We’re Doing Birthdays

I refuse to cover anything our lying worthless nooze media have to say today.

Instead, I want to remind readers that, here on this blog, we do birthdays! As many as we can. And we’ve got two of them to celebrate tomorrow. Two! I’m not going to tell you whose they are because I want you to come in and see for yourselves.

Why do this? Because normal life as lived by normal people has got to go on. We are not COVID Nation. It’s our country and we want it back. And we’ll find a way to get it back, too. But for the time being, we shall live as sane and normal people doing sane and normal things whether the Morlocks like it or not: because we are not their Eloi. We’re nobody’s Eloi, and wait’ll they find out how true that is!

God will provide. Have faith.

Once upon a time, this would have been unthinkable in America–forcing people to sign a “pledge” endorsing a political doctrine that they don’t believe in. As in “Sign it or else!”

Thanks to our America-hating educational system, it’s unthinkable no more.

All over the country, colleges and universities are forcing students and staff to sign pledges of support for the “Black Lives Matter” movement, a violent Marxist revolutionary group (https://americanpeopledaily.com/blm-agenda-liberal-universities-forcing-students-to-sign-pledge-or-else/). Some 150 law schools have told the American Bar Assn. that you shouldn’t be able to practice law until after you’ve completed “antiracist training.”

Wait! Stop! Hold it right there!

By requiring Americans to “take a stand against racism,” the Far Left turns it into a given that America is a racist society. They no longer have to prove it: it just is. They no longer have to win the argument. “Given that America is this evil racist society, what has to be changed about it?” This is an illegitimate and totally dishonest question.

It is not a racist country. And we are damned fools for allowing ourselves to be cowed by a bunch of commies, and not sticking up for our country–and meanwhile half the world is willing to do just about anything they can to come to this racist hell-hole… gimme a break.

These colleges and universities are actively undermining America, and using America’s hard-earned money to do it, and it flaming well has to stop. Or are we just going to wait until they tear down our republic and turn us into Venezuela North?

Take away the money! No more money for these wretched people! Stop the funding!

Before they stop our country.

Hmm…. Galloping senility shouldn’t keep you off the presidential ballot. Neither should being surrounded by crooks (Hunter Biden springs instantaneously to mind).

But testing positive for COVID-19, and feeling a little bit run-down? Well! The New York Times, America’s chief journalistic cheerleader for the Far Left Crazy, has called for President Donald Trump to be taken off the ballot because he and his wife, Melania, have tested positive for the virus (https://www.foxnews.com/media/trump-coronavirus-ballot-new-york-times).

Amnesia strikes again. How quickly they forget.

Earlier this year, the United Kingdom’s newly-elected prime minister, Boris Johnson, came down hard with COVID and had to go into intensive care. He did not resign, the government did not collapse, and by and by he recovered and went back to work.

If one candidate can hide in his cellar throughout the campaign and only come out when the moon is full, surely the president can rest in bed for a while and conduct his business–and his campaign–electronically until he’s on his feet again.

We aren’t going to discuss the Loving Left fervently wishing he will die. Because that’s what they always do. That’s the kind of people that they are. Don’t even think about allowing them to run the country.

The rest of us will pray for our president and entrust him to God’s care. We think he’ll get well again before too long: Mr. Trump is a strong and vigorous man, and our country needs him.

Come back stronger than ever, Mr. President! And blow those socialist pipsqueaks out of the water.

The Temptation of… Me

I’ve been losing a thousand blog views a month for three months in a row, and I don’t know why. It’s maddening.

Ah! But a friendly liberal popped in last night to tell me what I need to do!

See, I’ve got these “archaic politics,” and that’s what’s chased away a thousand readers a month. My politics were just the same last year, when I had those viewers, but now it seems they’re turning people off, big-time.

So all I’ve got to do is… drop the politics! What could be simpler? Go along to get along! And the readers will come flocking back. Heck, they’re only here for the cat videos and the odd joke or two. I should probably post recipes, too. Just get rid of all this stuff about chopping government down to size, exposing our elite massas as fat-heads and crooks, trying to rally people to end the Democrat Party before it ends America–get rid of all that, and the big numbers will be back before you know it.

And I will have sold out. Utterly failed in my duty.

I think it’s better to be a museum piece and be right, than to be totally with it and be totally wrong. Today as never before, the United States as a Christian country, as a constitutional republic, is in mortal danger. If America ever needed defending, she needs it now. If she ever needed God’s protection, she needs it now. Because wicked and ungodly persons and organizations are doing everything they can to take her down… and “fundamentally transform” her into a Third World basket case–so they can rule us for their own benefit, and torture us for their amusement.

The defense of a free and God-fearing America is incumbent on every one of us who has enjoyed her blessings. I am convinced that any successful defense must entail the destruction of the Democrat Party.

So, yeah, you bet I’d like to get those viewer numbers back; but not at the price of deserting my post.

 

Just a Little Question

According to the Narrative put out by our free & independent nooze media, Joe Biden is our next president, Donald Trump is toast, we’re all just dying for a tax increase, and America is a racist hell-hole that needs to be completely torn down and paved over, etc.

How true is this? Maybe it’s just a boogie man under the bed.

Oh, they’ve got polls!

But is it true?

It’s hard for us to answer that question because just about all we hear about what’s going on out there is served up by the noozies, and all we’ve got to stack against it is what we see with our own eyes and hear with our own ears. That’s always dismissed as “anecdotal evidence.”

So let’s play it safe. Let’s fight the Democrats like our country’s life–and our own lives, too–depend on it. Leave no work undone. Leave no truth unspoken. Leave no prayer unprayed.

And if it turns out they’re nowhere near as strong as the in-the-bag nooze makes them out to be, we can celebrate a landslide victory.

We Need Our National Mythology

You know what? We need our national mythology! In fact, with all these varmints on the left trying to tear it down, we need it more than ever.

Paladin, played by Richard Boone in Have Gun Will Travel, was “a knight without armor in a savage land.” So we had a whole passel of westerns on TV–all about moral and physical courage, standing up for what is right, thinking independently, and doing what needed to be done to tame the savage land. Maybe they were no more strictly historical than the King Arthur legends; but they pointed us in a good direction.

And I remember one time, going into the bookstore in the mall, hearing this theme song sung with incredible sweetness by a guy stacking the bottom shelves. I thank you for that memory, whoever you are.

We need our heroes back. It was an act of cultural suicide to get rid of them.

Fighting for America’s Soul is one of several books Bob wrote while he was with Coral Ridge Ministries. It was an urgent book in 2009. It still is, today.

By 2009 we were into the Obama regime and Far Left Crazy was working furiously to “re-make America” in its own perverted image. And that was before they came up with the transgender revolution. The author wondered if it was too much change, too fast, and whether the American people would wake up in time to save their liberties and way of life.

Did we wake up in time, by electing Donald Trump? We don’t know. But I think we do know that we need to re-elect him; and then, four years later, we’ll have to fight the battle all over again, keeping Far Left Crazy from seizing control of the government and picking up where they left off in 2016–only this time with a ferocious vengeance. Heaven forbid we should have to see it.
