sayonara, kaput… Shortest tenure ever for a UK prime minister. I wonder how many times she was able to send her laundry out.

Meanwhile, London Mayor Sadiq (“Jihad is just a part of city life, so grin and bear it”) Khan has jetted 7,000 miles to Brazil to discuss…[trumpet fanfare] Climate Change! Yowsah! Look how those plebs are killing the Planet with their toilet paper and air conditioning! I’ll do something about it as soon as I jet back to London and burn up another 7,000 miles’ worth of jet fuel.

P.S.–We won’t mention British police forces “enforcing laws” that they think should be on the books… but aren’t.

So that’s what a couple of activists did! They went to the National Gallery in London and threw a can of tomato soup at Van Gogh’s Sunflowers (https://www.nationalreview.com/news/climate-activists-vandalize-84-million-van-gogh-painting/). Then they glued their hands to the wall and harangued everyone who wanted to see a freak show.

The painting, protected by a sheet of glass, was not damaged. Someday those dindles are going to figure that out.

But in the meantime, how do you get them dum peple out there to bow down to the Climate Change crowd and do away with… well, with modern life. Live like 12th-century peasants. Don’t worry: activists, politicians, and celebrities will still have all the electricity they want. This business with the paintings is aimed at you plebs.

Oh, how persuasive! Like, as soon as some Stochastic Domestic Terrorist Who Uses Fossil Fuels sees a famous painting vandalized, he can’t help but think, “Well dog my cats! Looks like them climate activists are right! Here, help me get rid of my air conditioner… And then we’ll get rid of the car…”

There are no “global citizens,” and it would be a political tragedy if there were. Thanks, Big Bro, but we like our countries and we want to keep them! And I don’t want any Far Left nudnick from Iran or China or Mars having any say in what happens in America. I realize they’ve already wormed their way into many of our institutions, where they make decisions for us that are in their interests, not ours. They need to be cast out.

It does beat me, though, what they found not to like about Pelosi. San Fran Nan has been doing as much as anyone to turn America into a socialist basket case. Oh, the ingratitude!

The main lesson here is not “science,” but common sense.

In the absence of evidence, we should stop squandering our money on stupid “climate change” gimmicks and policies. Otherwise the money won’t be there when we need it!

Bird-killing “wind farms,” acres of solar panels filled with all sorts of toxic stuff we don’t know how to dispose of, inane restrictions on economic activity–we are wasting labor, thought, and money!

The international study cited by Sky News deplores the “naive belief in immature climate models” when the data shows… nothing! No emergency. No major changes. Nothing but the normal variations.

But that’s not how you rake in tax moneys and endow the government with undreamed-of power over people’s lives, is it?

And that’s what “Climate Change” is all about.
